Ordered (2) Grande Burritos with specific toppings which shows as optional in the app. I received a dry burrito with no salsa inside at all and no toppings as requested. No utensils as requested. Just overall disappointed with the entire order. Spent almost $40 with tip on a meal that I just simply could not eat as is. New to Florida and was looking for authentic Mexican food and this wasn't it. First time ordering Mexican food since being here and I will definitely explore other options in the future. read more

But the pork tacos... absolutely next level. Easily the best I've had in town. Had an order that was delivered tonight that was pretty good. I ordered two tacos, one on the soft tortilla and one on a hard shell. The hard shell was partially disintegrated in sections by the time I got to it. Both tacos were full, although their meat was almost hard to find in both. However, you could send the pictures that they were quite full.. They both have good flavors and probably would be better if eaten at the restaurant because by the time they left the restaurant and got delivered they softened up way too much. Probably would rate it higher, perhaps four star, if I had eaten it at the restaurant. The only actual complaint was that I ordered chips with pico de gallo. There was a very good amount of chips in the bag, more than I could eat, and I'm no lightweight. But the pico was enough for about four chips. I've taken a picture of it as well as a picture of inside the bag, really hard to tell how many chips are in it, but it was a real good amount. I had some jar salsa at home so I had to use that. This wasn't my first experience with Juan's Mexican Grill, and it will not be the last. But I think I'll have to be more particular with what I order for delivery or just go to the restaurant and eat there. read more

So much better than a chain (and I love the one that starts with a Q)! The nachos (with no meat) were piled high with black and pinto beans and queso and all the toppings you wanted. I had lettuce, fresh onions, pico, hot salsa, pickled jalapenos and fresh jalapenos. Definitely enough to share. read more

It's a chipotle type Mexican place. It was clean, everyone was nice and service was quick...but the ingredients were definitely a step below chipotle. If you are in a time crunch for a cheap burrito, this place is fine...it won't make you sick. read more

We visited on a Monday night just before Hurricane Milton. The staff was very friendly, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced! They offer indoor seating with a few tables outside. While they serve beverages, alcohol is not available. There's plenty of parking, and I would definitely recommend giving it a try. read more

Service was quick and the people are very nice . A lot of seating. However, I am Mexican and this is not authentic nor even close to a Spanish cuisine. You have all the ingredients yet you put out average American cuisine with no flavoring. Awful to say the least. With such a wonderful location and amazing space you would think this place would be alot better (location across from the Steak n Shake) Do not waste your money, it is below average at best. I get Juan's all the time from this location and the one in palm harbor but this location is always a better experience for me! The manager Gloria is amazing every time and is so sweet!! My food is always made to perfection, I was in there yesterday and I don't know what they did with the chips but they tasted so good! I always get the beef tacos and the chips and queso, which the queso is the best!! It's a must have every time I order from there. It's a cute small sit down/ Togo restaurant with a good vibe! I ordered a Buritto bowl steak and chicken. The scoops they used were tiny about 1 tablespoon in size. It was not only flavorless but the "steak" was awful. It looked like hamburger meat and tasted mealy. I could not eat it. I would have returned it for a refund if I could have. read more

I go to each location and all of them are great. I just catered an end of summer party from this location and everything was over and above my expectations. This is a great spot for a quick bite! I ordered a veggie burrito, everything was seasoned well. Think of this place sort of like a Moe's. Juan's is just a shadow of its former self. I did the Pepsi challenge between Juan's and Los Amigos II burritos, Juan's came in a distant second sorry to say. Juan's was bland and their foods now are basically Gringo styled Mexican food. Juan's is also more expensive than Los Amigos. The experience reminds me of an upscale restaurant we ate in Atlanta with "unique cuisine". The Scottish chef couldn't make a biscuit without overcooking it because that was his understanding of the food. I should have known better since the Scots are great at a lot of things, just not usually cuisine. I'm thinking Juan's got rid of the "authentic" kitchen help, and decided to do it with a bunch of Scots. (No offense to the Scottish as I love Dunedin and what it stands for). If you're European, maybe this rendition of Mexican style food meets your palate, but not the palate of this brown guy. read more

My husband did enjoy his burrito quite a bit. He said the rice was absolutely delicious and the burrito was filled better than Chipotle That I was not sure what I wanted and with my teeth issues picking something was a tad harder as I can't do a burrito. This meant that I chose the tacos. The shell was good, the cheese was good and good proportion, and the pico was quite tasty and a good portion, however... the amount of meat was less than what you get at Taco Bell. Now, yes the meat is slightly better but the taco is also a fair amount more money. Having worked at Taco bell and being trained on the amount of meat and also to spread it out to make it look like more... well I was very disappointed. The price for the tacos when you look at the amount of meat is just not worth it. Having had more time while sitting down to read through yelp and look more closely at the menu the nachos may have been a better choice - but I was being rushed so oh well. read more

I have been coming here for a while even before this new management team was even here. I do miss that old manager I believe his name was Mark and those other friendly workers. Today there is new management and workers that can not communicate properly instead I have to point like a monkey to get my point across. The new management cuts back on how much toppings they are going to give you. I had to on numerous occasions tell them a little more toppings please. Here is another example one of the managers didnt want to put other Ingredients on my order because I had already gotten salsa and she was arguing that the salsa already had those individual ingredients that I was requesting and the chips are stale What a joke! I went here for dinner and opted for a standard chicken burrito. It's set up like the other nationwide burrito places. You pick the toppings. By the time it was done, the thing was huge. A minimum 30% larger than the other places. Giant burrito with chips and salsa. $6.99. Impressive. The taste was more authentic than the nationwide chains as well. New to town and just happened to be driving by, saw a decent rating on yelp and decided to give it a try. SOOOOOO glad we did! Food tastes authentic and flavorful. They will make your meal in front if you and there are lots of choices - 5 meats, lots of veggies,etc. Tastes amazing, truly fresh, fast service, even the teens liked it, lol.
