Took my friend here to get her eye brows done for her birthday, and man was she excited. She fell in love with her eye brows and I personally think a phenomenal job was done as well. They had some great customer support, a pretty nice interior, and a professional environment. I don't get my eyebrows done, but from what Ms. Jassi did to my friend, the 5 stars were justified. Went in late 2020. It's not called Pink Rose, it's inside of a hair salon she rents. The room is dimly lit and dirty. She's a nice lady but terrible service. The wax machine is not hygienic, and goes on everyone bare. She will to charge you more for "strong/thick" hair and will complain as if you're not there, then beg you for a tip. Jass' place is disgusting. She uses products from Sally's. These are not professional quality. Yes, she may have a certificate, but that's as far as that goes. Yeah, she will talk to you and distract you, but you do not get what you paid for. The quality is not there. The service is not there. She tries to lump as much hair to rip into one pull as possible rather than taking her time. SOOOOO MUCH HAIR LEFT OVER!!! LIKE, AN OBSCENE AMOUNT COVETED UP WITH OIL AFTERWARDS SO YOU HAVE NO IDEA. Totally dissatisfied with the service, would NOT recommend to anyone. The place is really dirty. Just walk in for yourself, but don't be pressured to stay, you will see. If you do stay, like I did, you will notice, things are not sanitary. She reuses the same bottle used on everyone for everyone for the wax but assures that it's OK!!! These are not singular sticks or singular pads, but rather a bottle spread on your body. The prices make sense. Groupon prices are the same as walk in prices. She is very nice so I feel bad giving her one review but I have to rate strictly on her services. Not that the salon is called Rose salon when you get there not pink rose so I wasn't 100% sure I had the right place. I made an appointment and still waited 30 minute. Also it's $26 on Groupon for 1 and $20each when you buy three together. I called to make an appointment and she said "if you pay cash I'll give you the Groupon price, $30". She knows exactly what she's doing. Makes you seem like you got a deal but she's really charging normal price. Thumbs down for dishonesty. But now for the wax itself. She didn't always pull the skin tight so there were certain areas it hurt so bad because it was yanking my skin. At the end she went over with threading and tweezing which I loved! Unfortunately when I got home and showered I noticed there were several areas that were not waxed. It took about 2 days to get nasty little bumps as if I had shaved. About a 4 days for little hairs to start growing back again. Overall I might as well shaved because there were patches left behind, "razor" bumps, hair vowing back immediately, irritated skin and a painful process. read more

That being said, there were some negative reviews being said about her service and all I have to say about those is if you wanted better service than you should probably pay more for your wax rather than purchasing a Groupon! Although the area wasn't the nicest, you can tell Jessie works hard to make sure you get the most out of your purchase. Just do not go here I purchased a Groupon and she could not provide the extra care that European wax would do if your hair is too long she will turn you down and tr to charge more. If its too short she will complain and she is not professional about it. She tries to get over all the time so even if you purchased a Groupon she will attempt to charge you more for some unacceptable reason. Cleanliness, sanitation, & privacy are MAJOR areas of concern. She called me into her room as her previous client was still getting ready to leave the room, although fully clothed already she was still getting together all her belongings and wanted to ask questions. She didn't even throw away the sheet she used for the previous client. The sheet and the USED wax strips still on the bed. I've never had an esthetician not use hard wax on my Brazilians before. She didn't use hard wax stating that my hair was thin so i didn't need hard wax. Definitely not gentle at all. It seemed like she was in a rush to get to the next customer. As I'm still getting dressed, she already has the door slightly opened waiting for me to hurry up. I felt so rushed but the entire wax process was quick. Maybe too quick because I still have a few strands of hair. She puts the oil on and then gives you the mirror to check but With the oil on, you can't tell there's hair left. I told her I didn't want to pay twice and had already paid for the Groupon and she requested I Venmo her and ask for a refund but don't tell Groupon that she rejected my Groupon. What? BEWARE: Reviews are fake. Where do I start? First off making an appointment on the phone, she just answers with HELLO, no introduction/formal greeting. Secondly, I changed my appointment time to an hour later DAYS beforehand. She calls me an hour before my time and ask why I didn't come, I had to remind her I set it for an hour back. Third, when you go it's not called PinkRose it's called Rose Nails and it's inside a small, sketchy room. She uses a wax applicator that goes on the everyone's bare skin and pulls extremely hard. She said next time I come with my hair grown out, she'll charge extra, because it's "too much". You're suppose to grow the hair out to wax right? While doing the wax she's sighing as if she's the one in the pain. She then ask how I want to pay, which I say I did on the Groupon, then says "NO. TIP" and said it's a law to tip. A tip is a choice and if your satisfied with service. I left bleeding and sticking to my clothes with wax on my behind and hands. The lady is ok when she talks to you normally, but the wax was a nightmare. You get what you pay for. read more
