Lawrenceville pet owners -- PLEASE READ before boarding at PetSuites Lawrenceville. My puppy was seriously hurt while staying there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I got a TEXT at 7:15pm during the boarding stay telling me my puppy had a small gash near her nose[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The facility stated they would be keeping a close eye on her and if I wanted, they could take her to the vet the next morning. I informed PetSuites to take her to the vet since the incident occurred while in their care. The vet called me to let me know my puppy would need surgery which required 12 stitches to close (see picture of injury below). After not hearing from PetSuites Lawrenceville, I went to the facility to talk to them and to request an incident report. PetSuites Lawrenceville admitted the potty run area had fencing/locks with bolts that stick out on the inside of the potty run and that they were working on sourcing rubber caps for the area to prevent anything like what happened to my puppy occurring in the future. I sent PetSuites of America, the registered agent, a notice of demand to cover the costs of surgery and medication. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After the demand, I filed a small claims complaint which was served to their corporate office and they also failed to respond[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The most heartbreaking part is that PetSuites of America failed to satisfy my claim and never asked how my puppy was doing after her surgery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was eventually awarded judgment against them by the magistrate court. I trusted PetSuites Lawrenceville with my family member and they let me down in the worst way. This facility is entrusted with the safety of your animals. They failed mine -- and then refused to own it. I don't want this to happen to anyone else's pet. Staff failed on two consecutive boarding visits to provide "pawgress" reports ($7.00 a day, mind you). [[HIGHLIGHT]]In the first case, I was told that I did not sign up for reports. In the second case, I was told that it was my job to phone to get a report and that is not their problem.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Really? THIS IS NOT WHAT I'M PAYING GOOD MONEY FOR THEM TO DO. If staff cannot be relied upon to provide something as simple as a status report for my dog, which is demonstrably true, I wonder what else they're not doing that I am paying them to do? I also wonder about the trustworthiness of employees who clearly do not care. I no longer trust PetSuites. I will be looking for another place to board, a place that cares. My dog is too important to me to leave in the hands of people who don't seem to care about the welfare of animals entrusted to them. I will never return. read more

(4.5) I have been going since 2023. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have been courteous and respectful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The ones that aren't don't last long. My dogs love it when they are outside, not to fond of having to stay in when there is bad weather. The groomers have been great. The wait time to pick up or drop off has improved dramatically. My 1/2 star less that 5 is because when there is medicine to be given the paperwork is submitted but never checked off. But the medicine is showing a reduction so its being given, just not marked, which can be frustrating. Always got my pawgress reports and have not had any issue with food. read more

I would absolutely NOT recommend this location! They over fed my dog, lied about it, and a $30 bag of food went missing, no where to be found! My dog has stayed here numerous of times and each time his bed and blankets would be covered in urine. I know my dog, and if you take him out 3 times a day (like they say they do) he should not have urine everywhere! [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I arrived to pick up my dog, it took 2 staff members and almost 13 minutes for them to bring him out to me![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They told me to come back in an hour to get my dog's blanket because it was being washed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A manager also explained to me that she would purchase me another bag of dog food for the missing one.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I arrived after a couple of hours for the blanket and food, a rude staff member told me that there would be no dog food replacement because in their system it says that my dog should get that amount of food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unbelievable!! There is NO way a 9 lb dog ate $30 worth of dog food in only 3 days!! There is no way! My dog has stayed here for 8 days in the past, and had the same bag of dog food left!!! This place has changed. The day we brought our dog in allegedly there was a fight between mine and some other dog. The camera that would have recorded this fight hasn't been working. How do I know? I called on Friday and asked about said camera since I noticed it wasn't on. A young woman said they have been too busy to fix it and probably still won't have time to. What a coincidence. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No one bothered to call us about this incident despite, by their own admission, they were required to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead, they kept my pet in her hotel room, without informing us, and I had to find out by looking in the cameras and seeing her isolated in a small room. [[HIGHLIGHT]]when I called, no one was available to answer the phones, even though there was people in the building with the animals outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] my dog cannot be caged and kept in a tiny room ALL DAY. It's why I pay extra for her to be let out every morning with the rest of the dogs. She's docile doesn't attack and has never attacked at this place, but magically on the day where the cameras aren't working there was an incident with another dog. Sounds like someone wasn't doing their job in my opinion. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I finally was able to get through to somebody on the phone hours later, they put me on hold twice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] not only are they understaffed here but they overbooked dogs. By a staff member's own admission they had too many dogs that weekend. What is the point of the reservation system, If you don't have a Cap on how many dogs are there? [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were supposed to be called by a manager that day and we weren't called until a day after.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The manager was very unprofessional and had no idea what incident we were even talking about. She was rude and straight up didn't care about our concerns or questions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This place used to be great, but it's clearly suffering from a switch in management or people who just don't care. In the past, I've had to call them before about not letting my dog out with the rest of the dogs. They said it was because of a mistake. I have paid for services like the progress report and on another occasion her getting groomed while she is boarded and they didn't do either. I have watched the decline of this place since I first started taking my dog here over a year ago please if you care about your pet don't take them here. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars!  [[HIGHLIGHT]]I gave them specific instructions on how to care for my dog...meals (comfort food I cooked for her), Trazadone for anxiety, she doesn't get along with men, and she needs to be outside with other dogs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]  They didn't give her the medicine so her anxiety was high because she was in a new place and she had trauma from the pound.  It was at this point they chose to assess her for group play.  She failed so now my dog with kennel trauma gets 20 minutes of play a few times a day and pottie breaks instead of 8 hours of play.  I watched her mental health decline daily on the cameras.  [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to repeatedly call them and make sure they were following the plan and they never were.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]  When I dropped her off I informed them that she doesn't like men.  They informed me that was common and that they'll put a sign on the door letting people know she preferred women.  Turns out they didn't do that and everyone was surprised that she growled at a male worker who came to reassess her.   I have no doubt that this place is a good location for dogs who do not have history of trauma but they were not prepared to handle special needs cases, even when given specific instructions for care. read more

