We've had them taking care of our cats for two times (one time for 4-day and other time for 15 days), both times they're super patient and friendly, takes a lot of photos, and even do extra (bring in packages, water my plants, vacuum the floor around litter box, etc.) And they pay extra visits just to pick up and drop the keys. I've had several other cat sitters before but none is this professional and caring. Also they're very easy to communicate with, fast to respond, and responsible. 10/10 recommend!! read more

I just wanted to publicly thank Ryoko and Matt for coming over for an initial consult with Junie, our newly adopted rescue. They were so patient and kind with her, despite the fact she never stopped barking. We've only had her for a week, but speaking with Ryoko it became clear that our 14.5 year old rescue is still traumatized from her years being passed from one house to another and that she likely thought they were here to take her away again. If only I could give more than 5 stars to the wonderful, caring people at Joy Pet Club... They have been an absolute godsend!!! We've had Ryoko, Matt, and Val help us over the years with walks, pet sitting and house sitting. It's been an amazingly great experience every single time! They are so caring, experienced, detail-oriented, flexible, and just overall great people, and we are so grateful that we get to work with them. Our most recent experience was when we had to go out of the country to visit my family for over 3 weeks. Our trip was initially scheduled for November of 2021, but due to Covid restrictions and our dog becoming ill, it had to be cancelled/rescheduled multiple times until March of 2022 when we were finally able to go. It was a stressful and sometimes heart-wrenching experience for us, but Ryoko and Matt were very understanding through and through, and when our plans finally came together, they were ready for us and went above and beyond to make sure our senior dog with so many medical issues was well taken care of with no problem. Matt stayed at our house to dog sit and house sit, and Ryoko came to the house multiple times a day to walk our dog and keep his company. They'd regularly send us photos and videos and give us updates, which I thoroughly enjoyed! Their love for animals, expertise and care gave us the peace of mind we needed in order to really enjoy the visit with family whom we hadn't been able to see for nearly 3 years. Ryoko and Matt not only helped us and our dog, but our entire family. Now that we're back from the trip and our dog doesn't see Ryoko and Matt, he seems to really miss them! And I can totally understand that, because Ryoko and Matt have been so good to him. Matt also left the house absolutely impeccable, all garbage/poop cleaned up, the mail taken in, and our neighbors were all impressed how diligent he was about walking our dog every single day. Ryoko san is amazing as a person and care taker of animals. She is Japanese lady who committed to work for the one of major airline companies for long time, through her experience I bet she developed combination of disciplinary, very good service but also fun, easy going and very caring for people and animals. I've asked for her service twice for now from this April, we are super satisfied with her service, professionalism and personality. Our cat has been abandoned twice before I adopted him, he's very friendly but at the same time prickly about person whom he trust or not. We just came back from our trip, our cat showed the affection and " I trust you " gesture to Ryoko san when she came to give back our key and we make payment to her which our cat never showed to anyone but to me and my partner :) I was very surprised but at the same time I am sure now whenever we are on trip, we can ask for Ryoko san help when she's available. I worried a lot before we went to trip as our cat miss me a lot like lost appetite when my partner took care of our cat by himself. Our cat looks and behaved much healthier when Ryoko san took care of our cat...its amazing ! She also notify the water leak from kitchen sink while we were on trip !!! It's not her obligation to notify or do her best for the situation( I won't write the detail as don't want people take advantage of her good will and kindness), but she did. We always call Ryoko when we are out of town and need someone to look after our cat (Phantom). Ryoko is a consummate professional, making sure she knows all the important details regarding our cat (e.g. Phantom's vet, her likes, dislikes, and eating habits) and visiting our home before we left to meet us and get acquainted with Phantom. When we were out of town, Ryoko would visit our home once a day to spend time with Phantom and make sure she was fed. She would send us daily pictures and videos of Phantom. Ryoko and Matt came to our house for an initial consultation and to survey the house/backyard to know how they would provide our little guy with a safe place for exercise until his vaccines were administered. Since then our little puppy has turned 1 and has been having walks with Matt everyday. My husband and I feel so comfortable leaving the house during the workday because we trust that Matt treats our puppy so well. She has always been extremely responsive and willing to help us out even if we call her on pretty short notice. I really can't say enough about how amazing Ryoko and Val have been with our dog. Since day one, we knew we picked the right folks to let into our home and take our dog for his much needed walk in the afternoon. They're always on time, super responsive, amazingly flexible (even when it's our fault), and most importantly--they care for our dog like he's their own. Everyday in the afternoon, Val sent me a text on time with a cute caption and picture of our dog. Usually that's the highlight of my day. With our relationship, I feel like they're an extension of our family. You just can't put a price on love, trust and experience, which they both have. Matt of JPC is a very experienced and caring dog walker and pet sitter. I had been looking for someone to stay with my three dogs when I traveled and he has proven to be the best I could hope for! He has stayed at my home multiple times, walking the dogs twice daily, feeding them and providing loving companionship. He has also picked up my mail, keeping the yard pet waste free, and just generally taking care of whatever needed to be done. We are so sorry to say good bye to Ryoko as we have left California. She has been a God sent in the way that she went above and beyond any call of duty as a dog waker. She took care of our dog for the past two and half years on a daily basis with the exception of the weekends. She helped us puppy train our dog, which was quite the process.Our dog adores her, so much so that we are making a trip back to the bay area in September to see her and her dogs. She has been so proactive any time when our dog was sick, even taking him to the emergency clinic or offering to go to the vet etc. She was great about making suggestions when he got sick and comforting to know that she cared so much. Every day she reported any changes in behavior, sent awesome pictures and make sure that he met lots of dogs in our near by park. She even took him to new locations to change things up. I would say it's like having a family member walk your pet - but it's really better than that. Top-notch pet care! We are so lucky to have found Ryoko at Joy Pet Club - the best pet sitter we have found in the area, hands down. We have a cat who is getting older and now requires twice-daily medicine, so going out of town for a longer period of time can be a challenge. Ryoko handled this no problem and we loved that she sends daily texts and videos of our cat so we always know how our little family member is doing. Extremely trustworthy, she often goes above and beyond (for example, on one occasion, our cat had a litter box "accident" and didn't make it in time; Ryoko even replaced our litter box mat free of charge!). We just had out 1st experience using Joy Pet Club's services. We have a Pomeranian & also several cats. The cats are strictly indoor & our biggest fear is that they will somehow get out while the front door is being opened/closed, as they are curious creatures. Erika Talbot is the team member who provided pet sitting for us over the last few days while we were out of town. She did an excellent job & helped put our mind at ease, as she was very conscious of keeping an eye out while going in & out of the house.
