I am very understanding and compassionate for seniors still working but the lady working front desk needs a position that is not as demanding. So much went wrong. I called to verify they were open and she placed me on hold for 5 minutes just to let me know they were open. A nurse/medical assistant stated to her while I was in line that the wait time is nearing 90 minutes. She recommended that I go to the Niles location but when I called them they had the same 90 wait time so I stayed. I completed registration forms on their iPad. I wanted to verify my place in line and she took 4 minutes locating me, asked some questions and was all over the place and still couldn't locate info but told me to have a seat. Their policy is quite interesting....they accept walk ins but if someone is more traumatic then u will get dumped or if they have an appointment. I completed registration forms at 10:42a per message sent to me; I didn't get seen til after 12:45p. Patience was definitely needed. The medical assistant and medical provider were nice ladies, did their job. I was able to obtain a copy of the forms they had to submit to my job. The lady at the front desk questioned how I got a copy, told her to schedule me for follow up and work on her speed there and took papers with me. I hope I never have another work injury and if I do I will go to the hospital instead.

Having said, I was on major opioids for last 28 years up until 2 months when Cristina Gonzalez at From Pain to Wellness kicked me out of the practice for one of the meds I was on not showing in my urine. Just like that, after 28 years of opioids, 13 years of being seeing by the same pain management clinic.. that was it! Kicked to the curb with no help, no suggestion on where to go , what to do... Frankly, my first thoughts were very dark - wasnt sure if life was worth living. Was worried about withdrawals.. more importantly how in the HELL does a Dr prescribe 300mg of oxy a day and then say " adios.... Hope you figure it out.... ". Well Cristina, the joke is on you b/c Ive never been better. All thanks to Dr Oyasu of ModernMed. His regular job is that of an emergency room physician yet he decided to open ModernMed to support people like me, who got caught up in an opioid cycle. All this b/c his heart was breaking for all the types of people coming into his ER for opioid treatment / withdrawal . my first apt was to discuss my plan in how I was going to get off 300 mg / day of OXY basically cold turkey without ruining my life, my marriage, my job. Dr sat down with me to come up with a plan. He prescribed a handful of medications in which I was super scared yet OMG I had ZERO withdrawals.... I maybe felt a little crummy for a few hours, maybe a day and that was it..... withdrawals over! Folks... you DONT have to spend 100k on some fancy rehab. You just need a really good Dr! Here we are.... Almost two months later... weve had to tweak a few of the meds yet I'm on my way to being fully done w/ opioids and the best part is that I've never felt better - i feel strong, alert, happy, my brain is working in ways it hasnt in decades... I can't explain it but it's exciting . I feel like my brain is coming to life! I hope this helps someone out there! Whoever u are... whoever needs help... Dr Oyasu is waiting for u with open arms to help you see the light. Opioids suck! It's a never ending ticket to nowhere. At Pain to Wellness I spent $500 a month with insurance just to come in to do regular refill apt. Just think , that's $6000 back in my pocket! Maybe I'll spend that money on a trip to Africa, maybe Europe.. Best part is that I won't be jaded on opioids... I'm free!!!!!

I drove over 45 minutes for this appointment, only to be handed additional paperwork when I arrived that had never been mentioned beforehand. I was asked to provide my ethnicity and a copy of my driver's license before they would see me. None of this was discussed when I booked the appointment. Had I known in advance that this information would be required, I could have made an informed decision before making the drive. When I questioned why my race was necessary for what was supposed to be a simple facial -- not surgery -- I was told they "needed to know my race to determine my skin type." That explanation did not sit well with me. Skin type can be evaluated professionally without reducing it to race. Because I was uncomfortable with the additional undisclosed requirements, I chose to walk out. Transparency matters. If certain documents or demographic information are mandatory, that should be clearly communicated before taking a deposit and having clients travel significant distances. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed and frustrated.

I decided to use Options after reading all the good reviews ..... turned out to be a waste of money…read moreand time ! Went in for the first consultation, great sales pitch, great energy. I ended up signing us for a program that had 4 months of medical visits and medication, nutritionist visits and B12 shots. Had to pay $1,500 up front for all that. The First visit with the nurse practitioner was great, she was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and started me on meds. To my surprise, I had to pay for the meds even though I was told that it was included. Another $50. Then the nutritionist consultation came. Little did I know that instead of getting a nutritionist consultation where they explain to you the do's and don'ts, I got a meeting with a snack sales person. The whole nutrition advice is based on a book that only uses their products. So, I had to come up with more money in order to get the food that the "nutritionist" said I had to eat. About $200 for 2 weeks. The "nutritionist" was not able to answer any of my questions regarding the food that I can purchase outside of Options, she kept answering text messages while I was talking. The scale that they used was not balanced and I don't think it was accurate. Went to the second session thinking that maybe the first one was a mishap. Nope ! The same thing happened. She kept answering text messages, sold more products, I think they got commission for sales. After the second session, I called them and asked for my money back (or what was left). The manager said she cannot refund me anything, it's either use it or lose it. She ended up changing the nutritionist. The new one, Kyle, was very knowledgeable and gave me a few great suggestions but still .......sold their product. I felt like this program is meant to get you in with wonderful sales pitches, take your money and then treat you like shit after you sign in. After I gave up the nutritionist consultation, I had about 12 left, they converted that into 3 medical visits for meds. When the time came for the visit (all virtual), I didn't get a link to the meeting or a phone call. They forgot. I requested for a refund (again). No follow up yet. All and all, a rip off program. Didn't help me loose weight, they pushed a lot of sweet snacks and my sugar level was through the roof. Not sure if this review will get published or they will end us taking it down but I do hope that someone will read it and it will help them save $.

Instead of laying off the one with an attitude they got rid of the good coaches you can tell not a happy customer.
