This place has fantastic food, and friendly service. They even have vegetarian choices, that are extremely flavorful. Highly recommend

Best authentic Mexican around. Birria tacos are incredible. Prices are very reasonable. Not a bad thing on the menu.

It feels like we are clubbing in here. Can't have a conversation really. The corn chips are not fresh, could be better if they were freshly made. I want the chips to be good. The elote seems to be mixed with the queso, which is really runny. It tastes better, but could be thicker. The guacamole is average, not a lot of flavor to it. Main food orders in after about 15 minutes after we were seated. The flautas are super dry, the chicken that is. The chicken isn't even jerky like, just bark like burnt. The lobster quesadilla tastes rather interesting. On closer examination after the odd texture of the lobster, it had the strangest layers to it, reminds me of the Krab. Something quite odd about their lobster for sure, comes across to me as imitation meat. Hard to describe how weird it was to me, has completely left me at a loss and utterly confused. Meat doesn't have the chew I expected at all, mostly disintegrated in my mouth without biting it and the odd layers really threw me off exceedingly. My husband asked our waitress about the nature of the lobster meat to Nikki. She asked the kitchen if the lobster meat in the quesadilla and enchiladas was real lobster meat. The kitchen of course said yes, it is. I wouldn't have expected anyone to say the lobster meat was imitation though. Such a strange meal and experience tonight.

She got our drinks out quickly (knowing we needed them lol) and took care of the kiddos too. The portions are very big here and I took about half of my food home and enjoyed it later. I got this shrimp plate with rice, avocado and pico. It was very good and flavorful. The place had festive and fun vibes and I loved their playful art on the menus! Good for families, solo or night out with friends!

Here's a Yelp review you could post:…read more We stopped into Sagebrush Cantina for lunch and had a pretty good experience overall. We started with the chips and salsa. The chips tasted homemade, thin and crispy with just the right amount of salt. The salsa was a little thinner than I prefer, but it had a nice kick once it arrived. For our meal, we ordered the chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas. The steak and chicken were both moist, flavorful, and well seasoned. The shrimp, unfortunately, didn't have much flavor, and I was disappointed by the vegetable ratio. There was a huge bed of onions and only about one pepper in the mix. One of the highlights was the steak tacos. The steak was chopped into small pieces, packed generously into the tortillas, and so tender and juicy that you could barely close them. They were absolutely delicious. We also tried the handmade chicken taquitos appetizer. They come cut into smaller pieces rather than whole taquitos, but don't let that fool you. The chicken was finely shredded, the crispy exterior was perfect, and the spicy sauce that came with them was excellent. The portion was surprisingly large and easily shareable. A special shoutout to our server, Parker. He was fantastic. He checked on us frequently without being intrusive, offered menu recommendations, brought us extra tortillas without us even having to ask, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Great service can make a meal memorable, and Parker definitely did that. There is plenty of parking since the restaurant is located in a plaza, though it's easy to drive right past it if you're not paying attention. The only downside was the price. Lunch ended up being around $20 per person, which feels a little high. Still, the quality of the food and excellent service make it a place I'd return to.I'd probably rate that 4 stars: great service, excellent tacos and taquitos, good fajitas overall, a great meal.

Place wasn't busy at all and we sat at the bar. Started with drinks with salsa/chips. Never received napkins/silverware. I went and got napkins myself from the server station. Soup had to be set back because it wasn't hot. I kept saying something was missing from the soup or they changed the recipe. After we finished it, I pulled up the menu online and realized there was no rice! I mean none, not even one grain! None! I don't understand how that can even happen. Didn't bother to tell bartender since we finished it before realizing what was missing, plus she just wasn't attentive. Meal itself was just okay. Had the outrageous chimichanga. There was just a dollop of guacamole/sour cream on top of it. Just felt the whole food experience was lacking, or in the soups case, missing a major item!

El Arbol is definitely a cool spot visually, and I really wanted to love it based on all the great…read morereviews. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was much better than the food for us. The restaurant itself is bright, colorful, clean, and really well designed. I loved the clever bench seating, the bar was well stocked, and there's outdoor seating plus an upstairs area that looked really cool. They also have a walk-up taco window outside, which is a fun idea. We sat in the bar area, and the service was amazing. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The food, though, was really underwhelming. Almost everything we tried lacked seasoning and flavor. I ordered the chicken enchiladas, which had very little chicken and were pretty bland. I did like the very thinly sliced jalapeños on top. The rice was nice and fluffy but didn't have much flavor, and they serve black beans, which just aren't my preference with Mexican food. The house-made salsa was surprisingly sweet, and I was disappointed that the chips didn't seem house-made. If I'm going out for Mexican food, fresh chips are one of those little things I really look forward to. My husband ordered tacos at $6 each, which felt pretty steep considering we're used to excellent tacos in the $2-$3 range. His carne asada was cooked closer to medium rare, which wasn't what we expected at all from carne asada. The queso was another disappointment. It tasted very similar to Rico's cheese sauce you can buy at the grocery store. Overall, great service, great decor, very clean and a fun atmosphere, but the food just didn't match the setting or the reviews for us. At these prices, I expected a lot more flavor. Unfortunately, we left pretty disappointed.
