The food was amazing and authentic. I had the special. A seafood mix of tender shrimp, scallops and fish with green onions in a wonderful sauce. I especially loved the piña colada that I ordered. I saw other tables with large mugs of beer that had ice floating in them. Wonderful. We were seated immediately and water was served. Menus placed before us and drink orders taken. We ordered food and service was friendly and fast. We did not have high expectations when we drove up, yet we proceeded because we were told they have great food. Not only did they have great food but it's beautiful inside. Sure can't tell that from the outside. It was a great place for a date night, family dining or even just a cocktail. While staying nearby we asked around for some good Mexican food, and Juan's came recommended. The bright green building was easy to spot along the rural highway. We were greeted warmly and immediately appreciated the family business. All the typical favorites were on the menu so we took a minute with our delicious chips and salsa to decide. The salsa sauce has a nice flavor, but is not as chunky as I usually prefer. I ordered a margarita, offered blended or on the rocks. I opted for blended but it was likely the same as on the rocks with the ice mixed in with a blender so it sort of watered down the drink. I would suggest sticking to a beer for a drink, the do have Dos Equis on tap. I ordered the chicken enchiladas verde which came with rice and beans. My husband got the shredded beef burrito which was covered in a red sauce. both of these dishes were huge and good enough to recommend. We've eaten here before and the food was good. My husband brought me a fajita salad and I am shocked by what they sent me. The meat was scraps. When cleaning your meat before cooking there are end pieces and bits of tissue that you trim off the cut. These were what they cooked for the salad. It's a small restaurant that delivers big time! The food is incredible. I go eat there often and I've never been disappointed. Their burritos are huge. The steak & fajitas burritos is a must. They also have a seafood chimichanga which has shrimp, fish, and crab in a white creamy sauce then deep fried to perfection. I've also love all their dinner combos. We were a group of seven that visited this place on our way back to california from crater lake. We got into the restaurant about 30 min from their closing time. We were seated immediately and the waiter asked us for any drinks order. Having come from playing a lot in the snow, everyone was interested in only having coffee, so ordered for a few cups. Now we were probably very tires, but the coffee was delicious. Not only that they kept refilling our empty cups at the right moment. So it was perfect. Not only that, they also switched off the air conditioner on our request. For our entrees, we ordered a couple of plates of the snapper, one plate of the chicken salad and two vegetarian fajitas. The snapper came with rice and beans ( though we asked if we could have them without the rice and they willingly obliged). I liked the snapper a lot. It was perfectly done. The vegetarians had no complaints about the fajitas. He chicken salad was a little lacking. While the chicken was great, the salad didn't have much other than lettuce. I would rate this place as a 4.5. Unfortunately Yelp doesn't allow half stars. If given a choice, I would definitely go back there. read more

We've been disappointed the last few times we've eaten there. The beans and rice were so minimal they were barely visible. And the overall portions seem to be shrinking. In addition, the chicken has repeatedly been completely dry, unseasoned, and flavorless. We've been trying to use extra salsa to flavor our food, but no more! the owner of this establishment waited on our party of 7 he was the biggest jerk we have ever seen my sister ordered regular nachos with chicken, hold the guacamole. I ordered vegetarian nachos. This poor horse has lived there by itself for several years the conditions are disgusting and he should be ashamed of himself. My first experience and only experience I've had here was very poor. 1st off we order to drink which we're just sodas. We did not receive them until after our food arrived. Now onto our food portion, we ordered two separate chicken dishes which took over an hour to get. Our chicken was so dry that they just threw more sauce on top to fix it.
