I love this place. They take cash and debit/credit. Safe. Lots of parking but it's taken quickly. Lots of food places to walk to around here. When you watch a comedy show here, please note that it is a two item minimum (food or drink). Items can run pretty pricey. Don't heckle .... You'll get booted. Lines run quickly. Security is nice. Servers are always so nice. We've come here more than 10 times and I love it. Inside is very clean. Restrooms are always clean and stocked up. Seems small but there is a lot of seating. Drink are delicious. Don't get the chips and salsa lol. It's way over priced for literally chips and salsa If you're really hungry, the quesadilla and wings are okay. Comedy shows are great. Food has CHANGED. Miss the bbq. Drinks have expanded but aren't as good as they were. 2 order minimum, used to look forward to the bbq but the current options are a miss. Wait staff is always nearby if you need to order anything. Getting in and seated is smooth, staff is very friendly. DJ is awesome. Crowd is like family! Ambience pays tribute to comedy legends. I live about 12 minutes from this comedy club and had no idea it even existed. I came for the first time to support the Black Police Officers Association (BPOA) Christmas Comedy Show. The venue has a very intimate layout--honestly, every seat feels like a good seat, whether you're VIP or general admission. We sat in a VIP booth, and the service was exceptional. Now, let's talk about the food... or maybe not too much. Thankfully, I came for laughs because the food wasn't bringing the same energy. We ordered the smoked wings, brisket nachos, and chicken quesadillas, and none of them stood out. That said, the drinks were solid. I had a mezcal Cadillac margarita and really enjoyed it. I'd also love to see more food options on the menu. Currently it includes smoked wings, quesadillas, hummus, nachos, chips & salsa, a dirty dog, house salad, and edamame--so there's room to expand. Like most comedy clubs, there's a two-item minimum per person. I'll definitely be checking their website to see which comedians are coming up. I recently bought tickets to see Sammy Obeid. I get out of work super late. I got there late and just in the nick of time to see Sammy. (This generations Mort Sahl) He put on a clinic and the club had awesome decor. I am a comic starting out and I had always heard about the mic here from other comics and I am going to start doing it now. The decor was awesome. It is a real comedy club in Bellflower. Service was great. Got my check way before The headliner finished. The parking is also way better than Holywood or Burbank or Irvine or Hermosa Beach even. I like this club. It's a small venue and that I like. Although there are other attractions close by there's plenty of parking. The food was awful! For the money that was paid it should have been of a higher quality. Everything was from a can. No bar so the drinks weren't that great. I believe that if you're going to serve food to your patrons it should be tasty or don't serve food. We were at the club last night after getting tickets from Phil Medina. It was our first time here at this location omg we love everting about it. The lady at the door was so nice and professional and owner welcome he welcome us inside to our seats on the stage. The decor was awesome pictures of previous comics like the hall of fame very cool. The place is small, but perf ct for date night the ambiance was amazing. We ordered nachos which were huge omg chicken, guacamole, sour cream, black olives, and chile on the side. I had two ginger ale's and she had a Paloma. The service was excellent and comics were great. Bathrooms were nice bc and clean with plenty of free parking. Overall we had amazing experience and go back again sometime hopefully free tickets again if not we pay too ... Definitely give it try worth the drive and laughter. read more

One of the best nights ever! My husband and I happened to go out for a walk and stumbled upon this stand-up comedy spot. We asked about tickets, but it was a sold-out night. Thankfully, Scarlett went above and beyond to make it work so we could still get in. I have to say, this turned out to be one of the most amazing date nights I've had in a long time. The vibe was great, the atmosphere was fun, and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had four drinks -- a bit pricey, but they were good. I had a blast at the comedy club Saturday! My server was Priscilla and she did amazing. Very cool lady with awesome vibes. My drink was tasty (Red Queen) too. I was there right when doors opened so I was seated in the front of the stage. The place is a nice size but they pack everyone in pretty good. I was in the first seat of the row so I had leg room thank God. The main reason I went was for Chaunte Wayans and she did not disappoint! I really enjoyed her style of comedy. read more

