The products are professional, high quality, and FLAWLESS! The Minuteman Press ownership, staff, and team are animal lovers who are kind, caring, compassionate, empathetic, and professional. The Story: Foothill Dog Rescue is a small nonprofit organization in Shingle Springs California (El Dorado County) who rescue dogs from shelters, foster them, and find loving forever homes for them. Foothill Dog Rescue is partnered with Folsom State Prison's New Paws On The Block program. A small program that consists of 9 incarcerated individuals, who are the cream of the crop among the general population, who are trusted with 4 of Foothill Dog Rescues Dogs and provide basic obedience and Canine Good Citizen training. This program has enabled Foothill Dog Rescue to save an additional 27 dogs in the 24 months that the program has existed. Wednesday September 16th is the external 2 year celebration of the New Paws On the Block. While incarcerated, and as a participant in the program, I came up with the idea to create this calendars featuring 12 of the dogs that our program has saved. 2 weeks later I was released due to exemplary conduct, and asked by the Foothill Dog Rescue team if I would be willing to undertake this project. I built my first draft in a nationwide drug stores website, but one calendar was priced at $35. I built a new version using Claude AI, and unfortunately my home printer was not capable of handling a project of this size, scale, and magnitude. I went to a national office supply store and they quoted us $365 for 15 calendars coiled and printed in regular paper, I called a local printing service who quoted us $625 for 20 calendars. Our Hail Mary was Minuteman Press, who graciously undertook our project and kept our dream of creating these calendars alive! Myself, and the Foothill Dog Rescue team, are beyond humbled, appreciative, and grateful to Minuteman Press, who themselves are a small local business, for their hard work, kindness, and generosity for completing our project. For anyone in the Antelope Valley, State of California, or anywhere in the United States looking for a company who provides a printing service for your business, organization, or nonprofit I would not recommend going anywhere but Minuteman Press in Lancaster California. They have the ability to ship anywhere in the United States, can handle a wide variety of projects, have a quick turnaround time, and are some of the most professional and kind people you can interact with! Great customer service, great support, LETS KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS!! From all of us at Foothill Dog Rescue, Thank You Minuteman Press!

had an experience at Staples today that was disappointing enough that I feel it's worth sharing…read more I went in because I saw that they had laptops on sale. I spent about 15 minutes looking through the laptop section, reading the specifications and comparing my options. I even discussed with my husband which one I was interested in purchasing. During that time, there was an employee nearby who appeared to be aware that I was looking at the laptops, but no one offered to assist me. Eventually, I had to leave the area, get in the customer service line, and ask if someone could help me with the laptops. Ironically, the employee who had been nearby watching me came over to assist. Unfortunately, the interaction only became more frustrating from there. His manner throughout the transaction felt very condescending. At one point, while I was on my phone transferring money to make the purchase, he told me he would help me after I got off my phone. He also spoke to me in a way that gave me the impression he assumed I didn't know much about computers or even how to add an app to my phone. I understand that people make assumptions based on appearances, and perhaps I didn't look like someone who was there to purchase a laptop. I'd been unpacking and moving all day, so I certainly wasn't dressed up or looking my best. But I came into the store prepared to make a purchase, knew what I was looking for, and ultimately did exactly that. I went ahead with the purchase because I wanted the laptop, but I left feeling as though I had been judged and talked down to throughout the experience. I can't help but wonder whether I would have been treated the same way if I had been a man--or perhaps a younger customer. I'm not writing this because I expect special treatment. I simply expect the same level of courtesy and respect that any customer deserves, regardless of how they look, their age, or what an employee assumes about their ability to afford or use a product. Staples has some good products and good prices, but customer service matters too. I hope this experience is taken seriously and that employees are reminded not to make assumptions about the customers standing in front of them.

The first time I walked into APG, I was a bit dejected after stopping by one of their competitors, only to find out that the competition didn't do much other than banners and business cards. But after walking in, I felt immediately inspired. APG's office space is huge and impressive with great art on the walls. I worked with Chris on my personal project and discussed future ideas for a different project. They really do it all over there, from small paper projects to business cards to shirt printing and graphic design. The amount of products they can print on is huge! I was planning on going with an LA company but thankfully I found a quality printing place right here in the Antelope Valley. The turnaround time for my project was quick once I got everything turned into them how I wanted, it only took a day to finish. Of course turnaround time will vary depending on the project though. Everyone I've talked to there was really nice and seemed really passionate about what they do. I'm glad to find I look forward to working with APG again!

Parking is plentiful and the store is spacious however there's a sign in front that says to make a line outside if the line is to the door, so i hesitantly opened the door. I see that the layout of the store is probably the reason for this sign, it is not laid out that well in my opinion because the registers are to the right of the store, the left of the store has items for sale and some scanners, I'm sure this causes quite a bit of congestion and it causes the store to look messy and haphazard. Probably it would be better for the registers to be straight back and the two walls on the right and left to instead have things hanging on and the scanning stuff at the front. Then the lines could go straight back. Anyways on this time I came there was no line and the staff assisted me quickly. I was in and out within 3 minutes probably. As another yelp review noted, the most important aspect is for staff to be knowledgeable and helpful which they are!
