I also would rave how intimate and cozy this place is but spacious enough that everyone has a great seat in the house. The last three visits have just been so disappointing. Ticket prices have been fairly priced with even sometimes free tickets being made available on Instagram. Food and drink prices are definitely priced to make up for those ticket discounts. With that being said I will no longer order the brisket and tell anyone about it. It's been dry, flavorless and overcooked. Terrible! Now for our last visit, I was pretty disappointing and unsure if I'll return. It was the first time for one of my guest and my party was disappointed and I felt bad. So we were early and when doors were open, we were sat in the mid area. People were then filled in on the side of us and behind us. It was probably 10-15 minutes when we look around and notice people had drinks and food on their table and folks that came in after us, were being attended to. At one point the waitress, turned and looked at me and said I'll be with you after this. I smiled and ok thank you. She finished and then continued to go around us and didn't come back. At this point the show is starting. I got up and went to tell another worker and she seemed like she cared and wanted to help, but another female server rushed over to see what I was stirring up and she brushed me off and said I'll help you, but she was clearly irritated. I walked back and the original server is taking my guest order. Now the drinks and food came out so slow. Tables around us were done eating and working on second drinks. I was shocked. It was so bad. We couldn't even enjoy the show. We were sitting there thirsty. Food came out. It has really gone downhill. Cheap bar food over priced now. There was so much more bad involved but I'll leave it here. After walking in go toward the stage and there will be staff to take you to your seat. I got VIP tickets so was seated at the front. Soon after being seated, a server came to take my order. There is a two item minimum per person. I got the watermelon margarita, lemon pepper boneless chicken, and peach paradise sangria. Service was mostly good. My server came by regularly. The only minor issue I had was having to ask for utensils and water twice. It seems the server who takes the order is different from the ones that serve the food/drink. You are not allowed to use your phone during the show so be sure to put it away and on silent. The opening acts were good. Russell Peters was very funny as usual. All in all it was a fun laughter filled evening.

Additionally, we will stop recommending this venue to any of our friend in the forceeable future. We have discovered Levity Live back in January. My wife was scouring Facebook and found tickets for Gabriel Iglecias. We love Fluffy. Bought tickets for herself, me and our 15yo son. We have went to the concert, walked through front door, no id was asked, and enjoyed our time. Even got a private time with Fluffy after the concert. Have pictures to prove it. Second time just about a week ago went to see Phil Medina and other comedians. Same story three tickets, no id asked for. Also have pictures of our son and Phil after the concert in front of the venue. --- And this brings us to today. Found rare tickets for Nurse John. Again. Got three tickets. Nowhere on the tickets or on the platform where we got them from was an age restriction. Went to the venue early to get better seats. At the door we are stopped and prompted for id's. We have asked why? Club is now 21 and over, new policy. We have asked if we would be allowed in with the minor as our responsibility, and were told that it si up to the floor manager to decide. Few minutes later floor manager appears; Unfortunately we can not let you in, I have called higher management and they have denied the entry. My wife had asked for a refund or a equal value credit. While pointing out that this is not a first time we would bring our underage son to this venue. Managers response was shoking: Even though you have managed to sneak your son in in the past. We can not allow him in and we can not give you a refund. --- We were just accused in SNEAKING our son in in front of other people. Is this professional? -- All of a sudden a security guard appears next to us. Not doing anything just watching. My wife had suggested to continue conversation outside so, we don't interfere with other ticket holders whom, btw are not asked for their ids. Outside we are now accompanied by two security officers. The manager is not offering any logical solutions to the situation, just repeating herself about offering us a venue credit and denying the refund. Conversation lasts for few minuets and all of a sudden a third security guard appears: a woman. Judging by her demeanor, could be a supervisor. We are now surrounded by three security guard. My wife is 5'2. Are they afraid she would go hand to hand with them? Conversation continues but now it is accompanied by extremely rude remarks from a female security guard aimed at my wife, to a point that I had to point that out, just to be dismissed. We are now offered a business card that we would have to use to call and supposedly reveive some comp tickets. we are agreeing since there is no point in dragging the conversation further. Clearly manager has absolutely no interest in resolving the situation but trying to dismiss it and get rid of us as quickly as possible. Both the manager and female security gueard leave to fetch a business card. Few minutes later only female security guard appears and tosses us a business card, with extremely sarcastic: here you are have a nice day, comment. My wife picks the card and while we are turning to leave, all of a sudden I hear: "what about f...g b..ch" coming from the female guard. I turn around and ask one of the male security guards about a name of that person just to be server with a response: don't worry about it. ---- During his performance Phil Medina had announced that this was his last concert at Levity Live due to some "changes" Apparently these changes effect not just performers but the audience as well. It is also apparent that management has no interest in taking care of their customers if customer service is non existent. . We loved going to Levity Live. We loved the food, the atmosphere, and the performes, but all this is in the past now thankful to people in charge of keeping customers happy but having no interest and possibly experience of doing so.

Didn't get a chance to chat with her after the show but she's good vibes times ten. The parking in the area is very much street with both residential and metered spots down and around Tujunga Ave between Moorpark and Woodbridge. They do have restrooms inside though theme nights and shows don't typically run too long. Allen Levin, the owner, is a saint fielding calls for questions and managing sales and lineups. Definitely had a great and positive experience with NCLA and would attend again.

Although we were all technically legal adults, I still think there is something very sleazy about an authority figure in his 40s swaying 18 and 19 year old aspiring actors to perform nude with him. Of course, he tailored his messaging toward empowerment-- all bodies are great bodies, and all bodies are welcome. The reality, however, was that most of these students were recent L.A. arrivals with little working knowledge of the entertainment industry. It's hard not to recognize the power imbalances at play and potential vulnerabilities being exploited. Having said that, I will not disparage the talent that came out of these shows, and I will commend the owner's rules regarding privacy (no cameras allowed) and hygiene (towel is required).

Since the drink was kinda sweet, you dont really taste the alcohol at first, but I started getting the Asian flush so there was definitely alcohol in it. I paid $65 per ticket (general admission), and from the moment we arrived, everything felt disorganized and careless. Even just to stand at the bar, we were forced to wait outside in the cold for over 15 minutes while the previous show wrapped--no courtesy, no staging, no communication. When we were finally let in, it somehow got worse. Instead of being seated inside the venue we paid for, we were told to sit outside. No heaters. We were instructed to grab our own chairs, which were dusty and dirty. This felt less like a comedy club and more like an afterthought. Service was a mess. Servers were visibly confused, delivering the wrong food and drinks, not knowing which orders belonged to which tables. It was chaotic and unprofessional. The sound was awful. You could barely hear the comedians, and even they acknowledged how bad the setup was. When performers are openly commenting on how much of a disaster the room is, that says everything. As we were leaving, I tried to look into the actual room we were supposed to be seated in--the one we paid for--and was told I wasn't allowed to even look inside. When I mentioned that I paid $65, the response was, "You don't need to bring that up." Why wouldn't I? That's the entire issue. For the price they're charging, this is unacceptable. I honestly can't imagine how angry I'd be if I had paid for VIP or front-row seating. This place feels like it's cutting corners at every level--operations, service, sound, and basic respect for customers. There are far better comedy clubs in LA that actually care about the audience and the performers. Save your money. Spend it literally anywhere else.
