I have also never once seen the general manager, Jay, step out to help when Nayeli was overwhelmed at the front desk. She consistently handled the situation herself and did an excellent job. Nayeli was a strong asset to this team, and I am deeply disappointed by the decision to let her go. I think I speak for many of the regular clients at WAG when I say that losing her is a real disappointment. If her "availability issues" were related to the fact that she is young and attending school, that is especially unfortunate. Being a student shouldn't erase the value of an employee who works hard, treats clients with kindness, and clearly cares about the people and pets coming through the door. We're truly going to miss talking with her, not just about check-ins and check-outs, but about cars, dogs, vacations, and even venting about a rough day.
