I got a TEXT at 7:15pm during the boarding stay telling me my puppy had a small gash near her nose. The facility stated they would be keeping a close eye on her and if I wanted, they could take her to the vet the next morning. I informed PetSuites to take her to the vet since the incident occurred while in their care. The vet called me to let me know my puppy would need surgery which required 12 stitches to close (see picture of injury below). After not hearing from PetSuites Lawrenceville, I went to the facility to talk to them and to request an incident report. PetSuites Lawrenceville admitted the potty run area had fencing/locks with bolts that stick out on the inside of the potty run and that they were working on sourcing rubber caps for the area to prevent anything like what happened to my puppy occurring in the future. I sent PetSuites of America, the registered agent, a notice of demand to cover the costs of surgery and medication. After the demand, I filed a small claims complaint which was served to their corporate office and they also failed to respond. The most heartbreaking part is that PetSuites of America failed to satisfy my claim and never asked how my puppy was doing after her surgery. I was eventually awarded judgment against them by the magistrate court. I trusted PetSuites Lawrenceville with my family member and they let me down in the worst way. This facility is entrusted with the safety of your animals. They failed mine -- and then refused to own it. I don't want this to happen to anyone else's pet. Please share this so other pet owners in the Lawrenceville area can make an informed decision before leaving their animals at PetSuites Lawrenceville facility.

I was told my dog got out, was missing for several hours, and later was found. I was not aware he was even injured until after he was picked up by my brother the next day when my brother noticed he was hurt. Even if that account were accurate, he didn't take any accountability for the fact that my dog's back legs are paralyzed and a clear story hasn't been given. He claims he was standing outside while my dog was chewing the fence to escape but if that's the case why continue to let him chew it? Nothing is making sense and when I asked him about it he got defensive. All I wanted was answers. Three weeks later, my dog is still suffering. He lives in constant pain, cannot walk without assistance, and is largely confined to bed rest.
