Great birria tacos! Their salsas was so good and very flavorful with multiple options. Pricing is good Customer service was great. We were very excited to find this gem and have told all our friends about it.

Juan's Taqueria version of a California burrito.

I ordered a California Burrito and side of Charro Beans. According to Tio Taco / Taco Fiend on Tik Tok a California Burrito should be made with marinated carne asada, crispy French fries, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream in a warm flour tortilla. It was missing guacamole, sour cream, and had very little cheese if any and I believe the burrito was deep-fried for a slightly crunchy texture. The burrito was tasty and tasted good. For people that don't know better they would probably say it was good also. If I order one again, I will ask for guacamole and sour cream in a warm tortilla not deep-fried. It came with red salsa and a spicy creamy sauce. I would like to see a green salsa added also. The Charro beans were very flavorful. $15 for the burrito was a little high in my opinion.

    Elote

Work friends and family raved about Juan's food so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed! The food was fresh, The salsa was just spicy enough, and the Elote was delicious. I've never had cold Elote, but I would recommend trying this. We are pretty picky about chips in our household and these ranked right up at the top. I would encourage Juan to add queso to the menu as it would go deliciously with his chips. The ground beef taco was delicious as well. While the restaurant is humble and located by a gas station, it is quaint and certainly the food makes it worth the trip.

I stopped at the gas station to use the restroom, saw Juan's and thought why not get a snack.

From the doubled up corn tortillas, to the tender well cooked meat, cilantro and their wonderful sautéed onions these Street style Taco's are as authentic as anything you would get in Mexico. The gratis house chips and Salsa were equally tasty and a nice complement to the Taco's all being washed down with a sugar cane based Mexican coke. The total bill came in at a very reasonable cost of $12 which is a great value in today's economy and a great deal by any standard. Relative to staff and facility, this appears to be a small family run business where the restaurant itself is located in a small strip mall at the corner of Franklin and Square Lake Rd with an equally small footprint for the restaurant. This is a very unpretentious business (think hole in a wall but in a nice way) with a limited number of dining tables and small staff. Having said that, I had no problem in getting seated and getting my order taken and food brought out in fairly quick order! I have been on a kick for a while now trying to find the best taco joint in the the northern Oakland county area and have to say this is as good as I have come across up to now and am a big fan of this business. If you are into well made authentic Mexican street taco's than this is a must visit for you. This was my first visit here and definately will not be my last where I will be combining this dining venue with my regular Bloomfield Hills Costco trips which is a Quarter mile from the restaurant.

We seated ourselves and were greeted by a server. They had music playing in Spanish, which I loved. They brought out homemade chips and salsa that was absolutely delicious. We ordered the chicken fajitas and the chicken flautas for dinner. After about 15 minutes, we got the sizzling plates. The food was so good! The rice was cooked to perfection, the beans were seasoned well and topped with cheese, all the toppings were cut up in a way to eat them easily. Overall, everything was fresh and tasty. It's our new favorite Mexican food spot. We can't wait to go back!

It has character that adds to the experience. We had a fairly large group, we were seated upstairs where it is bright and more spacious than expected. The service was excellent! Very attentive and the food arrived quickly and accurately. The group ordered mostly the carne asada and the Al pastor tacos. It arrives mostly on the same tray and each person grabs their tacos. They were all Presented nicely with tasty toppings. Another person ordered the quesadilla and another ordered a rice bowl, I ordered the wet burrito. It was very big and was filled with a good amount of chicken and lots of rice, topped with queso. We ordered the chips and salsa and the chips and trio, this includes salsa, queso and guacamole. We requested the hot salsa as well. We enjoyed everything! We left full and satisfied. I would certainly eat here again. Great flavors! Quick side note, the prices are on the high side, chips and salsa are not complimentary and each item is ala cart. A side of rice and each salsa, jalapeños etc. gets pricey and when it's added to the tacos priced individually, the bill climbs quickly. Just something to take into consideration when planning an outing.
