Professional, kind, and skilled, she went above and beyond to be helpful and was truly a lifesaver. From the moment I called and throughout our entire experience with them, we felt taken care of and cared for. Though my family member is feeling much better now and no longer needs care, we feel so lucky to have their number at hand if and when we should ever need them again. The aides were caught more than once sleeping on the hob during the day shift, they were late on many days and the aides kept nagging us to hire them outside of the service. The final straw came when an aide failed to arrive for her all day shift this past Wednesday. Then, the same evening, the aide arrived more than an hour later. We were paying them about $10,000 a month for aide services. Imagine the "care" one would get from them if we were a smaller client.

A physical therapist was brought in to provide needed attention to muscular lack of use and range of motion issues. These 3 people have had a tremendous positive impact in the few weeks they have been of service. Ongoing interaction with the primary care physician (PCP) and interfacing with other medical providers is a continuing function. My son's support coordinator contacted Assured for respite care for my adult son who is autistic…read more The care was for one day so that I could have an urgent medical procedure I was told to contact Assured and I spoke to the contact person. She asked me to call her the next morning. This was on a Monday and my procedure was scheduled for Thursday. I did call her the following morning and she said she would call me later in the day She did not call me even though she knew I wanted to schedule a time on Wednesday for the caretaker to make a home visit and meet my son so I would not have to leave him in the care of a stranger By 630 am Wednesday morning I was 24 hours away from my scheduled procedure and emailed the support coordinator that I could no.longet longer wait to be contacted by Assured and had made other arrangements. At 3:25 pm that day I was contacted by Assured from the parking lot of my building for a home visit that had never been scheduled and that I was no longer available for. The woman from the agency raised her voice to me and was argumentative but still expected to be let into my home. It was a traumatic experience for me just 24 hours before my procedure and a heartless way to be treated. I had to give this review a star in order for it to be posted but what they really deserve is a giant X.
