No one at the guard shack so we went in to find out how to use this place. Greeted by a guy who complained we didn't stop at the shack with no one there . After that we parked and got on a shuttle with a friendly shuttle driver so this was fine after we got on the bus. They have our keys and hopefully we get back easily to our car. If so I will give it another star. Gave it another star as they picked up nicely late at night and so glad they are open 24 hours a day! read more

Left my vehicle in their possession for 6 days Total charge was $58 Way cheaper than parking at the airport I had to download their app and make reservations for me to park there Making the reservation was easy and seamless I pulled up, they asked me for my car keys I was kinda hesitant to leave the keys with them since other people in my traveling group didn't..... but it all turned out ok Upon my return I tried to order a shuttle (on the app) for pick up at the airport but I wasn't able to. I kept getting an error msg and so did other people in my traveling group SO I called them directly to get picked up I was told to call back when we have our luggage .... So I did and then I was told to walk to bus station #8 Waited about 15 min to get picked up...... I followed the directions on the ticket that says to call them with your ticket # upon your arrival but I was told to tell the driver my ticket number .... Kinda confusing.... This was very confusing. You pull into this parking lot and it's immediately scary. Am I really leaving my car here? It looks disorganized and very sketchy. I pre paid and the guy showed me where to park. I walked back to the booth handed my keys, got my ticket. Within 5 minutes I was on a shuttle to the airport. Coming back late at night I was thinking this is gonna be a disaster. But it wasn't. Jumped right on shuttle . Got my car gave him my ticket and left. Good job but still sketchy. read more

Even more troubling news, after trying to sue the parking lot for damages to my car, I find out the underlying owner of the property is the city of San Jose. So the city has ground leased the property to a bunch of crooks who damage your car and take no responsibility for your car other than charge you some low fee and then not care what they do to your car while it's in there possession, that's why they take your keys so they can drive your car, sleep in your car and then smash it in there lot and conveniently lose the video footage when you demand it, never park your car here!!!! read more

This was our second time within the last few months using Joy Park and we thought we had probably left sweets in the car the first time, but today as my family got into the car it was infested by ants and I mean infested!! We had an unfortunate incident in the parking lot here when we left our car. As a result the owners took the initiative to add security and fencing and have committed to making this a more secure lot. Because of this promise we will come back here to park. But what really is important is how they resolved the situation. They were incredibly apologetic. They said they would pay for the damages, refunded the parking, paid for our shuttle, AND sent a lovely card with a very generous gift to my son who was the one who had to deal with everything. They didn't have to do anything beyond the damage, but it was important to them to make it all right. 5 stars on the way they handled it, but gotta take away 1 for the incident in the first place. I have three priorities when looking for off-airport parking: 1) They are quick to take me to the airport 2) They have notably better pricing than on-airport parking 3) I get my car back in the same shape I left it in Joy Park wins on all 3. They have become my go-to for longterm parking when I travel from San Jose airport. I don't have trouble making my flights because the process of dropping off the car and getting to the airport is quick. I don't park it -- they do. I just drop it and walk to the shuttle. Then the shuttle doesn't wait forever to fill up. It just gets a few and goes. So quick and easy. One bit of counsel -- reserve your spot on-line. Don't know if / how often they fill up, but it's nice to know you have a spot waiting for you when you are prepping for your trip. Their pricing is good. Particularly when I'm travelling for a week (my normal business travels) it makes a difference. For one day I might park on-airport, but for 4-6 days there's just too much to be saved. I've never had any problems with my car's condition when I return. Here I don't just mean that my car hasn't been wrecked, but not a scratch or smudge of dirt or anything. At least so far, it's just as if I parked at home (actually it's better, as the tree in my front yard can cause a mess on my car if I park in the driveway). The current management and name have replaced a prior parking service. I had used the prior service in this same location, and find the service is as good under the Joy Park label, so I am happy to give them my business. read more

Finding adequate parking for the airport can be difficult especially if you have to travel at the last minute. I was able to book the parking here online through a 3rd party website which offered a much more affordable rate. We ended up staying a day longer and was charged the same day rate as our online reservation. There was a shuttle leaving as soon as we parked our vehicle. The staff was nice and handled our bags with care. Upon returning, we made a quick phone call and the shuttle was there within minutes to take us to our vehicle. My vehicle did not sustain any damages during its week-long stay at this lot. If you're ever in need of parking near San Jose airport, I suggest that you give these guys a try. Fairly good price. Prompt and efficient. Shuttle service comes fairly frequently. They take your keys here bc they might move/relocate your car. My only gripe is the ticket. It's confusing. It says text this if you are in terminal a, text that if you are in terminal b, and call this number. I parked at the Holiday Inn Lot reserved on SpotHero, and apparenly it's operated by JoyPark Fly. Never park your car here. On dropoff everything seemed normal enough, it's self-service and no frills, as described the parking shuttle pulls around and grabs you, it's literally a minute and a half ride to the airport. HOWEVER, upon landing (at 1030AM on a Tuesday) I called the shuttle and the driver told me to meet him at Spot 11. I walked out there and waited 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 minutes and finally a Joypark Fly shuttle pulls around. I get on board and the driver takes me to a completely different location on 4th street. I ask if there are any other stops and he says no this is it. I call the original shuttle number and explain to the guy I'm in front of the Joypark lot and he keeps repeating "Spot 11" "Spot 11" when I'm trying to describe to him where I am so I decided to cut my losses and walk over a mile to where my car is actually parked. Upon returning I looked at the SpotHero app and of course, it says it's operated by Joy Parkfly. read more

