This review can only address working with one sales broker for two weeks. I called trying to buy an…read moreunusual insurance product (non-owner car insurance), and was fully prepared for the answer to possibly be no. However, the broker repeatedly assured me that he had me covered and would be able to find something. I even told him that I was not working with other brokers, because he was so confident he could find something. I called on multiple occasions to follow up, and on a Monday was told it would take a little extra time to hear back from State Farm. When I called again on Friday, it turns out that he had heard at the beginning of the week that there was no policy option and forgot to call me back. I explained that because of that delay I would possibly need to pay a worse rate for a rental car since I wouldn't have the option to drive a family car. His response to this included inviting me to come to him for my future insurance needs and recommending him to my friends. He may have just been on autopilot, but that is a very tone deaf response to dropping the ball on service, and I was disappointed by the combo of over-promising and failing on basic communication.
