I just brought over a whole car full of documents that needed to be shredded and the whole process was delightful!! I called this morning to ask for an appointment, received one several hours later, showed up and about 10 minutes later years of documents were safely shredded and out of my garage!!! Everyone that works there are super nice, helpful and friendly. No need to worry, they take all of our items, weigh it (thats how they charge you) and you stand there and watch them shred it in front of you! Oh, and on top of it being quick and efficient with friendly people to help you, it only cost me $40! I am going to go look around my house for more things to shred!!!! I'm so happy! read more

I had thirty years of tax documents and personal papers that I wanted to destroy without worry. My wife found JP Paper Shredders on Yelp and called to make an appointment. They were totally flexible about the time and accommodated our schedule. With JP, you bring the paper you want shredded to their location in Monrovia. When you get there, they weigh it and then take it directly to the shredder. You walk with them and watch the whole process. They load it into an industrial shredder and the destroyed parer comes out the other end and goes directly to a baler and bundled up. This is a great way to handle confidential paper destruction. I liked the fact that I got to watch the whole process. They then gave me a certificate certifying the destruction. This is a small family owned and run business that, nevertheless, is very professional. They know the rules regarding personal information very well and can help you comply with the law. The person who wrote the one negative review obviously does not know the Privacy Act. I am a retired CPA and I am glad there are ethical businesses like JP that comply with the law. His review does not reflect my experience at all. Their prices are very good for shredding and the service was first rate. They were very nice people. I have no reservations about recommending them. I have been back once more since my first visit and my comments would still be the same. This is a great company. read more

When someone gets out of their vehicle as hostile as he was, cursing after hitting us, I will not be quiet. I believe I spoke to you immediately after the incident, your response was "what do you want me to do about it?" Before hanging up on me. I had a pleasant experience here. I brought 34 lbs. of paper and junk mail to shred that was clogging up my garage. You do have to make an appointment. I called, made an appointment, brought in my boxes of shreddables, they unloaded it from my trunk and weighed it, and I got to watch them shred it. It would have been more economical to bring in 200lbs of paper, but I was desperate to unclog my garage. read more

We had a 120 box shredding job that was onsite in Pasadena. Normally we would have used Iron Mountain, but they bailed on the day of. We had all the boxes outside and ready to go and so we were in a bit of a bind to get this done that day. These guys are the best! I just had 217 lbs of paper shredded in 7 min. From the time till I left was a total of 7 min! ALL of the guys that helped me were so fast, friendly and efficient! I wish everywhere can learn from them. From a customer service perspective, I had the best customer service from any company in such a long time..and I least expected it as I as at a paper shredding place. Didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised! Reasonable price too! Much cheaper than if they come out to you. I highly recommend this place and will come again as I work in.
