This Salon is amazing. Husband and wife owns it and i called to make an appointment and we were running a little late but the husband said it's okay. I have gotten my toe done before by a different company in Yakima, but this time it was very different and so much better. The husband and wife took turns doing my toes. This is my third visit to Lotus, yet my first set of nails. This is a husband/wife operation and I have found both of them to be very intentional in their manicure/pedicure services. They are kind and courteous. I've been both a "walk-in " and an appointment, both of which they were able to provide me a seat immediately. Their establishment is spotless and smells fresh and clean. Their prices for services are competitive to the market but their personal service is far above average. A++ read more

Husband and wife team. No other employees on this day. The man did my manicure and pedicure. He was very rough with the massage on my feet and hands. The manicure was done at the pedicure chair. He removed my cuticles dry, very rough with the instrument, painful. Not professional, bad technique, poor customer service, rude. He hollered at me when I began to get up from the pedicure chair stating only he could let me out when he lifted the arm of the pedicure chair. The one customer in the store looked quite alarmed after this occurrence. Not sure why I gave him a small tip. I should not have. I think I was in shock! I will not return to this establishment. read more

Today I had my eyebrows and lip waxed. She did a wonderful job! She was so meticulous. After she finished the waxing she tweezed more and made the job perfect. When she was done she swabbed the area with moisturizer. read more

Okay, so I've been on a search, far and wide throughout Yakima for a good nail salon because I love having nice nails. The last couple places I went to, I felt really rushed, I constantly got cut up from the technicians working on me, and I was not comfortable in the environment. I found this glorious gem today. I wanted a fill and shellac. Lisa was so careful and took her time! I was so thankful for her attention to detail! I got my beautiful champagne glitter nails done and could not complain about a single thing. *Side note* The salon was amazingly clean, did not reek of acylic, and was a very comfortable environment. I'm coming back every three weeks for my fill and shellac color! BTW, my fill and shellac was $32.50 if that helps :) read more

It's was close and they had an opening so I thought I'd give it a shot. She suggested that my acrylics needed to be redone and since I'd been meaning to do it i agreed. Removal was really painful and they ripped one of my nails to the point of bleeding. Nails ended up wide and flat and not natural looking. Color is uneven, already getting bubbles and tips are uneven and not smooth. Honestly worst fill and gel polish job I've had in years. Plus it was $50. Do not waste your money. read more

Do NOT go here. Not only was the service incredibly rude, but their technique was extremely outdated. Service: I was yelled at because I asked them to do a "longer" technique when taking off my shellac nails. The owner continued to push his "quicker" way, despite my protests. Wow! It's not often that I can walk into a nail salon and feel instantly comfortable and confident that I made the right choice! The salon is bright and immaculate with friendly staff that great you on arrival as you enter their calm, uncrowded, quiet environment. The spa chairs look new and plush with a vibration that is massaging and soothing versus jolting and knobby feeling. Sau is a delight and provides a great foot massage and knows how to smooth away the callousness to where my feet feel soft and silken (and they oh so needed it!). And beyond all of this, everything looks clean and sanitized! Having spent 2 years clearing up a toenail fungus from a bad pedicure experience, this is an absolute priority for me. Came into this location on Saturday. They had one person working and she told me she was booked tell close. She schedule for me to come in on Sunday at noon. I showed up before noon. The same lady was working and she had just filled the 12 o'clock hour. She asked if I could come back in one hour.
