I purchased an eyebrow microblading service with a 6-week touch-up through Groupon as a gift for my girlfriend, but unfortunately the entire experience has been very disappointing. Scheduling the appointment is done through text messages. The website is misleading as it appears you can book an appointment at a wide range of time slots; however those times are not true to the owner's availability. The website also does not allow you to book the touch-up, and those appointments must also be arranged via text. Many of my messages have gone unanswered (read receipts to prove that), making it challenging to secure an appointment within the recommended timeframe. My girlfriend's initial appointment was in January, and it is not April and she still has not received the follow-up appointment. Additionally, punctuality was an issue during the initial appointment, and the overall experience was extremely unprofessional. I chose this business because through research, it seemed like a great professional business, but that has proven not to be the case. Overall, due to the lack of communication, scheduling difficulties, and unprofessional environment, I would not recommend wasting time or money on this business! I left the appointment feeling like a million bucks! I am a perfectionist and my eyebrows always had some issues with them. I got tired of painting over them and decided to go to browvation. I made the appointment with coco. Initially i was skeptical because of one review but i decided to give her a chance and boy am i glad i did.! First is customer service: her personality is very good, she talks to you like a friend and make you feel comfortable Second my brows. I politely asked you to STOP harassing me Coco. If you were smart you would use this post to grow and become better at what you do. But instead you choose to harass me. I am reporting you to Yelp and if you and friends continue, I will report you to the authorities thank you. *Update 2/25/18 Being harassed by owner "Cordelia" AKA CoCo therefore, 1 Star. I would have given this place 1 star but because Maria tried her best to save my eyebrows. Therefore, I have given this place 2 stars. I have hypothyroidism, And when its really bad, it causes my eyebrows hairs to fall out on the outter corners. I have done intensive research on microblading and choose browvation because they had posted their work on there website. And although Appx. 100 miles and almost 6 hours of traveling (depending on traffic) I choose to have my eyebrows microbladed. I did ask for the person who was responsible for the eyebrows in the photos. ( Now, I know it was Maria because CoCo has zero clue of how to make a hair like stroke and seem to lack professional microblading traning) although, Coco took credit for the online photos. First off CoCo messed up my eyebrows. She made them different shapes although I stated, and made VERY clear my eyebrows are curved and want them to remain that way. She still went ahead and tried to arch the right eyebrow. ( So, imagine a curved eyebrow and one arched eyebrow on your face... my thoughts, exactly) She also suggest an ink with a blue under tone. She said most of her dark haired clients choose (btw, my hair is jet black)...well I am not a professional and decided to go with her suggestion. (I did ask if it will turn green or blue over time like a regular tattoo...she said no. Microblading is not a tattoo) Well... My eyebrows were different shapes and just a frigging hot mess. She had another client and suggesting I wait for the scabs to fall off. But when I got home I realized my the eyebrows did not match, and one was higher than the other. WTF! How reckless to send me off into the world looking like a frigging Clown? I messaged and called CoCo the following day to explain my discontent. A week past the ink she used on my eyebrows started to look blueish. She give me some push back but agreed to the fix as per browvation policy, mind you I pre-paid for a 6 week follow-up to fill in, in the event of fading.(providing they were done correctly the first time.) They offered a free 2 week fix.(As per policy) I choose to return after a week because my eyebrows looked horrible. Thank God I choose Maria this time...she fixed the mess and I left feeling relieved. She did the best she could since CoCo already made harsh thick lines. Does not look like hair strokes like microblading is supposed to look like. The lines are supposed to look like "hair" and very natural. Her strokes were thick, long and deep lines like a tattoo. 0o Dear CoCo, leave the microblading to someone who knows what they are doing you clearly don't. And your EGO will not allow you to accept the responsibility of admitting you messed up my eyebrows BIG TIME. I find you to be deliberately malicious and bias against certain ethnicities. You should not own a business which offer services to the public if you are afraid or dislike certain members of the human population. My mom and I had a great experience with Teresa. We absolutely love our brows. They look so natural! My mom was visiting from the east coast and Teresa was able to fit us in on her day off. She made excuses as to why they would not work with me after I purchased through Groupon two different specials. Coco took her time with my consultation making sure my brows were exactly how I wanted them before I comitted to mircoblading. The procedure was much less painful than I expected, she took about 40 minutes to make sure I was numb with a topical anesthetic, the mirco blading itself took about an hour and my results were amazing.
