Used this place in March 2016 - great price. At drop off, immediately upon arrival, we got out, gave them the keys (for valet), went straight into a shuttle van and got to the airport in about 5-6 minutes. So fast in fact, that forgot that we left both a camera and a kindle in the car. A week later, we arrived at airport, called them, they told us where to go to wait outside for pickup. It did take about 20 minutes for a empty van, because the first van that came by about 5-10 minutes after calling was already half-full (where did those people come from? is there an earlier van stop?). Anyway, the guy seemed apologetic, and said another driver would be by soon. It was no big deal to me, because after reading the early reviews, it seemed that it takes longer on the return part of the trip versus the start part of the trip. Anyway, next van came and got us and another family. Got back to the lot, us and 2 other groups waited about 5 minutes and we got our keys and the car (with camera and kindle untouched)! On their website they claim that shuttles run every 5-10 minutes but we waited for 40 minutes to get picked up after calling them 3 times from San Jose airport! It is a bogus business. Do not trust them with your time or your car! When the dude finally came he dared to tell that there was a shuttle that already came before we arrived at our pickup spot. That was a complete and total LIE! It takes them 15 minutes to arrive at the airport and it took us 5 minutes to walk to the pick up spot. How can he claim that they arrived, waited for us in less time than it took us to walk there when it takes them 15 minutes just to drive to the airport!? So after waiting for 49 minutes instead of getting an apology we received a big fat LIE! Disrespected and abused. Never use this crap business! read more

Drop off was easy with friendly attendants, we had to give our car key b/c they move cars around - not a problem for us. It was a quick shuttle drive from lot to SJC. Upon arrival back to San Jose, we waited ~25 mins after we called requesting the shuttle pick up. There were so many other people waiting that we had to wait ~10 minutes for a second shuttle. The first and second drivers were very apologetic. Upon arrival to the lot, our car was brought out to the front of the lot. We parked in the lot ~5am on a Tuesday and returned about 11pm on a Wednesday. The price was good but I will try another off airport parking lot in the future. read more

My experience has been pretty well here. As someone who travels 30 weeks a year I started using them recently. The space is safe with staff and very well priced. If there is a con it's maybe the wait time in getting picked up when you land but other than that it's a great spot to leave your car for the price. It's one of the cheaper parking options for SJC and I've never had a problem with them. Over the years, I've parked here a half dozen times and haven't seen any issues. The do note: "Please take pictures and video of your vehicle before you depart". Yes, damage happens. It sucks, have I had it here? No. Have I had it other places? Yes. Has it happened as bad as the 1* review say? Thankfully no. I hope they got their stuff settled. I do suggest whenever you park and rent a car, take pictures of all damage (or lack thereof) so that way when you get back. You have evidence with timestamps. The shuttle works okay. They are pretty prompt but the seating is more like a plank mounted to the shuttle. So it's a bit dicey but it IS a short ride. My biggest chuckle was last time, they overloaded the luggage area and the driver couldn't get the latch open. He kept trying to force it, thinking the door was just jammed (think like you have a front door that looks at the sun. You have to push the door to get it to latch). But it was that one luggage fell on the latch on the inside. Poor guy spent about 5 minutes trying to get the latch to go . He just needed to push it more. Personally, I still love parking at the Double Tree the most but not at 2-3x the cost. read more

