With several restaurant locations to choose from, it's not a surprise to find a great fast food eatery nearby. The menu lists a lot of different food options to choose from. Their Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers are awesome, along with their cottage fries. They serve delicious Pinto beans that are free, of course the hot sauce makes the beans irresistible! This review is uncomplimentary, but it pertains to the Jucys location in GILMER. The Gilmer location didn't appear in my searches, so the Longview/Spring Hill Jucys location will have to suffer in their stead! What happened at the Gilmer Jucys last night?? (14 Nov 2025, 6-ish p.m.) I have ordered curbside takeout from their app many times without any problems at all (except once when I got home and realized that they didn't include any salad dressing). But last night wow it was like that sound effect where the record player needle gets scraped across the record album!! An employee came out once (and only once) to tell me they were still working on my order. After 30 minutes I got out of my truck and went inside to inquire. "Just a couple more minutes, sir." After 45 minutes "just 2 more minutes, sir." And my order wasn't large - it was only enough food for myself. I finally gave up and asked for a refund, which took another 10 minutes, and "sir the refund will show up on your credit card in a few days." It wasn't just me - lots of other customers were let down, too. The employees are usually very friendly, but last night everyone involved was at the limit of their patience. I enjoy Jucys food, and I need it right now because I don't have time to cook due to a project. But after last night, I will be going elsewhere for a while. Hopefully Jucys can fix their problems - Gilmer needs more good restaurants! read more

During a recent visit to my old stomping grounds, I called in an order to this place. Jucy's seems a lot fancier these days, and that's not a bad thing. More importantly, the burger tasted just like the versions that made me gain about 20 lbs. some years ago -- delicious ... among the best ever. The friendly server at our drive-thru made the experience all the better. Jucy's is among the best hamburgers in Texas (just check out Texas Monthly and other publications if you can't take my word for it). Visited Longview again and had to go back to Jucy's. This time I brought the family. Wife is a sucker for chicken tenders and white gravy since she grew up in Texas and used to get that from Dairy Queen a long time ago. She thought the tenders and gravy were great. My son wasnt a huge fan of the burger, but he ate it. He like burgers with thinner patties, like a smashburger. I thought the burger was fantastic as usual. The food was 5 stars for sure. The service however was atrocious. Our server Denna, was very rude after she gave me the wrong information about the menu. When i informed her that the jalapeños were pickled and not fresh she told me 'that's all we got in a very condescending manner. EDITED: I uploaded a picture of what was in my fries- something not edible. Obviously only the good photos can be kept because yelp sent an email saying that my picture was flagged and removed. That makes me think what else are we NOT seeing on yelp. Anyway- the cook left something in my fries. As with any newly opened restaurant, the lines were long, yet my wait wasn't too drastic. They had a worker coming out to the cars to run food, but by the time I reached the menu, she had gone back inside. Brooklyn, the host at the window, was very sweet. She greeted me with a smile. It was busy on the inside, but it looked clean and well-managed. The Cowboy melt burger was hot and fresh. I'm not a fan of their fries, but I ordered some this time. It'll be my last time ordering fries at Jucy's, though. I'm just not a fan of their fries at all (no matter the location). The burger, although hot, wasn't seasoned well. I had to season it myself when I got home. The Texas toast was toasted evenly, and the cheese was melted well. Some of the onions were scorched on the burger, but that didn't affect the overall taste. Get someone in the kitchen who can season the meat, and we have a great burger ! The Jucy's on Eastman has a better seasoned burger by far. I did find a piece of string in my bag with the fries that had some hair attached to it. That wasn't too pleasant. My dad and I went to this place while we were up in Longview for a construction project we were working on for a house. I'd been hearing about Jucy's Hamburgers from him for a while, and about how they were so good. I'm a burger connoisseur, so I don't just give out the best burger in the state to just anybody. But I am always in the mood for a good burger, so why not? I got the Bacon Cheeseburger with mayo and everything on it, and fries and a drink. The fries reminded me a lot of Five Guys fries. Hand cut potatoes, with a good crisp and just the right amount of salt on them. The burger was about as good as you'd expect. The bacon could have been a little crispier, because some of it was on the meatier side, but I bet you could ask for crispy bacon, and they'd be fine with it. The reason this is not a five star rating is probably the price, because like Five Guys, you have to order everything piecemeal, which drives up the price IMHO. Would I eat at Jucys again? Sure, but not consistently every week, because I find them pretty pricey. read more

I have been a periodic customer for many decades at all three burger locations but that ended last Friday. Jucy's has now decided that it will cost you just as much to have a glass of water as it does for sodas and other sugared drinks, with your meal. Just ate here with family we ordered different items so we can try the food. I tried the bacon cheeseburger, BLT (bacon was really good), fries, chicken fried steak (batter was good) and onion rings. The food taste average needed more seasoning on everything. I gave it 3 stars because of the large portions...and you get to eat homecooked beans and unlimited drink refills while you wait on your order. I dont think I will go back to try anything else due to the unseasoned food. Also the customer service was not too good...they were impatient. read more

I'm gonna start out by saying I love Jucys. Just not this location. Having been twice I had bad experiences both times. Between the Chicken Fried Steak being rubbery, burgers being bland like no seasoning was put on them I am not a fan. My mother asked for ketchup in the drive thru. An open little shot of it so she could eat her fries in the car. She was told "the cook says this is the last time hes gonna do this" WTF really ? 1 ounce of ketchup breaks the bank ? If we came inside we could make ketchup sandwiches with the bottles on the table but heaven forbid get one in the drive thru. Management can make or break a place. Start-up issues; still need improvement The food was good but not up to par with the other two Longview locations. Phone order for takeout: All of the burgers ordered were wrong. Jr. burger with no mustard had mustard. Two black and bleu burgers ordered with lettuce and tomato only had everything including mustard which overpowered the other flavors. Will probably go in and order next time. One order of fries was about half the size you get at the Eastman road location. Order of onion rings came with 6 onion rings - expected more for $3. My husband loves Jucy's. I don't so much. Burgers are greasy, fries are limp and greasy. I've tried the salad, I think they call it cowboy salad. Ordered honey mustard dressing, it came with a drizzle of I don't know what was on it, went back to the front waiting behind 5 or so different people to get my dressing (only one person taking orders). Finally asked for my dressing when the girl went to ask for it one of the cooks didn't even know they had honey mustard just shook his head no. Some other guy went and found the dressing. Tonight ordered chicken tenders and chicken fried steak. NO GRAVY. Who the hell eats chicken fried steak without gravy. I walked in the other day and this girl named kendley took my order.She was very nice and charming! She was so sweet never have meet someone who works in the fast food industry who was so nice even complemented me on my outfit!! She is the sweetest thing! Really made my day for a 60 year old who has nothing better to do.I hope my grandkids will act and behave like her when they are older!
