The contractor assured me that any paint would be perfectly matched and that all furniture and flooring would be covered. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be a nightmare. Here's what went wrong: 1. After the job, attic insulation was left all over my upstairs carpet. 2. Drywall dust covered the furniture in every room they worked in--none of it was covered as promised. 3. The dust wasn't limited to upstairs; it was also all over the hardwood floors in the formal and family rooms, kitchen, and office. 4. The drywall patching was sloppy and looked unprofessional. 5. Paint got on my furniture because nothing was properly protected. 6. The paint "matching" was a joke--he tried to leave walls looking obviously mismatched and only after I insisted, I had to scramble to find and provide a proper matching paint myself. 7. He shorted and broke the timer switch for my outdoor light--now I have to hire an electrician to fix it. 8. He was completely unprepared to install the last fan and I ended up spending the final two hours of the job holding the fan while he struggled to finish. 9. On top of everything, he took the paint I purchased and refused to return it. Now I'm left cleaning up his mess--literally and financially. I need to bring in a real electrician to fix what he broke and someone to refinish my hardwood floors because of the damage and dust left behind. I strongly do not recommend Just Paint It. Save yourself the frustration, extra expense, and disappointment.
