I had been coming to this eyebrow spot for some time now, the last time I came here was before an important event and when I went there I explained that the front part of my eyebrow isn't to be adjusting just cleaned up because it's growing back from another location that messed it up. Whoever the new lady was, MADE IT SHORTER FROM THE INSIDE TO THE MIDDLE! I left so upset. I had my graduation photos this weekend 5/1/2026 and was last minute so I decided to give it another try. Walk in, SAME LADY! I'm big on benefit of the doubt and was thinking, "Okay, maybe she misheard me last time" so I gave her a second chance. I told her, "JUST A CLEAN UP PLEASE! I have a photoshoot." She did what I asked and will say she redeemed herself. However, I will say that she did go to rough that I have some little scabs -- I'm not sensitive so it's no biggy for me but I mean, just something to not. I'll be honest, I'll go back IF I AM ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE. Otherwise, I'm going to have to find another place because the new staff member they have, makes me a bit weary. read more

I've been coming to JS for the past two years and was consistently thrilled with the results--my brows were always on point. However, in the last 4-5 months, something seems to have changed, possibly due to new staff. During my most recent 3-4 visits, the quality has noticeably declined. My brows have been left patchy and uneven--sometimes with full sections missed (which I've had to point out), and other times over-threaded. On my last visit, the natural arch of my brows was essentially threaded off. I used to have medium-full brows with a defined shape, and now I've had to go months without touching them just to get some growth back. Unfortunately, it's time for me to find a new brow studio. I hope they can return to the quality and consistency they once had. read more

BEWARE! Do not come to this threading place unless you are okay with risking losing almost HALF your eyebrow!! I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for almost 7 years and never had an experience like this. I came in about a month ago for eyebrow threading and asked for my usual "please just clean up, take away as little as possible," etc. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the end results. My eyebrows were butchered, patchy, uneven, and almost half the size!! I wanted to wait about a month before writing this review to see if time would help in regaining hair that was taken away. I am not sure my eyebrows will ever be the same again thanks to this place. The person who did my eyebrows clearly had little experience and should not be threading. If you are looking for a place to get your eyebrows done, DO NOT COME HERE! Unless you are okay with getting HALF of your brow completely shaved off and with patches! read more

I usually go to Beauty by Thread at Arden, but was in the area so I gave this spot a chance. I went late Sunday afternoon. There were two people ahead of me, and was told it was a 30 minute wait. I thought that was odd. She was neither friendly or mean - just blunt. It turns out somebody called in sick and there was only one person there, and somebody had scheduled an appointment (but didn't show up). I ended up having to wait maybe 15 minutes tops. The shaping of my brows were fine since it was a clean-up only. She did a thorough job on my upper lip as well. The biggest negative is the lady doing the threading was heavy-handed and actually broke the thread. I noticed she was heavy-handed with the two clients before me as well. There was no cooling gel offered - I guess you have to request that. I am going to stick with Beauty by Thread despite the drive to the mall. For the same price, the threading is gentler and just as thorough, and you get a cooling gel. read more

Horrible service. The lady rushed through the job, keeping in mind there was one person waiting. She even cut me in the process and didn't even apologize. My eyebrows are uneven and I specifically told her that I don't want it thin and to be careful with my eyelash extensions. She ripped my inner corner eyelash extensions are now ruined. Today I came in and even brought my father in law so he can get a little pampered. I simply asked for her to clean my brows. Before getting started I showed her exactly what I wanted . I repeated myself over and over to NOT shape my brows just clean. I've been really trying to grow out my brows so I can get back my thick brows After minutes of getting my eyes flicked and excessive unneeded aggression I am left with completely different brows; An arch and a complete look that I was so desperately trying to avoid. * What's the rush? At the time we were the only two people in there no one else. When I came in they were on there phones waiting for customers so they couldn't have been in a hurry to do something after. So why rush through and make a paying customer feel like a burden? * I waited weeks to grow out my brows, I rarely wear makeup so I am dependent on my natural brows because I hate filling them in. Saddest part is this isn't the first time! What's the point of asking for something for them to completely ignore you and do as they wish. After 2 years of bringing family and friends here, even referring strangers, never using the "free" eyebrow card, I am absolutely done with this establishment. I really like the pink walls and cleanliness of this place. And of course, the service is amazing! The only things I don't like are that the chemical agents they use to clean are apparent and can mildly linger throughout your service. I also think they should should use lotion or aloe to soothe the sting after threading like other threading places I've been to. I only come here with my boyfriend and it's conveniently located off the freeway. They also open late, so we can come here after visit/work. I've been here a few times now because a friend recommended this place. I'm so glad she did because of the price and service. Sometimes there is a line, but I never have to wait too long. I think max time was 10 minutes. When they're ready, I head over to the chair and tell them I want a soft arch. They give me that and are careful. The staff also recommends eyebrow widths and shape that match your face. I typically like my eyebrow a bit thinner than my natural, and they tell me it'd look weird if they go thinner, which I really appreciate! Upon one visit, they were closed for an hour for lunch. So I guess lunch hours may vary depending if they're busy....? Keep in mind, it's only natural if you leave with a few cuts. It's threading and it's quick, but cuts heal within 2 - 3 days and my brows last for a month. It's def no big deal. My only suggestion is that they apply something after threading services because I have left the store with a stinging sensation; but again, that's natural with threading anywhere. The prices are really economical and a little bit cheaper than surrounding locations. There's also a stamp card. A complimentary eyebrow or upper lip service is redeemable after 6 stamps. Don't forget to ask for it! read more

When I pointed it out the lady just replied with "you have no more hair to fix" that's because she took all the hair out!!The only reason I went back the second time was because I thought the girl who did it the first time did a wonderful job. I used to pay 20 bucks at benefit to get my brows done because it seemed like the only spot that can give me a nice sharp arch but after finding this place I will come here from now on and it's only 10 bucks!! Decided to stop by here after work one day and boy was I pleased. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the girl at the front desk. She then asked me what service I wanted and promptly told me to take a seat in the chair. I decided to try out their eyebrow service as I saw that you got a $2.00 off with our first check-in. The worker did my eyebrows in under 15 minutes and did an extremely great job. She listened to what I asked for and followed it to the tee. I had my eyebrows threaded today by Sandy. This was my first time at JS Threading. I have been going to Beauty By Thread at the Arden Fair Mall for the past four years, but lately I try to avoid going to the mall at all costs (traffic, parking, safety issues, etc.) JS Threading is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. The salon itself is spacious and seems clean. When I arrived, on a Saturday afternoon, Sandy was the only one working, but it also wasn't very busy. I waited for her to finish up with one person and then she helped me. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Sandy did a pretty good job, I can't complain! I will say, the thread doesn't seem as soft as it is at Beauty By Thread. Also, I wasn't offered any cooling gel, which is usually my favorite part of an eyebrow threading. I will be back! read more
