To the person who put carbs on our favourite carb, I salute you! Famous peppers is the most well known pizza joint in Charlottetown with a few locations including their newest spot in Founders Food Hall serving up some fantastic wood fired Za, sammys, and some boujee tacos. I can't speak too much on the location or service bc my BF was the delivery boy for this but WOW the Spud Islander could put me in my grave. The maple cream sauce, with chunks of sliced potato, caramelized onion, and smoked bacon were the party flavour town didn't know it needed! The dough is pretty good, not quite thin crust or Neapolitan but a solid tasty fortress holding in all those toppings. This was a white pizza with lots of cheese and salty sweet deliciousness that will have you reaching for more (and probably some water... or beer bc they offer that for takeout too) We also got the tropic thunder (where you at my pineapple pizza lovers?!) which is a red sauce pizza with cheese, jalapeños, red onion, pineapple (like real pineapple, not those weird canned chunks) and pepperoni. I finally had one about a year ago when I went with him to visit his parent's...and wow... I HATE! HATE HATE tomatoes...but I made an exception for donairs. It's so good! The staff was friendly and helpful. I waited at the bar enjoying the lovely space while the pizza finished cooking. The pizza (Siciliana) was delicious - wood fired with great flavor.
