Just great and shout out to our waiter #the goat and the food was great it was so nice to looked liked I was in china

Food was good, we had the tuna tartar app and it was delicious, we also ordered three rolls which were good good but very sauce heavy. If we come back here I am going to ask to go light on the sauce, it was almost like you couldn't taste the rolls just the sauces. Service was great and the vibe was very chill and laid back. Overall good experience

Has to stop by and check out the newest addition to the neighborhood! The food was delicious, especially the beef teriyaki and the spring roll. The service was very quick and server was super friendly. The decorations felt authentic and it was cozy. We will definitely be back!

Pretty good spot for sushi in Denver. Service was great - nice staff! They gave us complimentary edamame and tempura fried onion rings to start! Miso soup was yummy and the sushi boat was overall delish. Good prices too!

I was there to do a photo shoot, but I was so impressed with the interior and the staff and of course the intricately prepared sushi rolls and sushi boats are exquisite!

Tried this place the other day and enjoyed it! Rainbow roll was good and plated nicely. My friend got the bento box lunch special and it was big! Our waiter was also super friendly and helpful. Pretty neat ambiance inside. Priced better than a lot of sushi places in Denver which is a plus!

I consider myself to be a sushi aficionado. Fresh is the key word here. OMG - what an unexpected delight! We debated going in actually because the neighborhood and front presentation was not up to our standards- but so glad we did!! The blue fin was enough to blow your mind in freshness, then the yellowtail with a slice of jalapeño arrived with a yazu sauce that was so good my husband drank what was left. Each roll was so perfect and delicious- plus the seafood dynamite was to die for if you are wanting something cooked! And where can you get actual wasabi that not from a powdered mix? Our waiter was a North Carolina delight and made the whole meal fun. Totally recommend- our new fav stop!

Amazing sushi in a gorgeous, classical setting. Service was great, food was great, nothing to complain about except my stomach not being big enough to eat more.

delicious! great quality fish. friendly! the restaurant is decorated so cool! great neighborhood hang.

What a cute little place!!…read more It was late in the evening and I was getting hangry. I was craving ramen and Neko came up during my Yelp research. They were open late, so we decided to go. The restaurant was popping at 22:00 on a Friday. We were greeted warmly by staff. It was intriguing to us that we ordered via an iPad kiosk as if we were at a boba place, but we didn't mind. However, usually only to go orders are placed on a kiosk. In my hangry state of mind, I had not realized that Neko only serves their ramen with chicken broth, so for those of you who prefer tonkotsu broth, this isn't the place for you. For that reason, my husband had to order a chashu rice bowl instead. Personally, I enjoy both paitan and tonkotsu. I went with the black garlic ramen. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive. While we waited, we dispensed water for ourselves from the soda fountain. I was a little confused upon receiving my black garlic ramen, as I thought the black garlic oil would be more prominent. I was assured that I had the right bowl. My husband enjoyed his chashu rice bowl. I had a small bite and the pork was tender and well-seasoned. The paitan broth was very umami indeed. I would have liked to have more of a black garlic flavor, but it was still good. Next time I would just pay the extra $2 for more black garlic oil. The noodles were bouncy, and the chashu was tender. The egg was deliciously jammy (alas no photo because I devoured it). I saw they had soy sauce and hot sauce, but wish they had the classic chili powder so I could have added some to my ramen. Neko Ramen & Rice hit for late night noms, and the cat-themed decor all around (since Neko means cat in Japanese) was such a vibe. They also serve curry, poke, and various small bites if you want some apps to enjoy before your entrees. If you don't mind chicken broth for your ramen or will be ordering rice bowls instead, Neko is a fun little place to come dine at, especially since they open late.

It feels like you've stepped in somewhere completely outside Denver. The food is traditional Japanese country food and very much falls into the comfort food category. Nothing about it is trying to be fancy or overly elevated, and I honestly love that! It feels homey and approachable and is reasonably priced. I got the salmon and tuna sashimi donburi, which comes as a whole meal with pickled sides and soup. Everything was simple but satisfying! Service was pretty fast and the whole experience felt very relaxed. Domo is first come, first served, so you can put your name down and explore the space while you wait. I definitely want to come back and try some of their noodle dishes next. Also, take some time to read up on the history of Domo and the spaces surrounding it! The restaurant is connected to a much larger story involving Japanese culture, a dojo and a museum, which makes visiting feel like more than just going out to eat!

It looks small on the inside but once you go in, it's so big with an indoor dining space, a garden, and a museum. Definitely walk around when you're done with your meal. They took their time in building Domo. Every inch feels thoughtfully planned. The decor transports you to Japan. 10/10 on decor. The tables indoors are unique. The seats are uncomfortable. They're like tree stumps. No space to put your bag or back support. Service is friendly. Food comes out quickly. The dipping noodles were pretty good. We got the matcha soba and the soy milk. I think the soy milk could've used more umami flavoring but I enjoyed it. The karrage was kinda plain even with the sauce. This is a solid 3.5 but I'll round up because a portion of sales so go towards the charity that they do so it feels good to dine here. Considering the only other US location is in California, I was surprised and knew this would be my opportunity to try it! The aesthetic is modern & elevated with Japanese wooden features. I got 3 classic dishes which was just the right amount of food. I honestly recommend coming with a group to try more items since you know everything will be delicious. The Yellowtail Jalapeño is a signature dish; the yellowtail was delicate & buttery and the citrus soy with the bight of jalapeño made each bite clean, bright, with some subtle heat. I did not expect the Rock Shrimp Tempura to be that good! The shrimp was lightly battered & fried but the sauces were the highlights! Their creamy spicy is a very well-done spicy mayo but the butter ponzu was unreal! Super addictive, rich, and unlike any sauce I've had before. Shout out to my waitress for suggesting getting both sauces on the side rather than lathered on the shrimp, which also kept it crispy. Last but certainly not least is the famous Black Cod! The fish is super buttery and flaky; there were some caramelized edges from the miso glaze which added so much depth & richness to the bite. It's a good balance of sweetness, savoriness, umami that is bound to be good. All in all, so grateful I got to try what many call an institution and will certainly try more of chef Nobu's restaurants.

Some of courses were delicious and some were mediocre. We spent almost $700 for a party of four. The situation that needs the most improvement was the pace of the meal. The courses were separated by a 20-30-minute wait time. Considering that the courses were very small and contained 5-6 pieces for a party of four... that equates to a little more than a small bite every 20-30 minutes. The dinner took 2.5 hours to develop, and we were honestly still hungry by the end. The waiter started asking us if were "still hungry" at about the fifth courses. By the end, we felt awkward in asking for more. The wagyu beef was particularly disappointing as the beef was somewhat chewy, lacking taste and small. Waiters seemed to be near their capacity of workload. Didn't really take the time to serve, walk you thru the menus, keep the service moving or even gauge your level of satisfaction. We ordered dessert to celebrate the birthday. Apart from a small chocolate plaque on the dessert that said, "happy birthday", there was no attempt to celebrate the occasion as other less exclusive restaurants do... no "happy birthday" wish, no courtesy dessert... nothing special. The best part of this meal was by far, the young couple that accompanied us. Friendly advice: if you want to impress a client with something the feels exclusive... this may be the place. If you are looking for amazing food, being pampered and feeling your money was "well spent", try another place. I don't plan to visit this restaurant soon.
