The environment is very warm and inviting for those both new to working out as well as those experienced and knowledgeable in a gym environment. Throughout the time I have been here the equipment has been added and updated and the facility is always impeccably clean. I have been thoroughly impressed by the owner Paul and how much pride he has in his gym . He is personable, approachable, knowledgeable and involved in all aspects from personal training to group fitness and even seen cleaning the facility himself. The staff members (Herb) show similar pride and knowledge. The facility itself may not be large compared to some but to me this is an advantage. I am rarely waiting on equipment and am impressed on the array of equipment available and the set up of the gym.

I am not new to Pilates and the owner was relentless in trying to gaslight me into buying a package for private sessions, which I cannot afford. The owner doesn't know to conduct herself ethically, and they repeatedly over charged my credit card to the point where I had to report them to my credit card company as fraud and had to cancel the card they had on file for me. The owner is a raving lunatic and so abusive. She yells at and demeans her staff in front of clients. It's no wonder there's such a high turn over with instructors, and anyone good instructor ends up quitting. The owner is socially inappropriate, she talks down to and is condescending to clients, she over shares intimate details of her dysfunctional personal life with clients, she has zero personal and professional boundaries, and clearly has a problem with alcohol. She's beyond inappropriate with clients, and has a history of engaging in sexual relationships with married male clients and when caught, then cries that she's a victim of sexual assault. She is mentally unstable! She has instructors who just became certified running her teacher training, which is beyond inappropriate. With so many Pilates studios in Metro Detroit, do yourself a favor and avoid this awful place like the plague. You'll thank me later!
