Not A Great Experience - Does Not Answer Phone or Return Phone Calls Car needed Turbo replacement, fair price was quoted after initial diagnostic of $120.... Issue was in the process thereafter. It was like pulling teeth to get anyone on the phone, as it is JP's direct Cellphone and he does not answer it frequently or return phone calls (or at least my calls). I only called once a week to figure out an update, as I know the shop is extremely busy. First part ordered took about 2 weeks before it came in broken or with an issue. Replacement part took about the same amount of time, unfortunately, as Hurricane Beryl swept through the area, it caused some disruptions in shipping. However it took me going to the shop down the road to find out any updates on the replacement. After visiting the shop on a Wednesday, he notified me that the part would be coming in on that Friday. Fast forward to me following up on Tuesday, in which he didn't answer my phone call, but my wife had to call and find out that the wrong part had been shipped and received on Friday. Simply a phone call back explaining that would have helped immensely Once at the shop to pickup my car and take it somewhere else, he let me know that the new part would have come in later in the day if I had not cancelled. Not sure if it was true or just him covering for himself. Either way not a great experience trying to get about $2000 dollars worth of work done to my Audi A3.... which was cheaper than other shops. Just overall terrible experience during the 5-6 week debacle was not worth the headache read more

One again Jp and his team delivered, 2017 GLE350 A/C compressor was bad. JP did some test to make you it was the a/c compressor and not low in refrigerant after few minutes later he confirmed that I had a bad a/c compressor. JP is a consummate professional. The location is peculiar but the service is exactly what a car owner is looking for. JP worked in high end dealerships until he was able to open his own place. I've been there to service my MB. In a bad decision I took my car to another place in Pearland that is a quick fix chain for an oil change. They left the oil cap off unknown to me. I left and my car was smoking from every crevice. I thought I might ignite on my way back to the shop. My engine which had been babied prior to this was now covered with oil. Their solution was to pressure wash my engine which has all but ruined it. JP is repairing it one piece at a time. He is knowledgeable. His prices are more than fair. Service is quick. Quick Nutshell Version: Superior service and Quality work on my 2008 Volvo S40 with 160+K miles. Great turn around time. Thoughtful follow-up after car left the shop. I am a female and didn't leave wondering if I had been ripped off or had unnecessary work done. I am now a loyal customer. Detailed Version: JP (Mr. Jorge Perez) was highly recommended to me by another satisfied client. I have a 2008 Volvo S40 and needed an oil change and general maintenance work to make sure my car was ship-shape; also, my car was making a loud clunking noise when I turned the wheel; came to an abrupt stop or accelerated quickly from a dead stop. I took the car into JP's about 15 minutes after they opened (0815) without an appointment; was able to be worked in that morning and had the car back that afternoon around 3:30 p.m. Here's the good stuff: as I lived nearby, Mr. Perez offered to drop me back off at my house as a courtesy (wow! I thought that was such a huge perk. I had arranged a ride so didn't take him up on that initially); Mr Perez completed a thorough search for the clunking noise and let me know my options for service - he ordered the necessary parts and we arranged to have the car brought back for the final repair; the price of my oil change (fluid top off, air filter change, General look over) was very reasonable at $120. When I brought the car back for the final repair of the clunking noise, Mr. Perez was obliging and dropped me at my house (again, I live nearby but it's not a safe walk with all the crazy masses of mosquitos!!) and picked me up from my house when the car was finished. I cannot explain what the issue was (sorry!) because I know very little about cars but the noise had disappeared and my car actually drove amazingly better on the freeway than it had before. The cost of the parts and labor for the "fix" was around $300. Again, I consider this very reasonable as my car is running better than it ever has and he fixed the issue in a timely and cost efficient manner. I'm taking my car back for some minor body work in the next week. What pleasantly surprised me the most was that about 24 hours later, Mr Perez contacted me to ask if I was hearing the clunking sound and to ensure everything with the car was satisfactory...I have never had a mechanic contact after I left to ask these questions or even follow-up. Again, my car is running better than ever, JP is affordable; the work is high quality; and there's actual follow-up. Mr Perez is great at what he does and actually cares about the quality of his work. I am not going anywhere else! Other side perks: Mr. Perez is bilingual (English and Spanish) and very nice. read more

Friendly, knowledgeable, got me out with a bill that was about a third of what BMW quoted me. He was flexible with my super late at night drop off time, did the work in one day and gave me a text the next day to make sure my car was running ok. I recently took my VW Tiguan to JP with an unknown problem (it was the valves). I was all but positive my car was totaled because it was running so poorly. JP worked miracles though AND worked with my budget! My car is now running as good as new, at an incredibly reasonable price, and on a payment plan that I can handle! I took my VW CC to JP when it sounded like a creaking noise was coming from my tire rod. I only had one previous mechanical issue, an oil leak, and when i took it to gas station mechanics, it took 3 attempts and $600 to figure out where the oil leak was coming from. JP is a master VW technician, and he quickly figured out the creaking was a strut mount bearing. He's excellent at diagnosing a problem and honest. Hard to find a great mechanic like this, but I'm glad I found JP. read more
