Mr. Abate was very prompt in getting back to me for an estimate. I took off the day from work to let him see what needs to be done and he arrived on time. After the initial visit, I thought I would get an estimate in a few days, a week at the latest. However, I got no estimate. After a week, I emailed Mr. Abate after the holiday, thinking that it's a busy time for families and to take that into consideration. He replied, stating that he would get the estimate to me the following day. I told him to take his time, thinking that another week would be the maximum time that I would have to wait. Unfortunately, it's been about a month, and I still haven't received an estimate. I didn't bother reminding him again because I can take a hint. That's fine, if you don't want to do a job, just let the potential client know, so we can find someone else. I wanted to get the paint job done before some medical considerations and even getting to this point was a big deal for me due to some health issues, but I will have to delay a new paint job for a few months now because of the delay in getting the estimate back.

He has a very down to earth and genuine personality, and truly values 100% total customer satisfaction. I called him to inquire about his services, left a voicemail, and received a phone call back from him within the hour. He was at our door at 8am the next morning to do a walkthrough before pricing out the job. Even though we knew the exact job needed, he wanted to ensure he really understood the lay of the land and provided an accurate quote, which he turned around the same day of the inspection. After agreeing to the price (which was super market competitive!), we scheduled our service for the following week. John and his team arrived on time and even texted me ahead of time as a friendly reminder of our appointment. They did a fantastic job - we are SO happy with the results! Truly professional work, and I am so happy we spent the money to do something we could have easily done ourselves - which wouldn't have even turned out half as good as the work John's team did. The process of getting an estimate over the phone was new to us (as we typically have to schedule appointments with contractors) but the quote actually came in very close to the in-person estimates we had done with other Naperville painting contractors. The price was very competitive and Andre was very professional and knowledgable over the phone so we booked our painting job the next day. Shortly after booking, Andre arranged for a color design expert from Sherwin Williams (complimentary with the paint job) to help us pick out interior wall colors and we were set to start our painting project the very next week. Improovy's professional paint crews were on-time, friendly, and very responsive to our needs. We are truly happy with their work, their attitude, and the overall professionalism of the painters.
