My sales associate helped me find the right rack to choose from, and held the dresses up for me so I could see how they would fit once altered. I was able to pay half up front and half when the dress arrived, which Is a very thoughtful business practice that worked out super well for me. I wound up moving out of state after ordering the dress, so I gave them a call to see if they would be able to ship it to me. I paid the second half of the cost over the phone and the day they got it in store they put it back in the mail and immediately shipped it to me. I am grateful for their flexibility and thoughtful practices, + the interior of the shop is very beautiful and well kept. (I picked the strapless one ;)

My dress pickup was unfortunately not the dream moment I had hoped it would be. I almost had a panic attack. The shop apologized and was able to locate and switch it out for my actual dress, so I understand that mistakes happen. What was much more concerning to me was the sizing and fit of the dress. My bust measurement was 34" at the time of purchase, but the dress size I received had a 40" bust in a corseted top. I understand that my dress was ordered in a larger size to accommodate my hips, but I was never informed that this would mean having such a significant difference in the bust or that it could be extremely difficult to alter. I ended up taking the dress to my seamstress multiple times to get it to fit properly. While we were eventually able to make it work, the cups and corset were still larger than I ideally would have wanted, and it was a stressful and expensive process during an already stressful time. My biggest takeaway for other brides is to be sure to thoroughly discuss sizing and alterations with the bridal shop before placing your order. If your measurements require sizing up for one area of the dress, ask how that will affect the fit in other areas.. especially with structured or corseted dresses that may be difficult to alter. I wish this had been explained to me upfront. I ended up having my seamstress add capped sleeves and a custom veil- overall the look came together but the experience overall was kind of like a rollercoaster.

Leelu was spectacular at listening to my friend's needs and studying her inspo pics. This was our very first time seeing her in a dress and we were all shocked that throughout the 90 minute appointment my friend was gravitating towards a white dress. Leelu did a fantastic job at letting us make requests. The two requests that our group had was to see my friend in a mermaid gown, which is a childhood dream of hers, and with a veil. We learned that although my best friend has the body of a goddess and looks good in anything, that that was not her preferred shape. We were fortunate enough to find a dress that made my friend happy. Leelu also talked us through the ordering process, shipping, and how to add black appliqué to give it a bit of that spooky vibe that my friend was going for. The shop has seamstresses they can refer you to as well as it is not a service offered in house. We did not purchase the day of as my friend needs to have some conversations with her dad just to make sure that it is within the budget he had in mind. She was never super friendly during our visits, even forgetting that we had an appointment once or twice. She was pretty cold when I brought my mom and mother in law in.. not very fun during a very exciting time. The most important thing... the dress never had much done to it whenever I had an appointment! She would literally start sowing on it when I'd come in and made very simple and sometimes careless details that I had to ask to have redone with more care. The worst thing, the day of picking up the dress, she was not done with it, finishing it in front of me. She DID NOT FINISH THE SEAMS UNDER MY DRESS. It was literally tattered seams underneath and I had a train, so if it flipped over, it was tattered shreds. She said this was normal, to preserve the soft look on the outside. I took it to two seamstresses afterward and no one said this was normal or acceptable. But we had no time to fix it before the wedding so I wore it anyway. During my wedding I felt self conscious and worried that my dress would show the tatters or would fall apart... as I had jeweled straps and the jewels were very lose. I had to donate my dress afterward because it was just falling apart... and they would only accept the dress because they could use the fabric to practice on lol, they couldn't even fix it to be worn again. Sorry ladies, don't let this happen to you. Get the dress and the experience you deserve, somewhere professional.

I contacted Terri and went to her studio in her house in NE Portland. Let's just say that the woman is AMAZINGLY talented. She went to Parsons School of Design in LA and her abilities are incredible. We sat down and discussed different dresses and styles, fabrics and details. She brought out fabric samples and talked about the pros and cons of each. The experience was incredibly fun...we built a dress that was exactly what I had wanted on all fronts (fabric, shape, detail). Her work was incredibly gorgeous AND the cost of the dress when all was said and done was cheaper than any of the dresses I had tried on in the shops. She kept bringing in lots of options, we were able to create my dream dress!! My dress came in a week later than was expected. I scheduled a dress alteration appointment with Feri at the same boutique. I came into my fitting and was told my extra fabric for sleeves that I ordered with the dress had been forgotten to be added in with the dress order and would only arrive the following week. During that appointment we talked about the sleeves I wanted and Feri took some extra fabric she had and made an example of the sleeves I wanted. She didn't pin anything or make any notes but told me to come in the following week and my dress sleeves would be made and we can alter if needed. The next Tuesday I get a half day off from work and drive over to lake Oswego which is 50 mins from my house to find out my appointment wasn't actually scheduled, Feri accidentally scheduled a different girl and made her dress instead of mine. Mistakes happen and I totally understood that and we rescheduled to the soonest appointment she had which was Saturday a week before my wedding. During that appointment she quickly had me try on my dress because she said her next client is coming in soon. She asked me what sleeves I wanted which was kinda weird because we talked about sleeves the previous appointment and I would assume she wouldn't forget because she was supposed to have them done for this appointment but I thought she must have forgotten so I showed her the sleeves I wanted with the extra fabric that came in already. She told me it was going to be hard to make those type of sleeves and showed me some other options we could do that would be less work since my wedding was so soon. I told her that I wanted the original sleeves I showed her last appointment and she continued to tell me that she wouldn't be able to create that look for me which during the appointment before she stated that was very possible. She kept pushing me to choose a sleeve because her next client was already waiting.. I didn't want to settle on sleeves I didn't want so I told her I can take the dress home and try to talk it over with my mom ( my mom does some basic sewing) and come back Saturday at 1pm for my appointment. Saturday morning at 11 I get a message from Feri stating that she's going home from the boutique and that she assumes I am not coming to my appointment. I assumed maybe she thought my appointment was at 11 and I didn't show up so she was going home. I texted her back and said my appointment is at 1pm to which she replied she wasn't going to attempt my wedding dress and she already wasted 3 appointments on me and didn't figure anything out therefore she's going home and won't be there when I come in at 1pm for my appointment as scheduled . I was very frustrated.. I ended up emailing Katie the owner of the shop of what happened to which she stated she will talk to Feri but I still never got any news back from her. Feri did message me saying to not to email katie. It's a week before my wedding and no bride should go through this ever.. I feel like I am a very understanding person and it sucks that this situation happened but this should have been dealt with in a different manner. Id appreciated if she tried to get me in sooner and actually attempted to figure out my sleeves since it was her mistake of scheduling my appointment wrong in the first place and finishing another girls dress when my dress was supposed to be finished instead..
