Exceptional freshly brewed craft beer in a wonder setting with kind beer service and a great little burger joint next door. A really fun experience.

I really like the Nob hill tractor, especially their patio at this location. I love their cocktail menu and especially the spring menu always seems to be filled with fruity delights. I'm not a beer drinker so I really really appreciate all the breweries that have gone beyond beer with their menus over the years. Parking can be semi tricky depending on the night but still very doable.

Great selection, from Pale Ale, Hazy IPA, Chocolate milk stout, Blood Orange Cider, Haymarket Honey wheat, to a red ale. It is highly likely you will find a beer of choice here. Local painting advertised throughout as well as swag.

1st of all let me start by stating that I am a little biased because I literally live just down the road from this bar. However, I can't say enough great things about this place. The vibe. The energy. The cocktails, the original beer options and the staff. Oh the staff. Matt, Jordan, Lauren, Clay, Deja, you name it they treat me like I'm on an episode of Cheers and I just walked in wearing a mailman's uniform. Everyone knows your name here at Tractor and we come here as often as we can. I rally everybody I know to join me here every chance I can. This is without a doubt a local family at it's best... and everyone here is treated like family.

No VIP at Tractor Breweries Something funny happened to me the other day, but it all started in January at the beginning of this year. I went to Tractor Brewery at Wells Park in Albuquerque for a beer, meeting my fellow military veteran, friend (we'll call him Bill to keep his anonymity). While I was there I decided to purchase a "Co-Op Membership" because I go frequently and my last membership expired during the pandemic. Before the pandemic I used to draw pictures on the chalkboard at Tractor at Wells Park for charity events (Exhibit "A"). Frequently, I auctioned my art there at Art Fight (Exhibit "B"). I believe the oil painting in Exhibit B is hanging in one of the manager/owner's office. Also, I had an art opening at the Tractor Nob Hill. (Exhibit C). I took out my old Co-Op card and threw it away while asking the bartender, "Is there a special membership, or VIP, or maybe a platinum card?" The bartender laughed and said, "We just have one card. There is no VIP at Tractor." "Okay. That's cool, but can I get card number 007?" The bartender laughed and said, "I'll check." They came back with a yellow, paper card numbered 422 and a plastic sleeve. "Our lamination machine is broken. So you'll have to bring the card and this sleeve back when you come next time." My friend Bill was sitting next to me. We served in Iraq together in 2011. Bill and I joked with, but most near, the bartender about putting a photo, NM Zia 505, thumbs up, or VIP sticker. A week or so later, I met Bill for lunch and regaled the story of the Tractor "Co-Op Membership" card. The card and plastic sleeve were still in my wallet. With a fat, black Sharpee and a dime, from the waiter, I drew a VIP stamp on the card (I offer for admission Exhibit D). Bill and I left for Tractor Brewery at Wells Park to present the card for lamination and have a beer. "What's this? There's no VIP at Tractor," the bartender responded as I handed him the card for lamination. "I drew it over lunch. It's a joke." "That's funny," he uttered monotonously as he turned to laminate the card. Handing the laminated card back to me, he asked if I got my free growler of beer already and I said yes. The pandemic fades. So many beers are purchased. I move homes in June. After I moved homes, I started a regular Sunday walk to Tractor Brewery at Nob Hill in Albuquerque, less than a mile from my new home. Quickly becoming recognized by the Nob Hill daytime staff because of the frequency of my visits, I felt welcomed in my new neighborhood pub. Often forgetting to use my card at my new, local pub, every time my friend Bill would meet me he'd remind me, "Use your VIP card," and he'd joke about my 'VIP Status'. After having a few beers one evening one of the bartenders ask me how I got VIP status. I explained about the broken lamination machine and everyone laughed. The "VIP" finally achieved its purpose, a good laugh, until September started to close. In late September I stopped by Tractor at Nob Hill for a quick beer and a chess game. After pouring my own glass of water I sat at the bar and a familiar bartender said hello. "I apologize, but I forgot your name," I said. "Jordon," he replied, "and you are Don Johnson." "Right. Wow, good memory," I said as I hummed finalizing my beer decision. "I can't serve you," he said sharply. "Yeah right," I snorted with laughter. "Seriously." My head spun reviewing my behavior. I looked at my zipper, just to double check. Thinking of nothing warranting exile, I uttered, "Why?" "You're the one with a VIP card right?" Reaching in my wallet, I retrieved Exhibit D, holding it up, "This?" I said with a confused laughter. "This is a joke." "We take that very seriously." "Since when?" I could see that my appeal to reason shook his conscience. Taking a breath, he turned to check his cell phone. With determination he returned and said, "Yesterday. I can't serve you and they wanted me to take this card." "Really-really? This card?" I asked holding up Exhibit D and pointing at it with my other hand. He nodded. "Okay," I said as I voluntarily handed him the card. I still thought he was joking, but I'm a rule follower that doesn't want trouble. "Thanks. Now you gotta go," he said, as he took my glass of water and poured it down the sink. "Okay." I checked to make sure I had my glasses, phone, wallet, and keys and my phone, wallet, glasses.... When I walked out I looked back and thought, "If this is some 'Welcome to the neighborhood initiation/practical joke' I am very impressed." I called my friend Bill and told him the story. Also thinking it was a joke, he agreed to do reconnaissance to determine the validity of my claims. It was true. I had been 86ed (this is the term for being banned from a bar indefinitely) and not only from this Tractor Brewery, but all of them.

The chocolate milk stout was good, the bartender was friendly, and they let my dog sit with me at the bar inside.

From the moment we arrived, the service and ambiance were warm, welcoming, and where we wanted to be! Large and open, Bow and Arrow is spacious for folks to come for pint, small groups, as well as large groups and company events. We sat at the bar for more face-to-face service and had a great experience. We each got a flight and loved the ability to try four different beverages each since the menu is so extensive, creative, and delicious! I got the "Dos Arrows," "Wildly No. 1," "Bury My Heart," and "Lav Letters to the SW." I listed them in order of my favorites. Each beverage was complex, unique, and delicious! I would have enjoyed a full pint of each drink! Alas, 4 5oz beverages was enough! Prices are reasonable for such high quality beverages! We also loved that the brewery recognizes Indigenous land rights and supports Native American initiatives. Euro-Americans have much to learn from Native peoples, the original stewards of this land. But first, relationships, listening, and reparations are needed! We loved Bow and Arrow Brewing. We look forward to visiting again next time we are in town!
