Due to the age of the machine, 35 years, the replacement part is expensive. Jon showed me a used snowblower he had in his shop and offered for a really good price. Cleaned it up, rebuilt the carb, made it look like new. I stopped by and actually gave it a test run. It also starts on the first pull. He also let me know that since it's later in the season, he'll help out if anything goes wrong next season. As usual, Jon is responsive, mindful of your budget, and just one of the most friendly, chill, down-to-earth people I've ever met, let alone do business with. Thanks again, Jon! Speaking to her should have been my first inclination to take my business elsewhere. The next time I talked with her I received the same unpleasantness. Regardless of her, they did pick up my tractor. Let me add that this is a New 2020 John Deere with 17 hours on it. Belinda did tell me it would take a few weeks before they could look at it. So they have my mower, "repair" it, return it. Within 15 minutes of mowing, it backfires and shuts off. Lifting the hood reveals that the something is on fire as noticeable smoke shows up. I call LELG and once again am greeted by the usual rudeness of Belinda. I let her know that the mower is Not fixed. She says they fixed it, I say obviously not.