Relatively easy check in process. I paid ahead directly on their website and provided the confirmation number at the check in kiosk. We self parked in the back. It was fairly tight parking and also only a couple spots available when we arrived on a Wednesday afternoon. A shuttle comes every so often to transfer to and from the airport. The parking lot is very old and tight. There is no organization to it and not much room to park. We waited 15 min after parking to get a ride to the airport, and 30 minutes once we returned to get a ride back. The shuttle on the way back didn't seem to have air conditioning and it felt really warm. I won't be using this lot again. I guess ya get what you pay for, as it is very cheap. I decided to park here for my 4 day trip to Seattle because it was cheaper than taking Lyft/Uber to the airport. I downloaded their app, picked my dates, and paid for my parking. Self parked my car and had to give my key to the attendant. I was told by another patron you give them your car keys because they will move it for you later behind their gate that they lock up. They have a shuttle to take you to SJC and will pick you up. Once I landed back in SJC and waited for my luggage at baggage claim, I called them for pick up. Got my luggage and had to walk to #11 on the center island to wait for the shuttle. Waited less than 15 minutes and and my car was ready for me when we arrived. And not one scratch on or in it. When I returned from the airport I had a flat tire. The gentleman at the kiosk spoke to another employee and he said he would be right over with one of the air compressors to see if we could fill it. The guy gave me a "look" that made me feel like he wasnt interested in helping. So I called CSAA. During the 30 minutes I waited, the "guy" never showed up. I also had a samll dent and when I tried to get help with that, again, I was told someone would come and no one ever did. I have parked here in the past however I will never park here again. I've been going there for years and last weekend I paid for indoor parking which I have done for the last 4 years. Indoor parking is $2 more and I have always drove my vehicle inside and parked it myself. This time, they said they were going to park it themselves inside the building. So I trusted them, and right before our shuttle came, I asked them again if they were gonna park it inside and they confirmed they would. When I came back, as I drove off I noticed my windshield and vehicle was full of water spots because it had sprinkled over the weekend. Great airport parking for SJ. First time using this location from a recommendation from a friend. Located off of 4th street, near apartments & some warehouses. Close to 101. Reserved online, checked in quickly & they advised me where to park. Keys handed to them, pickup ticket was given. Shuttle was quick to airport and perfect location, took less then 10 minutes for drop off as driver was racing for the Indy 5000. Make sure you save ticket as pick up info on there. Pick up location shuttle area 11, if by terminal B. Texted and called to let them know I was there. Took about 15 or so minutes for them to arrive. They verified ticket # Inside shuttle. Once back, Got my car keys at little kiosk & they pointed me to my car. Car was ready to go but door was unlocked. Everything seemed to be in place so didn't worry. Shuttle service is useless. It doesn't save any money or time if I have to take an uber to their lot. They claim shuttles every 20 minutes and shuttles on demand. To park your car at the airport they charge you $30 a day and who wants to pay that? Not me! To park at "Joy Park Fly" it's roughly $10 a day after taxes and fees. They provide a shuttle to and from the airport which runs 24 hr/day. The check in process was quick and easy. You show up, show your reservation and they hand you a card that you need to hold onto during your trip. Parking is done by the customer, not the staff and it's first come first serve. By the time we showed up there were very limited spaces. My biggest gripe about this parking option is the tight parking spaces and the trash scattered throughout the parking lot. I was worried about leaving my car in this lot after seeing how others were parked crooked or really close to the line, leaving little room for others to open their doors comfortably. No damage was sustained to my car, however, I do not think I'll be using this lot again. Overall, the value is great but this place just wasn't for me simply because of the risk. read more

Five stars are because upon return I asked my moronic 15-year old son to put my luggage in the car, he failed and we didn't realize until we got home. We were packed into a van with no windows to go to the airport. It was like they were taking us to prison. My wife cut her hand on a sharp piece of metal getting out on the treacherous step. Returning we were picked up in a normal van that was so crowded people were sitting in benches and standing in the aisle. The driver was speeding and swerving dangerously. We had a small infant in a carrier on the floor. There were small children and elderly standing hanging on for dear life. When we were dropped off at the car park the driver sped away with his tires squealing We will never use them again after using them for 10 years. Now that my home airport is SJC, I really enjoy using Joy Park Fly! I've used them for airport parking about 5 times in the last year and have had a fairly positive and consistent experience. + $6.99 / day - super cheap and definitely less expensive than taking ridesharing apps to and from the airport + It's easy to make a reservation via their website. They send a confirmation email that you can bring physically or digitally for an equally seamless check-in at the lot + Shuttle departs the rental somewhat frequently and is only a few minutes from SJC. Only had a couple of times where this took a long time - Pickup process is a tad clunky: you text a number that [your ticket number] is at Terminal A or B, which just prompts you to call them no matter what. (Which makes this step kind of pointless) Once you call them, though, you tell them which car to have ready and that you're waiting at the right stop. They then send a shuttle to get you / others - If you try to contact them on social media or their email, they flat-out don't respond Overall, this is a solid, no-frills service to use to inexpensively get to and from SJC and store your vehicle while you're away. read more

No, the shuttles don't come every 10-15 minutes. . . the shuttles come more like 20-25 minutes, unless you get lucky and catch one that someone else has already called - 23 minutes in my case, 20 minutes in the case of a fellow passenger on the return trip. It's only about 6 minutes to the terminal, but they wait and try to get more folks onboard, which I wish they would just say that and not act like they are running in 15 minute intervals. This last time I opted for the self parking price. It was a bit more affordable. I believe about $8.00 a day. It was an outside spot, but I didn't mind as I was only traveling away for a long weekend. The location is easy to find with google maps and is located right off the freeway a few blocks. The parking lot is gated and I believe someone is always on site. The only minor concern I had? Taking the shuttle back from the airport to the lot, it was PACKED! No Covid distancing. Everyone was wearing masks, but...omg, to be in close proximity with so many strangers, was a bit unnerving. Yet, I still chose 5 stars. I have never had anything but a good experience parking here.