My vet referred us to this place and since we were out of town, my aunt took my cat up there for us. She was sick and needed to take medicine regularly. We picked her up around 8:00 PM the night we got back and she was emaciated and one of the volunteers told us that she had not been eating or socializing. Her paw-gress reported stated that she "was cleaning her bowl" when she ate. We did get a text that she was not eating well on one of the days. I took her to the vet the next day and she was covered in flea dirt and still had some fleas. She was so emaciated that the vet had to give her fluids and other medications. Now, my house is full of fleas and our other cat and dog are scratching furiously. read more

I boarded my two dogs (7 y/o and 10 y/o) at PetSuites Lawrenceville when I went out of town for a short weekend trip. They had gone to daycare once and I thought the staff/environment was great. I recently moved to the area, so I figured I would try boarding, especially since my trip was so short and PetSuites offers a discount for boarding two pets in the same suite. I splurged for the "luxury" suite with the webcam since it was their first time and being able to see them would calm my nerves. I also gave my customer login information to my mom in case she wanted to see the pups in action. The "bronze" package includes one group play session per day, so I figured that would be enough for them as older dogs on a particularly hot weekend. What I didn't know is that the bronze package doesn't include any additional "potty breaks," which would have required me to spend another $30 per dog to upgrade them to the "gold" package. I dropped my dogs off around 10:30am on Friday. According to the webcam, one of my dogs was back in their suite by 1:24pm that day and was joined by my other dog shortly thereafter. I hadn't been checking quite as often, but my mom noticed around 4:00pm that one of their dog beds had a huge wet spot, likely from pee. Both of my dogs are potty trained and I know that boarding can trigger all sorts of stressors/weird behaviors that don't happen in the day-to-day. However, it was an extremely hot weekend (average in the 90s everyday) and my dogs drink A LOT of water after walks or playtime, which led me to believe that they hadn't been let out to pee in a while. As the day went on, I checked the webcam periodically, and both of my dogs appeared to be in their suite for the rest of the day. I'm not sure if this is normal for the bronze package, but I didn't think that I needed to spend extra money to make sure my dogs could go to the bathroom. It's my understand that they eat in their kennels, which leads me to believe that they didn't have a potty break during/after meals like they're used to. Saturday morning rolled around and we were starting to feel uneasy. It seemed that my dogs still had not been let out since the previous day. I tried not to worry about it, figuring that PetSuites knew what they were doing, but my mom called to ask. One of the employees politely explained that they keep the older boarding dogs inside for the morning session, then they get let out for afternoon play, which made sense. My mom then asked about their potty schedule, but she couldn't get a straight answer; the employee basically just reiterated what the bronze package meant. Low and behold, the dogs were finally let out for group play around 12:15pm. Neither of us could see the entire suite from the webcam because of its angle, but we're pretty sure my dogs were in there with no breaks from about 1:30pm on Friday afternoon until this time. Next thing I know, at 1:21pm on Saturday, PetSuites calls me to tell me that my dog is suddenly "peeing blood" and asking whether that's normal. I've had him for nearly three years and he has a clean bill of health, so peeing blood was definitely abnormal. I asked when this started happening and how many times he had peed the previous day. After being put on hold for a minute, the employee only said that this "just started happening" but still wouldn't give me a straight answer on how often he had been let out for potty. They asked whether I had anyone in the area who could pick him up and take him to the vet. Luckily, a good friend of mine was able to step in and take them for the night until I returned, but that's beside the point; people board their pets for the purpose of keeping them safe and healthy while they're out of town, likely because they don't have another option. My dogs got picked up around 2:00pm on Saturday and told my friend that they would send a photo of the blood. After waiting a couple hours, I texted their customer line and asked to see the photo, which clearly showed a puddle of blood on the concrete. I immediately asked whether this happened just once or multiple times, and PetSuites didn't respond to me until the following day. I also noticed on my final invoice that they had fed him "resort food" instead of the food I dropped off with both of them and provided instructions for, and they charged me an extra $10. All in all, I'm just thankful for my friend stepping up and being able to get them out of there, because the whole situation rubbed me the wrong way. I'm convinced my dog contracted some sort of UTI or similar infection because he was not let out for potty breaks often enough. They were under PetSuites care for a little over 24 hours when this happened. My sweet boy is luckily fine and has not peed blood since. Needless to say, I won't be bringing my dogs back, and I suggest you don't either. read more

