I've been going to Steve's burgers for over 20 years. The food is always delicious. And the service is great!!!!! Lately I been getting there salads that feed me for lunch and dinner because, there so big. I also just ordered a tostada and it was great. I've been coming to this location for decades and have never had an experience like this. We were charged twice, then told our card had been declined. After reviewing our account, we found an additional charge. When we tried to speak with an employee, no one would come to the window to explain what happened. We have disputed the charges and reported the issue to our bank. Very disappointing experience and extremely frustrating customer service. Double-check your account before leaving. read more

HASH-BROWN INTERVENTION TIME... hear me out, I love this spot and it's a Hemet staple but they need to work on their hashbrowns! I ordered a side for the first time at this location, they tasted super bland and also they were shredded into teeny bits like someone threw a potato into a shredder and said "have at em'". The Steve's Burgers West location across town blows this one away with breakfast. I'll admit I loved the ham and egg English Muffin Sandwiches here! The muffin was buttery and toasted to perfection. Overall, I recommend the lunch and dinner here over the breakfast. You won't go wrong with lunch or dinner. The chili cheese fries are AMAZING and so are their sandwiches. The staff is hustling here and they try to get your order out quickly even in long lines. I like coming here because it has an easygoing atmosphere. Note: Parking is very limited and seating is minimal. Only two tables can be found in front of the shack. I recommend take-out. read more

Seriously?!!!! Drove through and ordered a hotdog. I got a hot dog cut in half lengthwise. Yes, 1/2 a hotdog!!!! That was it. And the polish sausage?!! Really? What a massive letdown! Never again. I love coming here. The service is always great. I try really hard not to eat fast food and this place is my compromise. They are really close and have many different options to choose from. Most of the orders are pretty quick but if it takes longer just know that it is being cooked fresh. I love their breaded zucchini and 1/4 hamburger. My husband enjoys the steak and shrimp plate. I also love their chicken sandwiches. Their fries portion is usually outrageous and you have to share lol . This is my go to place when I want something quick and do not feel like cooking. Never Again! Ordered Taquitos and Tuna melt. The nice gentleman who took my order asked me if I wanted the guacamole or the guacamole sauce that came with it. I told him I wanted the order 3 taquitos with guacamole, whatever came with it. So I get my order and the "guacamole sauce" is a small container and it was basically white with a tinge of green. The food is pretty good at Steve's, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I was charged an extra $0.50 for adding on a coke at the window and I had no problem with because it was super hot again today (worst heat wave in years) and my a/c was not keeping us cool, so I gladly paid it, but for some reason it perturbed the gal at the drive thru window. She suddenly fired of with an attitude. Then she handed us our coke and debit card back. As my girl started pulling away from the window I asked her where is the receipt since I wanted to see what the total charge was for adding-on the coke, so I told my girl 2 park in the shade and she could eat while I figured out the receipt information. I never bought a breakfast burrito anywhere but Steve's and Oryz. Usually Steve's are very good. Today I ordered it the same way I always do, ordering it with Bacon being the only meat on it. They said if you get Bacon only they put 3 slices on it. I have bought enough breakfast burrito at Steve's to know if there is 3 slices of Bacon on it. usually you can taste the Bacon in every bite. Today the burrito tasted like their 3 meat breakfast burrito without the ham and sausage. It tasted like all potato's and eggs. I am very disappointed and don't know if I will go back. It tasted like they broke up one slice of Bacon up into 3 piece. Next time I will wait in a long line and get my breakfast burrito at Oryz. I live in Valle Vista so, my go to has always been Steve's Jr. Burger for breakfast burritos, just because it's closer and I thought they were the same. WRONG! What a difference! If you want your order to be correct and accurate, don't come here. Their sign says to check your order before you leave cause obviously they've had issues with getting orders way wrong. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich combo, onion rings and chili fries and they gave me a kids meal grilled cheese and small fry! WTH?! It seemed like the bag was heavy enough for the actual food I ordered but nope! What a rip off too and I feel like they owe me money since what I ordered was way more expensive than a kids meal! I only ate the grilled cheese cause I was starving when I got home. And now they won't answer their phone. Pretty upset at this point. Always a great option for a morning/night off of cooking! It's similar to farmer boys in terms of their food quality and the time it takes to get it from the drive though, so it's not "fast food" but convenient food! The turkey bacon melt is awesome! And the French toast breakfast always hits the spot! The breakfast burritos are good but loaded with potatoes, so I always open mine up and rearrange it all to be more even! Big beef patty with tomato, lettuce, pickles, 1000 island sauce & American cheese. The fries where very good also. The tattooed girl at the window was very nice.
