Their meat department is my favorite with great prices and the quality has been better than some of the upscale stores. I am Diabetic, I always use self check out, don't care if I am being recorded. But I don't like being blinded by light in my eye flashing trying to scan and pay for items. Expect to pay higher prices than any grocery store you've experienced. The produce is almost always in poor quality and the selection is hit or miss at best. The owner/manager seems takes pride in price gouging and sub-par products...plus he's an a-hole to his employees and customers from what I've personally witnessed. This store price gouging should be illegal. I've unknowingly purchased rotten products (meat, produce) more than once. They also donate rotten/ spoiled food to the foodshelf. The employees are friendly and helpful and also offer full service at checkout complete with a drive-up to collect your groceries. The store itself is carpeted, it could be compared to Lunds, having similar ambiance and flow. read more

Jubilee is a very convenient grocery store in Mound. The staff is usually nice and helpful. Only disappointment is their prices are way higher than average grocery store. The last time I bought a steak from there it was inedible as it was full of tendons and very chewy. They do not supply as many options as a traditional grocery store such as Cub Foods. Overall I go to Jubilee for very basic needs and out of convenience. read more

Enter this store at your own Covid risk. The store doesn't care if customers wear or don't wear masks. Three customers were not wearing them today. I talked to the manager and he stated that they would still serve the customers who don't wear masks. Other employees were wearing plastic chin guards that didn't even cover the mouth or nose- and certainly would not stop any germs. Other grocery stores within a couple miles away will enforce the mask requirements when you enter. read more

During this time of Covid19 there's no excuse for this place allowing employees to NOT wear masks. Not one employee nor the manager I spoke to had one on, and only about 30% of the customers. This is the closest grocery store to my Spring Park home, but I will never give them my business again as they seem to have no concern for their patrons health. This is the place I go when I want to stock up on Gluten free foods. They have a whole little section of foods that I can't find elsewhere and in the frozen food section they have items like Shar gluten free puff pastry dough. You cannot find that anywhere. This is the only grocery store in Mound. I have been a loyal customer for 20+ years. People tell me I should shop elsewhere because there are lower prices at other stores, but I have supported the local business. During the COVID19 pandemic, the store had posted and advertised the first hour of the day for high-risk people. That is when I shopped. None of the staff will wear masks. I spoke with the owner who told me it was optional. He said they are doing all they can, yet when I was at the checkout, I was 3 feet from the cashier in the next lane, who would turn and move around - if she sneezed it would be all over me. The owner then said "Business is actually up since people who don't want to wear masks stopped going to Costco." He flat out told me that my years of shopping there did not matter. "We'll win some, we'll lose some." All I asked for was 1 hour of mask wearing during the time that was designated for high-risk people. If he would make that compromise he would win more - he wouldn't lose my business or the business of many others talking about this on social media. read more

The only grocery store in Mound, with nice employees that provide good service. They also have a drive-up lane where they'll load your bagged groceries in your car. Definitely a plus when the weather turns bad. read more

This is our local neighborhood grocery store. We live way out in Mound, so this place is it if we are at home. I've shopped there probably at least 100 times in the two years I've lived out here. At first, I thought that they were more expensive, and then I found that I was really paying less. I used to shop at Cub, but then I figured out that I actually spend MORE money at Cub because I buy crap on sale that I don't need. When I shop at Jubilee, it is simple. I buy what I need. They don't have a lot of fancy stuff and their prices aren't fancy, but they do our household just fine. read more

This is the cutest, cleanest, best little grocery store our town could ask for. The staff is so nice and helpful, the produce is fresh and the selection is awesome for the size of store. I was pleasantly surprised when we first moved to the area (June) and I stopped by Jubilee to grab a few things. I only shop here now. Cheers to local businesses! read more

We have been shopping at Mound Jubilee since they opened. We have had many bad shopping experiences in that particular store and we no longer shop there. The manager is cold towards customers, (fails to acknowledge their presence in the store, no greeting). We have witnessed him verbally rude to employees. The quality & selection of food is mediocre especially considering the prices in that store are a little high. Most of the employees are fair to good. Perhaps they could take some advise from a few other Mound business (i.e. Crow River Bank, Mound Hardware, Pro Nails, the late great John's Variety & Pets). I no longer shop at this store. Their beef is tough (do they buy their steers from Texas trail drives?} Their fresh(?) veggies tend to be old and don't keep well. Either they buy old veggies out right or they don't have enough customers to keep their stock up dated. The Mound area use to have 4 grocery stores to choose from. Piggly Wiggly, National, Red Owl and Super Value in Navarre. The benefit being if you didn't like one store you had 3 others in the area to choose from. I like that policy ! Competition keeps businesses on their toes. So how about it City Fathers, how about encouraging new business to come to Mound. We do have plenty of empty retail space to choose from. I'm pretty sure someone pee's in the misting spray that goes over all the veggies but I can never be sure... Planning a steak out to confirm my conspiracies. I love this store. They have great weekly specials and their regular prices are quite competitive, as well. Love the fried chicken special on Wednesdays! Eight pieces for $6.99 is a nice buy ... and the mashed potatoes and chicken gravy are excellent, as well. I don't shop here every day, but when I'm on errands and in the neighborhood, it is truly a nice shopping experience and excellent option. Glad to contribute to their continuing success! read more

Living in between Lund's and Jubilee in Spring Park it is a toss up on which store is more over priced. Jubilee does have some decent sales on meats that are about to be out dated. If I am going for 1 or 2 items I will go to one of these stores, if I am going to spend $30-$40 I will spend the $3 in gas to go to Cub and save $5-$10. If I am going to spend $100 or so I will spend the $5 in gas to go to Aldi and save $30 or so. Jubilee is just a big convenience store for the wealth people that live around the lake. read more
