First time here while I was visiting Oregon and I will definitely BE BACK!!! The refried beans and chips as we sat down were fantastic!! Then the burritos and enchiladas great!! We love coming here! Excellent food and even better service. I always get the carne asada dinner but decided to try something else. I got the Filete Relleno and it was AMAZING! Tons of shrimp, scallops, octopus, and mahi-mahi. The onions, peppers, and mushrooms were crispy and not over cooked. Special white cream sauce was not heavy. The porting was enormous. While visiting Grants Pass we stopped here for lunch. This place really makes you feel like you are sitting outside a restaurant in Mexico with all the waterfalls around. We ordered their Thursday lunch special of enchilada (your choice) and drinks. My Cosmo was delicious. The service from the moment we walk in was wonderful. I never leave reviews, but this place deserves a very bad report. Food was premade stuff that was very mediocre. The pre-made margarita barely tasted like it had even been passed by a margarita bottle and when I told him it was not very good instead of offering to bring me something else he just said 'sorry'. Bathroom had no toilet paper in one stall and the last turn of a roll in the other. Very subpar experience, probably relying on people charging their Tesla's needing a place to get a bite to eat so they're not concerned about anybody returning. AVOID read more

I have been going to Si Casa Flores for decades (before the fire) - but something has happened. The last time I was there the food was totally "meh." They "forgot" to put avocado in my Tortilla Soup - but the flavor just was not there anyway. And everything else was equally as bad. I was highly suspicious when the order was barely taken and the food appeared - and I was unfortunately correct. It tasted pre-made and reheated. It is still a lovely patio and I will probably return - but just for drinks and an appetizer. So sad as it WAS a wonderful restaurant read more

Best Mexican food in Grants Pass? I have no idea bc I've only been here, but it was great for sure. Tried the taquitos, chicken enchiladas, etc. Margarita was good and large. They put out chips & salsa & beans when we first came in. Beans were so fire. We licked the bowl clean and wanted more. A friend is a regular here and always just orders a big plate of beans and tortillas and sour cream and makes little bean quesadillas I guess? And I understand why bc those beans are amazing. I'll start with the positives. Terrific service, friendly/accomodating staff, VERY generous servings, festive atmosphere, very clean, easy parking. Now onto the not so positive. Bottom line, the food was very mild and nearly tasteless. So, if you're someone who loves Mexican food but can no longer deal with anything spicy, this is the place for you. This would also be a great restaurant for children who hate anything with any spice. For me, though, the enchiladas I ordered were so mild that they had very little taste. The beans were okay, but the rice wasn't like any Mexican rice I've ever had. It, too, was just sort of blah. I ended up leaving most of my food on my plate. I ordered a horchata for my beverage and it was pretty watery. In summary, not my taste, but others who can only eat and/or enjoy bland cuisine will likely enjoy it. read more

I would say it better than my moms food (coming from a Hispanic) definitely some of the best Mexican food I've had in the PNW. I had the tacos al carbón very delicious with great tasting salsas. The mouthwatering hot Habanero salsa that you can request on top of the red and bean salsa truly makes the meal tastes so much deeper and bitingly hot. You sweat with pleasure while you eat two different thick tortillas corn and wheat. There is no need to double up your tortillas since they make the most amazing thick tortillas! When you order a fountain drinks, it's automatically refilled free. The best part is the quality of their meats. They are so particular about their ingredients unlike the most taco stands, Mexican diners and fast food places, this place is very much in line with the highest level in every single thing that they make. We came here because it was on our way out of town and had the most recent 5 star reviews. After a brief wait we were taken to our booth. Drink orders taken I asked how fresh the guacamole was. The server said it was good and fresh. I ordered it excluding a main meal. Good choice for me I still didn't finish it. The others ordered their meal. The pork burrito was delicious and she said the pork by itself was spiced perfectly. The tacos paired with their spicy bbq sauce made the el pastore good to the last bite. The dessert cannot be reviewed other than to say it's amazing. My personal best is the fried cheesecake. So rich and creamy. Been going here for a decade so it's time for a review. To start let's talk about staff. They are always friendly and very attentive, Professional and caring. The restaurant is always clean. Bathrooms clean, dining and bar are always clean. If something is off staff are fast to fix it. Drinks are always delicious and on point. Big thing they are consistent and can tell bar staff are trained. The owner cares. You can usually see him making the experience better for customers. He is also open to feedback on improvements. Lastly, the food. Spending a majority of my life in south Texas I know good Mexican cuisine. The food here is about as authentic as it gets. To be honest, their carne asada is the best I've ever had. You can tell it's a good restaurant when the parking lot is packed! We've driven by this place dozens of times traveling to Medford but never had to opportunity to stop until today and we were glad we did. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and the staff very efficient. Like previous reviews, we ordered fajitas. My husband and I are trying to watch our portions (age sucks) so we split an order with an additional side of tortillas ($1.50). The fajitas were sooooo good! Whatever they marinate the dish in is so tasty and the ratio of peppers/onions to chicken was spot on. With a margarita and a beer respectively, we left with a $42 bill AND leftovers. It must be noted, because you may not see the small print on the menu, but after the first order, chips and salsa are a small, additional charge. Horrible experience! no takeout containers large oval paper type plates, the bottom is covered with foil the another plate as the lid then foil over both. the top plate was soaked by the food, what a mess. We got foil in our mouths. Fajitas were very salty and the shrimp in cream sauce still had the tails on, again what a mess. just shy of 100.00 for three plates plus the 20% tip and tip for the delivery pushed it over. An up tick in Covid has closed indoor dining in Oregon, bummer, first time at Si Casa Flores and there is plenty of parking and cool murals on the building to greet you. The palm trees were swaying in the wind , you do go inside to be seated outside. We were greeted by a really friendly gal who sat us outside and took our drink order. We did get to look inside and it was really decorated nice inside. Our chips and salsa and drinks came in a timely manner. I ordered Alambres, it is steak, onions, bell peppers, bacon with white cheese on it, it also came with rice and beans, flour tortillas. My wife ordered chicken tacos and a fountain coke. All of their drinks are fountain. They do sell alcohol. The salsa for the chips had great flavor, when our food came it looked amazing. The flavors of the food here are good . The service was good and the outdoor seating situation was good. The waiter in our area could have used some help, he was going as fast as he could from table to table. Despite the kind staff. The portions tonight were small. It seems for 17.00 you get a small amount of refried beans and a small scoop of Mexican rice. Last visit was months ago and the portions were bigger. I have gotten better food and larger portions at the other restaurants on 6th by 7-11. I would not recommend. While this place doesn't blow me away, considering the alternatives in Grants Pass, they do rate five stars though. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and competent. They're located in a shopping center, so parking has never been an issue. Their prices are fair/average. I spend a lot of time in San Diego (which has an obvious influence from Mexico), so I'm biased on what great Mexican food is, and the food here is good.
