"Are you from around here?" he asked. "No." "I don't know of any places who would just drop everything to fix your car." That surprised me, as over the years, I've dropped by a lot of garages all over New England for quick OBD reads. I knew that it probably didn't need to get fixed immediately, just that the car's computer was upset about an oxygen or emission reading. Apparently, A Plus doesn't extend the courtesy of a diagnostic test that takes 90 seconds to do. And it doesn't realize that there are garages out there who do. (Thanks Monro Muffler in Chicopee!)
