Used Yelp to get a quote on two new front tires for my little commuter car. Don't need fancy, just ones that roll and have tread. Richard quoted a great price for tires and install. Way cheaper then the big tire places. Few days later I dropped in and the team got to work after I confirmed the quote. Pretty much like a pit crew here. The tires were off and new one being mounted in no time. I took the opportunity to look at the suspension of my car while the wheels were off, yeah I might need a new strut at some point. If Morin Tires can do it, then I'll probably go there as well. Will be taking my sons car in for a tire rotation and to fix his TPMS sensors. I originally went in to get my tires rotated at 12:13 PM, as I had 35k miles and never had them rotated before, and was recommended to do so. Richard kindly explained to me that my tires were very worn out, and suggested I get them all changed. He was transparent and said that for my Tesla Model 3, it would be $110 per tire ($440 total), and that it would take about 30 minutes. The staff worked very quickly, and Richard explained the terms of their warranty. He also recommended the intervals of which I should get my tires rotated, for $35 each time I went to get them done. I was able to pay and drive back home at 12:35 PM. I was very appreciative of everyone's honesty and transparency. I will be coming back! read more

Regrettably, it gives me no pleasure to rate a small business owner so low. I'm a supporter of local owned shops and always strive to give them my business. After initially reading glowing reviews I first messaged Richard of Morin Tires a week before showing up for an alignment. I specifically asked for a full alignment quote for my vehicle make and model (screenshotted) and he quoted me a full 4 wheel alignment for $80. I showed up around noon the week after, and I was friendly greeted, so I was expecting a great experience based on all the positive reviews. One of the guys drove my car in to get started, but a few minutes later I was told it would be $120, allegedly due to being "more complicated to do correctly". Even after going back and forth and showing him our Yelp conversation, Richard did not agree to honoring the quoted price and instead suggested meeting in the middle. Begrudgingly I agreed since I was short on time and was already there. Yes of course I could have just left but needed to get it done due to time constraints - fool me once, shame on you.... Even if an alignment on a 21 year old car was "more complicated", a knowledgeable shop should be aware of what cars would need more work, and a good business practice would be to honor your word to keep your reputation. Had he honored it, this review would be more favorable. Truly, I wanted to like this shop but based on the pricing discrepancy I cannot in good faith recommend it to my family, friends, and fellow yelpers. If you do choose to come here, beware of this scam-like behavior of bait & switch pricing. If they want to charge customers more, then they should raise their rates. I hope the owner reflects on my experience and that the extra $20 went to a worthy cause. read more