We've come here on several occasions to enjoy their comedy shows! The spot is in close proximity to some great restaurants and vibrant night life scene. The spot is festive and always has a good crowd ready to laugh! The staff is great, attentive, friendly, our server tonight was very accommodating. They also offer VIP booths named after famous Comedians. The food is good too, I had the chicken tenders and they were very good. I ordered a Moscow Mule, it was well crated, had the right amount of liquor and other ingredients, and was very tasty. We always have a great time and the comedians are top notch! We came Friday night to support Ernie G, who always puts on a great show including his special guests. Perfect size club for enjoying stand up comedy. We have seen several shows there including a couple of open mic nights. I usually go a bit on the early side and get excellent seats. Comedians usually like my husband because he has a loud and easy laugh. Food and drinks are good especially on the nights when they serve BBQ. read more

I recently stopped by to attend my friend's birthday bash & celebration of life to raise funds for student scholarships. The club was clean and spacious. They have a great sound system.The comedians that attended were amazing. I had a great night filled with laughter and smiles. I also tried a couple of items on their menu. I had the Red Queen to drink, which was a tequila-based cocktail, and to snack on, I had the hummus platter. The drink was great. It had a good amount of alcohol. The hummus platter was delicious. The hummus was creamy. I enjoyed eating it with the pita bread, carrots, and olives. The staff was friendly and ensured I was doing okay throughout the show. Came here last night to see Russell Peters and the venue / customer service / hosts were amazing! We did a team builder for work and they went above and beyond to take care of our large group (30 people). The venue is smaller than Improv but I actually prefer that because it is a much more intimate setting! You feel very close to the comedians. They also have a few bar and some snacks / apps to select from. They also were willing to make adjustments for us to allow for vegetarian options. And the best part is they even asked Russell to take a group pic with us at the end! We had an incredible time and will absolutely be back! Thank you, Scarlet and team! read more

Came on a Friday night to support my friends in The Creatures of Habit comedy show. The lineup was on fire. Like Alex, the producer, somehow managed to snag Mark Ellis who is a regular on KLOS on the radio and you can tell by his sheer commanding presence on stage. His jokes about UFOs now being called UAPs were hilarious! Retha Jones made me laugh so hard talking about her magnetic eyelashes and an incident in the kitchen. Jason Collings and Ali Sher always make me laugh even though at this point I know the punchlines. For them, it's more about enjoying the delivery and hearing each new crowd roar with laughter at just the right moment. Priscilla Gonzalez is new to the game and it's cool to see her grow as a comedian. If I'm not mistaken, this was her first time doing standup at an actual club. I thought it was sweet how Jason, an 18 year veteran, was giving her tips after the show. It was my first time hearing from Jonesy and Subhah and they had me cracking up as well. I know I'm quiet and rarely speak, so to see and hear these comedians capture an audience solely with their words is fascinating to me. It truly is an art form and a talent, and I love seeing what each comedian has to bring on stage. read more

I'm glad to have a local comedy where I don't have to drive all the way to Hollywood and the acts they bring here keep getting better and bigger. I have been to a few shows here but each time I have came it was a great experience. The venue is pretty small so every seat is a good view. I have not ate any of the food here but the drinks were made perfect. Not to strong but not made weak where you cant taste any alcohol. Perfect for a night of comedy. I hope this venue stays open for a long time and they keep bringing quality acts. I will keep supporting this local business. read more

