He came right out and walked my order to my car and was so pleasant and personable. He shared with me his family's story about how these bite sized, individual pies came to be, and how him and his family take great pride in these pies and the family recipe. The fruit tart was just a great balance of fruit flavor with the custard. The heavenly chocolate with Andes mints is a fantastic one to try as it's a seasonal one, but perfect for the holiday season. All gelatos were a bit harder than ice creams, which is no surprise given they have less cream/fat in them. I am sure if left at room temperature for five or ten minutes (as you are supposed to do for all frozen treats), they would be perfect consistency, but I never have the restraint to wait that long. We bought everything in pint ($5.50) or quart size ($7.50), but you know those long rectangular containers seen at gelateria's? YOU CAN BUY A WHOLE ONE FROM BON BON ($30)!
