Had a case of the Mondays on a Tuesday morning, and because I didn't have my morning cup of coffee going into daycare drop off, I accidentally bumped my tire on the curb while pulling into the parking lot, damaging the driver side tire of my 2018 Mazda CX5 (the side wall). The best experience I've had at a tire shop. I did an inquiry and Richard responded right away. I provided him size of tires and what I use the car for and he gave me a quote. Richard kindly explained to me that my tires were very worn out, and suggested I get them all changed. He was transparent and said that for my Tesla Model 3, it would be $110 per tire ($440 total), and that it would take about 30 minutes. The staff worked very quickly, and Richard explained the terms of their warranty. He also recommended the intervals of which I should get my tires rotated, for $35 each time I went to get them done. Regrettably, it gives me no pleasure to rate a small business owner so low. I'm a supporter of local owned shops and always strive to give them my business. After initially reading glowing reviews I first messaged Richard of Morin Tires a week before showing up for an alignment. I specifically asked for a full alignment quote for my vehicle make and model (screenshotted) and he quoted me a full 4 wheel alignment for $80. I showed up around noon the week after, and I was friendly greeted, so I was expecting a great experience based on all the positive reviews. One of the guys drove my car in to get started, but a few minutes later I was told it would be $120, allegedly due to being "more complicated to do correctly". Even after going back and forth and showing him our Yelp conversation, Richard did not agree to honoring the quoted price and instead suggested meeting in the middle. Begrudgingly I agreed since I was short on time and was already there. Yes of course I could have just left but needed to get it done due to time constraints - fool me once, shame on you.... Even if an alignment on a 21 year old car was "more complicated", a knowledgeable shop should be aware of what cars would need more work, and a good business practice would be to honor your word to keep your reputation. Had he honored it, this review would be more favorable. Truly, I wanted to like this shop but based on the pricing discrepancy I cannot in good faith recommend it to my family, friends, and fellow yelpers. If you do choose to come here, beware of this scam-like behavior of bait & switch pricing. If they want to charge customers more, then they should raise their rates. I hope the owner reflects on my experience and that the extra $20 went to a worthy cause. read more

My cars TPMS sensor started to act funky so I looked around for a shop to get some quotes. I was able to quickly get a quote via Yelp and the price was very reasonably. Coordinating time to come in was easy as well. I dropped my car off and it took a little over an hour for all four my sensors to get changed. Keep in mind, it was a busy Saturday morning and I also wasn't in a rush as I was getting brunch nearby but was happy with the quick turnaround. I had the TPMS sensors replaced in our company car. I communicated with the shop here on yelp. Great communication from the shop. The TPMS replacement was only 30 min and I was out the door! I would have given the shop 5 stars if they would have checked the PSI on each tire after the replacement of the sensors. Once I drove away I noticed the tires were all very low. I had to go to the gas station to put air in all of the tires to be at the recommended PSI. But I would definitely recommend them to friends and family! Thanks guys! read more

incredible. 10 minutes in and out. Get a quote through Yelp. He gave me a 10$ discount over the normal walk up price. 2 advanta tires. Not BF Goodrich. But car has 250k miles on it. Can't buy tires from Costco anymore. The benefit up to now has been the lack of high pressure sales tactics from Costco to pad the profit. Wheel works before their acquisition was great at this. Dealers are good at this. Come in for tires and walk out with an alignment and tires. Never mind most of those alignments weren't really necessary. Problem is the lack of service from Costco tires. Can't get a tire rotation or flat fixed there. There is always a multi hour wait for tires. Costco deliberately does this because they make money when people shop there. The current tires were put on in 2014 from costco. replaced 2 from Morin after yelp messages. Chose costco many years ago because of the high pressure sales tactics from wheel works; warranty, road hazard, dump fees, etc. Too much. Hard to tell what is true and what is a lie. WW keeps on trying to expand sales with brake jobs, alignments, even when they aren't necessary. They can tell if you are unsure if your car needs it and if they sense it they are extra aggressive in their sales tactics. Refined to a fine art. Morin repairs flats does rotation without wait. No additonal tax or fees get a price quote on yelp. They take cc 150$ out the door for 2 advanta tires. Costco was 280 for bf goodrich. Have to make a decision if the brand difference is worth another 130$. If driven in CA in good weather with no snow then don't think you will ever see the difference. Costco can't justify a 1k share stock price if they sell tires at market price. read more

This place is legit. I did a request for tires in Yelp and they replied in minutes with a set price which was lower than everyone else. I schedule an appointment and came the next day. It took them 30 minutes to get me in and out. Normally I wait over an hour and a half to get tires changed. I got a set of 4 tires for $360 flat. This will be my new Togo tire place. The bigger name places always add all these fees and hidden cost. Never again. read more

These guys are good people. I brought a tire in that I thought had a slow leek and they checked it and refused to take payment or even an alternative form of payment I tried to give the guy. I have 4 teenagers and we have a lot of cars. They have repeatedly hooked me up with good deals on slightly used tires or cost effective tires for my kids vehicles to keep them on the road. Every time I have been there, they have been honest and fair. I live near Good Samaritan hospital, but still drive there because I am always treated fairly. read more
