I grew up on Juan Pollo and used to eat at both of their Resurants in San Bernardino and a few others here and their for lunch throughout the IE. All of them except for this one in Hemet has sarrono chilies and sliced limons layed out for the customers convince as condiments so I have never heard of a Juan Pollo without limon and chili. At this Juan Pollo you had to ask for it and they give you one little slice, like really. So I stopped going there for a few years because they have a Jauns Rotisory in San Jacinto, but recently I stopped by and got a family special and asked for Limon and they looked at me like I was asking for and extra wholechicken and said "no Limon here", like the chicken is not all that and kind of dry the rice is different and the salsa has a different tang to it because I guess there not Juan Pollo anymore,there some other chicken place but who eats chicken without limon.so I don't know if I will be going to this one all the time like the old days. They get 2 stars from me but I have to say their potato salad is good. But for me I'm a condiment kind of man, you don't have my limon you don't have my service. read more

Placed a to go order and went in to pick it up. Place was very dirty, it smelled as if the bathroom wasn't working properly, and there were flies everywhere. Needless to say I lost my urge for lunch. This place has gone down hill and they need to get it cleaned up or close. Try Juan's Roto Chicken at Esplanade and Sanderson instead if you like a clean joint. read more

I was driving home, on a Friday from work, wondering what to pick up for the family for dinner. I noticed Juan Pollo in the corner of my I and swung in. I'd had it, as a catered meal, at work and remembered it was very tasty! I walked in and ordered the Family Pack (2 nice size Chickens) and BOOM, the cook chopped it up and packed it ready to go in no time flat. eating at home reminded me of the excellent potato salad, beans and rice, salsa and tortillas....REAL GOOD and a great compliment for the chicken ! The chicken is broasted to perfection, with a really nice seasoning. My wife was pleasantly surprised, after seeming a little confused when i first placed it on the table. What a great, easy/convenient and affordable meal Fantastic service and great experience. Had much left over for Saturday leftovers. We'll be back again.....Mmmmm, that potato salad!! read more

I enjoy the Tuesday special...TWO chickens for $12!!! It comes with salsa and tortillas. I debone the chicken when I get home, use 1 to make chicken salad using their HOT salsa and mayo. Also add garlic powder and some Adobo seasoning...then I have chicken salad for a couple of days!!! The other chicken, I put in double freezer bags and defrost in the fridge the night before if I want chicken salad or to make chicken vegetable soup!!! Got a jumbo meal for a small birthday party. It was more than enough food for a great price. The girl at the counter was really sweet and very good at customer service. She helped me with what I needed for the party and make sure everything was good to go. Their service is very fast and their food is delicious. It looks like a little hole in the wall but those are the best places to eat! I was soooo happy when Patty and company came to Hemet!!! As a teenager we use to pile up in a car and head out to the Euclid Blvd store in Ontario, it was sooo much fun and the chicken and potato salad were scrumptious. El pollo loco has always been a favorite and when i moved to hemet there wasn't one close to my house. I decided to give this place a try and was very pleased. I loved that they had potato salad since el pollo loco stopped carrying it many years ago. I'm torn between which resteraunt i enjoy more now. The potato salad is really good though the chicken is dry and overcooked . You don't notice it so much when it's hot but if it cools off you will be eating sawdust. If you are looking for a healthy alternative to KFC this will do in a pinch. Don't ask me why but we have tried this place several times. I think this will be the last for chicken...but will go for potato salad. read more

This is always an easy lunch or dinner choice for me since I love juicy rotisserie chicken. The food is always hot and fresh and this location has consistently good service. I could order a small family pack any day that comes with a whole chicken, choice of flour or corn tortillas, beans, rice, A-MAZING homemeade potato salad (could you tell this is my favorite side dish from them?) and fresh salsa...my favorite is the hot salsa. When I am lunching alone, I just order a chicken burrito that is good for 2-3 meals for me and comes with a small potato salad and salsa. I also love that they have my favorite Mexican drinks-tamarindo, jamaica, and pina colada. This is a franchise so the menu is the same at all locations. My only complaints would be that the rice is a bit bland and unremarkable, they really don't give enough salsa and will charge if you request extra...so usually I just take my meal home and use my own supply of salsa. read more

We had Juan Pollo of Hemet cater a party for 70 people. They delivered the food right on time as promised. Everyone loved the meal and asked where it was from. Ordered a Mini dinner 1 chicken and trimmings $18, Got the chicken back to my office and the BREAST was so dry while I was on the phone to Juan Pollo I was choking as I couldn't swallow the chicken it was so dry. My staff said it was like eating sand and was so dry. I got back and spoke to the Son of the owner and their POLICY is NO refunds no matter what! He tried to give me another chicken that was from the same bunch that was cooked and sitting in the warmer drying out. It was almost chicken Jerky. I ate at a Juan Pollo about 15 years ago and never went back until now that's how bad it was then and now. The owners son was a JERK and I called him several names to boot. I called the police and he did too. The officer told me that he doesn't blame me for not ever going back as he has eaten there before. I read the reviews on this place and they are very dirty looking. I don't know how they pass Inspection with the county. There is a reason they have that No Refund Policy try to guess why? NEVER AGAIN. I have been in business in this small town for 28 years and have many clients. Every chance I get they will also know. read more

Anyone who likes rotisserie chicken HAS to try Juan Pollo! I've eaten numerous times at the Hemet location (corner of Florida and San Jacinto) and not only is the food outstanding, the owners are wonderful -- very friendly people! It always seems like part of their extended family is there whenever I visit and I guess that gives the place a nice, warm family atmosphere. You get a lot of great food for your money at Juan Pollo. Very reasonable prices, too! I have only eaten at what I guess is their main competitor (Pollo Loco) once but the food I had there cannot compare with Juan Pollo. Incidentally, I'm a fanatic about their potato salad -- in fact, writing this review is making my mouth watering thinking not only of Juan Pollo's tender, marinated chicken but also of the potato salad (you have a choice of that, rice and Mexican beans for the side orders which are served with all chicken orders. A delicious and healthy menu served by friendly people -- what more could anyone ask for? read more
