One of the shades in the dining area began to fray at one edge. I called to report, and a tech came out. His solution was to burn off the frayed fabric with a lighter. He said if it happens again (which of course it did) to call and he would come out and check the roller. When I called, the receptionist who answered said I would be charged to send someone out. I asked for a supervisor. Jessica called me back and said this issue wasn't covered by the warranty. Total Blinds made a substantial profit from my order. Jessica said perhaps we were using that shade more than the one next to it. That wasn't the case. Even if that were true, the fraying shouldn't have happen ed if the shade was a quality product. Total Blinds and Jessica were a big disappointment! Don't waste your money if you want quality and a company who actually honors a lifetime warranty as advertised!

After waiting for over 8 months for them, the shutters arrived defective and did not open and close properly. The owner of the manufacturing company (from China) even came to my house and verified they were defective. Everyone agreed and promised us a refund. To make a long story short, Robin the owner of All about Blinds refused to refund our money. She said she "didn't have it and wasn't responsible". Since our agreement was with the designer, Robin argued that we needed to have our designer refund us, not All about Blinds. Our designer refused to give us a refund because she said that she had not been paid from All about Blinds. We finally had to hire an attorney in order to get our money back. It was not an experience I would want anyone else to go through. Bottom line, stay away from All about Blinds! It was the worst customer service and worst experience I have ever had with a company here in Albuquerque. From what Robin (the owner) told us during the ordeal, she was broke and going out of business. Now I see she has reopened in another location, which why I am writing this review. I want to warn others that there are many other and much better options for purchasing window coverings. Eventually we did replace our shutters. Bill at Window Fashions was excellent, and now my shutters are beautiful. Bill has also been to my house many times to follow up and make sure that everything is as it should be. It's been 4 years now and I am still thrilled with the shutters I got from Window Fashions. All About Blinds was a huge mistake.