The service part of my experience was good no problems there, where I take issue is my car was rummaged through by the employees, I know this because my glove box is usually locked and I found it unlocked. Unfortunately I need to skip this business that lacks customer service and follow up. I recently had to cut a trip short for a family emergency and requested a partial refund. I was able to contact Daniel, the very nice parking manager, who told me he could execute this but I needed to start with Airport Parking Reservations, the booking agent, first and if they would not issue refund then Joy Park Fly would. For whatever policy reason the booking agent who already made their service fees denied request for refund. Subsequent follow up with Joy Parkhas been crickets. Text messages not returned; voice mails not answered. Daniel's number goes straight to voicemail of another person. When I contacted the lot they said it was his number too and he would be in in two days More crickets.... Too hard to run the gauntlet , when it's clear they're not interested in keeping their word Don't need to continue to be dissed when there are lots of other options Too bad ! The only snag with them over several years was when my parking was extended by a day due to weather. I thought the one-day surcharge was expensive. The price is reasonable compared to other airport parking. When we got there early morning 4:30 am, the check in was fast. After parking our car to the nearest spot, a van waited at the gate to take us to the airport. I thought it was a self-parking but surprisingly we had to hand over our key to the attendance. To be cautious, I locked my glove compartment. On the way back, I did not read the ticket which gave us clear information on how to request the pickup. I called the number and was instructed to wait at booth 8 for the shuttle. Within 5-10 minutes we were picked up. The driver helped to load our luggage both times. When we got to the parking lot, we handed our ticket to the attendant and he gave us back our key and pointed to our car near the gate. The car is ok. read more

It's cheap enough parking, and the shuttle was at the airport when I got out of the terminal. When I got to my car, ants were crawling all over the inside of my car. Hundreds of ants. If you park here, bring ant spray and spray your car inside and around the tires before you go to the terminal. And for heaven's sake, tip your shuttle driver. Won't be using them again. Not sure if they are understaffed or not but our afternoon pickup from San Jose Airport was a mess and took over 40 minutes to finally get a shuttle that could take my family of four back to pick up our car. Every shuttle that stopped was already full so the driver promised all of us waiting another would come soon.. it did but that one was full also. After 30 minutes about 20 people were waiting with no type of line or courtesy to those that had been there first to board the shuttle. Very frustrating after a long flight. I love this park n fly long term parking when I fly out of SJC. They are 1. Very affordable. 2. Regular drop off and pick ups almost every 20minutes(I do not need to wait long, coming or going) 3. After reading the reviews I was skeptical and worried. I usually fly out of Oakland where you drive your call into the parking lot spot and take your key. But this location is valet and takes your key. So, I was surprised by it but had no option to change after making reservation and arriving at like 5AM. Went with it, but after a week long parking, the car was fine and nothing was stolen or lost. The wait for shuttle did take about 25-30 minutes after calling. read more

We had a great first experience with Joy Park Fly, both ends of our journey. It was easy to find and park, the shuttle wait to get to the airport for our outbound flight was less than 10 minutes. On the inbound flight, we were picked up at San Jose airport less than 10 minutes from our call. When we got home, I received a call at 10pm from Henry (thank you Henry) that they had found my wallet with credit card and driver's license in the shuttle. How cool is that?! THEY LOST MY SUITCASE!!!! How in THE WORLD did they manage to lose my large suitcase is BEYOND me. The driver said the latch of his door didn't close well and my suitcase must have fallen out along with the luggage of two other passengers! I used this service from Thursday to Monday. I dropped off my car at around 5PM and I left my key with them. Drop off shuttle left within 5 minutes of me arriving. On Monday I called to be picked up and it took 13 minutes to get picked up from the airport. Overall great experience and would recommend. I would keep note that they do keep your key. If you have valuable items in your car you should probably use a service in which you keep your key. Nothing was taken from my vehicle but that is something to keep in mind. be forewarned. I have used them for years. I parked my new Tesla there two weeks ag and they valet parked it. I got an alarm on vacation and called them. I could see them standing near my car. They said it was nothing. when I got home there was a large dent and I have the video footage showing them hit my car and damaging it. I have called twice and left a message for the manager. No return calls. so now, because I have the footage on video, I have turned over to my insurance company and they are filing a hit and run.
