I have been coming here for over 10 years and this is one of my favorite spots to go get my nails done. The pedicure service is really great and I always get the tropical one which comes with fresh fruit also they do have a gel mask for your legs and did you a hot stone and I love the wax on your foot as well. I really like coming here for the service they actually treat you like you are family and they are very patient and always take care of my ingrown nails. I also like the parking here which is really easy to get in and out and also I can also take the bus which is very accessible. If you are in the West Sac area this is a spot to not be missed for any pedicure and manicures. The vibe is always very hole in the wall and Hidden Gem. Looking for a new spot for pedi/manis. Checked the reviews and found Harbor Nails. Called and got an appt immediately. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and taken to the chair. Daisy did my pedicure and Landin did the manicure. I did had the honey blossom pedi. It was incredible. I love a firm massage and appreciate focus on cuticles and any potential ingrown nail issues. The massages were amazing for both mani and pedi. If I can make a suggestion to everyone... when you go into a business, communicate what you want or need. If you don't it's not fair to blame the business. Landin and Daisy were both so attentive and I will be back. What makes this place even better, is that the rest of the staff were also very nice. Terrible service! Ive been here about 6 times in the past 4 years. I just moved back and went here to get my nails done. Unfortunately I went to get my nails done in my pjs, which they didn't like, so they made me pay prior to painting nails. The man was super hostile and aggressive about it, so awkward and he made a scene. He justified it as he's done nails for 30 years and tried to tell me its normal to pay mid or before service.... Very blunt and rude saying never been there and its a normal practice. The profiling, discrimination, gaslighting and embarrassing treatment in a salon that doesn't value its customer is not where I would want to spend my money. The acrylic nails I got done after paying prior were inconsistent, thick and lumpy and thick! I got gel and the started chipping and flaking off the first day I got them. I also asked for coffin nails and they were rectangle... press ons would have been nicer. You get what you pay for... the solan REEKS! And the chemicals they use burned the hell out of my skin, did they care? No. Depressing vibes. I feel bad for the women working here. As much as I love the pedicures the brow service was not my goto. Literally got a wax for brows for 12 dollars and all she did was wax off extra hairs when i could have just used a tweezer myself. No shaping or trimming when I asked for it. I just pay and go and would rather go to my old waxing salon for this that takes their time with my brows and doesnt take 1 minute. Harbor Nail Spa is my go to for pedicures. They do an absolutely amazing job, and I leave there feeling totally pampered. I've tried several different versions of their pedicures, and I can easily recommend all of them. Some take a little bit longer than others, and if you have the time, it's absolutely worth it. The tropical fruit pedicure by far is my go for a pedicure splurge, and my calves and feet not only love the pampering, but feel amazing even hours later. Their callus remover technique is the best I've had in Sacramento. The attention to detail in making sure that calluses, dry skin, etc. are all gone is consistently good. I rarely have the same person doing my pedicures, and all if the women have been great. I do love the warm wax during my pedicures. I feel like it's that extra touch to smooth and moisturize my skin. It's like dipping your feet into a warm bath. The biggest challenge I have is deciding on which color polish I want. The selection seems to be endless! First time I had my nails done it was good. The second time it was a disaster. Two days after I received acrylic tips one popped off. I noticed the bed of my nail was green. The next day I went to Luxury nails next to the Nugget to get it fixed and they had to remove all my nails and redo them. I had two nails that had turned green. When I looked up green nails this is what I got "Green nail syndrome is a mild bacterial infection." This nail spa is so clean it's spotless! Everyone wears gloves, spa beds are lined, no sign of dust anywhere, floors are clean, and everything is in its spot! Their services are also priced lower than other nearby locations. This is my major key thing that I look for when going to a nail salon - must be clean and organized. I always come as soon as they open and there isn't a wait. If you prefer appointments, then call and they usually have same day available. All of the staff are nice and friendly! That's a major plus! This was my very first visit here, as I needed nails done asap for a wedding. I looked at the reviews and was happy with most of them, so I decided to go in. I asked for a natural dip powder look without tips. Just a simple, thin, classy look. The owner claimed that Mary was the best for dip powder. Wow. I didn't realize how stubby the nails looked until I came into the sun. That was by far the worst nails I've ever had done. My husband called them fat globs. I went to another salon to get them filed down, but it didn't do much, because if they did anymore filing and color will be gone. I give this a two star --only because they were going to do my broken nail even though I had never been to the salon, However, the woman's attitude was bad about fixing a broken nail. I told her it was an emergency fix and I know they don't have the same colors, but when I tried to pick the color of the tips which were red she wasn't reasonable she said the color I picked didn't match and it wouldn't match the others at all. The color I chose was the closest to my nails. All she wanted to do was argue and get rude instead of meet me half way. I was only looking for a quick fix especially since the school I teach at has track and field day tomorrow and I had an appointment scheduled for the evening. She sat me down to have the job get done but then after I tried to pick the color she was argumentative and completely rude right in front of several customers --so I left. Some people want to be part of the solution while others in our society only want to remain part of the problem. I can't control others' actions but I can take complete control of my own. This was the worse manicure I've ever received. It should have been a very simple job, a gel manicure, just a solid color. My manicurist hurt me several times while clipping at my cuticles. She cut my nails with jagged edges, failed to file them smooth, then proceeded to get polish all over my cuticles and the tips of my fingers. When I pointed out some of jagged edges she attempted to fix them but ended up making it worse. I gave up, figuring I would be better off doing clean up on my own afterward.