This place is AWESOME!!!! Dog lover here!!!!!!!!! Over the years I have looked at different boarding facilities for my spoiled pups and they weren't impressive, nor have I ever felt comfortable leaving them in such places making it difficult to leave town on vacation. But I found this place! It is super clean, organized, the staff is super friendly and your dog will be spoiled! I fell in love with this place so much that I applied to work there! Lol ! The atmosphere is amazing, and the pups are in great hands. I am very picky as to where my dogs stay and how they are cared for. After being here I am at peace knowing that they will be properly taken care of and loved! I highly recommend this place to all people like me that are weary of boarding facilities, this place does NOT disappoint! read more

I packed my puppy 5 bags of fresh pet ... one bag lasts 3days. When I called in... Brittany a worker whose been less than warm in my experience... characterized giving 13 weeks old puppy 4 cups of food a day and my receiving reports on some else's dog as a miscommunication. When I asked that she just admit they made a mistake... and how pet suites planned to fix things ... she hung up on me. Mind you, I was still out of the country and the mishandled my pet. I had no way of knowing if my pet was ok and i had several days left before being stateside. I was worried and concerned and unable to enjoy my vacation worried about the mistakes made and if my puppy was ok. So my fur baby stayed here for his very first time. Prior to staying here I've always boarded GM him at his veterinarian simply because they know him and that's where I've felt comfortable boarding him. Well this place is amazing. Everyone is super friendly and obviously loving to your pet. They have an in-house grooming center. A room to board cats. They have 2 outdoor play areas, not just concrete like some of these other places have. They have 2 unground doggy pools. Yes that's right. They also have 2 indoor play areas for inclement weather or days when it's just too hot to go outdoors. They have several boarding plans dependent on your pets needs or if they are just plain snooty. Lol. My fur baby had his own bed( standard), I did bring his own and as you can see he didn't sleep in it. He also had a flat screen tv in his room in which there is a screen saver and music playing. If you're not familiar and are looking for a boarding place for your fur baby, they are located on sugarloaf pkwy in lawrenceville next to Gwinnett County fairgrounds. This will be my new boarding place. This is like a little pet hotel. Oh and they also have daycare. What else you need to know other than the great rates. Only services for my pet was either to have feedings, but be isolated in a suite for the entire day, or to allow playtime with other pets and not have feeding times the entire day. This wasn't communicated during the evaluation period, as they provided dayplay and feeding for the day. Not certain why the change or miscommunication. read more

I absolutely LOVE Petsuites in Lawrenceville! My fur baby, Buddy, loves it here even more! The staff are friendly, professional, very responsive, caring, and loving towards Buddy! After having a bad experience at a different "doggy daycare," I was skeptical about trying them BUT it was the best decision I made by taking him here! They are very affordable for daycare, day play, and overnight stays. The suites are clean, welcoming, and inviting for your fur baby! I absolutely love the fact that they celebrate ALL of the holidays with the pets, dressing them up for the occasion, and offering pictures of them celebrating their special day. They recently had a "puppy bowl," so the pets could take part in the human version of the Super Bowl, Buddy LOVED it! The groomer is fantastic!
