I had a very good experience at JS Nails! I felt a little out of my comfort zone trying out a new nail salon since I did have a regular guy do my nails back home. The area was extraordinarily clean and the staff were super friendly. There was no tugging nor pulling during the process (which I was afraid would happen). I will most definitely be coming back and make this salon my regular spot!

The sloppiest manicure I ever received in my life. The first nail tech did not listen when I asked for a soak off and a manicure (like trim the cuticles, etc) she used the drill anyways. The second nail tech, who I assume is one of the owners, was extremely rude. She did not listen when I told her how I wanted my nails and then blamed me for not speaking up. She threw my hands around and bent my fingers in a painful way. It was not relaxing at all. I'm going on vacation to Disneyworld in two days and asked for Mickey Mouse nails.. this is what I got

Always get my nails done here, but I do prefer some people over others there's two older folks a woman and a man who don't really pay attention to what they're doing and don't really care, the younger people seem to really enjoy what they're doing on some days, however I did get a fill there today and they charged me $35 which at any other salon I could've gone to and gotten a fill for 15 she did replace one of my nails that was falling off but there's no way it should've cost $35, I didn't argue it just cause I had to go but next time I get a fill and she tells me it's $35 I will question her other than negative thoughts I do think they do a really good job and other than the amount she had charged me and the older people this is a great place to go they used to have a little shop next to the one that they're in right now but they moved to a bigger one and it looks so much better so much more room and a lot more comfortable as well! They're very nice And I do prefer JS nails over any salon in Yakima by far

This used to be my favorite and only place I would go but ever since they got the bigger shop it seems like they are rude and speed thru to get you done. Also can never get in every time I would walk in they said male appointment but everytime I tried to make an appointment they would either say how bout for next day or no need to make appointment just walk in. The customer service went completely downhill, the last time I was in I had 3 different techs taking turns my nails were uneven. For as much as they charge they should be nicer. read more

No stars for the crap service! we scheduled appts and came back as they requested 2 hrs later. Appointment was at 4pm, they got us in at 4:05 pm. I had a pedi and let's say the chair massage lasted longer thenmy pedi. The pedi was less then 10 minutes! I've had pedis last longer then 30 + mintues. There customer service skills sucked! They should say our pedis only last 10 mins! Sad experience I could've polished my nails at home and purchased polish for the amount they charged me for a pedi. WILL NEVER GO BACK! BEWARE PEDI'S ONLY TAKE 10 MINS. YOU ALL SHOULD GO THROUGH EXTENSIVE TRAINING TO KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING! read more

They left my old polish on because they were too impatient to wait for it to come off, there is still remnants of my old polish on my fingers. This salon is SO unprofessional. Nail techs always have headphones in and always are on their personal cell phones. The little conversations they have with each other is very inappropriate. I am Vietnamese myself and the shit talking and rude remarks that they make about their customers is unacceptable. They are not very attentive to you and my nails only turn out good if it's not busy. If it is busy they will rush through it and it turns out to be a shitty job. Spend your money somewhere else. read more

one of the best places that could do almost what I wanted on my nails,but way too expensive for something I wanted they wanted almost 80 and I paid 40 for that exact design. The big thing that turned me away from EVER going back is they sanded my nails way too much so when I got my nails taken off there are dents where the fake nails were on each nail which I have never experienced before even though I have tried many place to get my nails done. read more

Normally i come here but the last two times have been over crowded. The nail techs have talent and potential but today my nails look crappy un even and miss shaped i am highly disappointed that when u mention it they ignore me talking bout it look good noo its crooked so here i am at a new shop redoing my nails smh will not be going back . This gas happened twice in a row so no more dont get me wrong my nails have look flawless coming here before and ive bragged about tgis shop but yall need to get it together read more

I went to get my acrylics taken off because I knew it wasn't good for your nails to do it on your own. Had I known what this guy was going to do, I just would've. He did not soak, file, or use any sort of drill to file them down before literally ripping them off using another acrylic. I was wincing in pain and kept taking my hand away from him, just as a reaction to the pain. After he finished the first hand, I asked him if there was another way he could take them off because it was hurting really bad. He looked up at me, giggled, and said "almost done." as we still had a whole other hand to go. The pain got so bad I had to turn on one of the fans myself because I started sweating, feeling dizzy & nauseated because this man was slicing my finger nails open with a piece of plastic. Once he was done, he told me to go wash my hands. I walked to the bathroom and immediately passed out. Luckily I know myself and was able to get myself together and get out of there safely, but for him to not read the situation when I asked him if there was a different way to do it or making a scene because of how bad it hurt (I wasn't even trying to be dramatic, I have like 10 tattoos and this hurt worse than every single one of them) showed that he didn't give a fuck about how I felt and just wanted to get it done and get his money. If you don't have the time to do a service properly, tell me that. Don't rush it and then cause a few months worth of healing time for my nails when I could've gone anywhere else in town and they would have done it correctly. My mom went to Pro Nails and the woman there soaked her nails 3 separate times because they wouldn't come off. That's how it is supposed to be done, clearly they care about their clients, whereas these people do not. He knew it was hurting me too because even he was making a face when he would slide the nail under mine. DO NOT go here, they clearly do not give a single fuck about nail health, and that's the most important thing about a nail salon. Absolute bizarre behavior, especially from the owner of said salon. read more