Decent sized venue. Plenty of tables set up in rows, or you can pay extra (five times over) for a booth. They seat about 8 people. The food is on point!! There's free 2 hour parking 7AM-9PM (hint, hint, it's hard to find parking). The doors at this venue open at 7:30 PM, so ..you do you, LOL. The comedians were very entertaining. This review is long overdue--but definitely not because the service wasn't amazing! I booked The Stand Up Comedy Club for my wife's 50th birthday party, and it was absolutely perfect. From the very beginning--almost a year in advance--Scarlet was incredible. She was patient, kind, and always available, no matter how many times I called or changed my mind. She helped plan every detail and offered great suggestions to make sure the surprise party would be unforgettable. As the big day got closer, Scarlet stayed in touch, checking in and helping me fine-tune the plans. The night of the party, she arrived early and made sure everything was running smoothly. When my DJ didn't show up right away, she even called to check in and make sure things stayed on track. You could tell she genuinely cared about making the night as special for us as we did. The food was delicious, the service that night was fantastic, and the atmosphere was just what I hoped for; fun, lively, and full of laughter. This is one of the best clubs in Southern California and also one of the best looking! When you walk in there are pictures of all the legendary comics through out the years! I've been here twice and the second time was a blast for Gumbo and Friends show. The owner John does a great job of seating and meeting the guests before the show! The drinks and food are great too. It's a diamond in the rough now but being one of the newer clubs this spot will be a hot spot sooner than later like The Laugh Factory, Improv, and Comedy Store. I recently visited The Stand-Up Comedy Club to see Willie Barcena and showed up early to get a bite to eat before the show started. Our waitress Percilla gave us some suggestions and one of her many suggestions was the Pulled Pork Melt. Though all of her suggestions, I'm so happy that I picked the Melt, you talk about a hearty, smokey, and cheesy Sammich! I was kind of worried it would have a sweet flavor because of the mango sauce, but boy was I wrong. The mango sauce gave it the right edge to this beast of a sandwich. Oh and let's not forget about the tender Pulled Pork that had a bite similar to a fall-off-the-bone rib and get this, they put the whole concoction between two slices of buttered Texas toast and cheese! I paired this with another banger of a suggestion of Percillas, their Smokey Cadillac Margarita. The show hadn't even started and I was already having a great time, LOL But once the show started Willie put on one heck of a show! This Club is always a winner and a welcomed part of the revitalization of Bellflower. The Comedy Club truly rivals the Comedy Clubs in Hollywood and Las Vegas. I first went to The Stand Up Comedy Club to see Aida Rodriguez earlier this year and have returned two more times after that; one to celebrate my birthday and another for a night out with friends. The intimate set up creates a cool ambiance. I also really enjoyed the diversity in the crowd as it was different at every show. Scarlett and the team did an amazing job at coordinating with me for my birthday and helping so that all the guests of my party felt welcomed. There is plenty of parking in the surrounding areas both on the street and nearby parking structures. The service is exceptional, the drinks are yummy, and the comedians are great! read more

So this was our first time and came as a date night with our friends. We came to see Momo Rodriguez. When we arrived we have our names because we were on the guests list and the general manager gave us options to seat and also asked if we would like seat in the front? No one was seating on those tables, so we said yes. Let's go for it. The one thing I was pretty in shock how the servers were quick and followed up. I didn't get our server's name but that she had glasses. had ponytail, light skin and was consistent through the night. Not once did we have to look for her. Just wished we would of got her name. She was awesome! You don't get that type of service when your at a comedy club. They have a pretty good variety menu. The pretzel bites are so good we kept ordering them. There brisket nachos delicious. I will say They're food is 1000xs better than The Improve. One good thing is their restrooms were clean and didn't smell. Which always a good sign that they are good maintaining clean restrooms. Now the comedians were all hilarious and my husband and I with our friends, just over shared and we became the topic. It was fun being made fun off and just having a good time. We were able to take pictures with comedians and when we're heading out the general manager thanked me for being a big part of the show. I just told him this place is awesome and my apologies for my husband and I, being to detail. It was funny Momo saying he had jokes planned but what we were saying and answering the questions it took another turn. This place is nice and not big which I like. It's nice, clean and great service! It was good to know that Momo will be performing one a month there. Totally rocks! This little club in downtown Bellflower is a gem! We came for a SRO show, and the drinks were good (well poured), and the comedy was entertaining! The interior really feels like a comedy club - red and black, with great posters and photos on the wall. We did not get anything besides drinks and fries, but they were both perfect. The Fang (mine) was, of course, sweet. My friend got Can We Talk? Hahaha. I love that the menu shows which drinks are spicy and which are sweet. Great detail. There are restaurants and shops nearby. The venue is a little small, so you will be sitting close to your neighbor, however, the comedians are all awesome. We came last Saturday to see comedian Willie Barcena, which was a sold-out show and could not stop laughing . A few weeks before that, we saw comedian Quinn Dale who was also great! We have not tried the food yet, however, the service is very quick when ordering drinks. There is a two drink minimum and would advise coming early because parking can be tough to find.
