Judd's Store is great. What a selection of fine sodas! They also serve some delicious ice cream, different soups daily, breadsticks, and one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches in the state. The store is extremely small; there's not enough room to properly eat. Sitting at the tables, you're knocking elbows with people at nearby tables. Trying to pay at the cash register is also difficult because you're surrounded by people and furniture. I ordered breadsticks (they didn't come with butter) and broccoli soup and the soup was thin, tasteless, and luke-warm. The prices are high for the products. It has a certain charm for a large closet that's being used as a store but one can find many of the same sodas, candies, etc. at other establishments. I suppose part of its popularity lies in the fact that it has been there for decades and is part of old St. George. My sister went to elementary school across the street (before it became an administrative building) and she has fond memories of eating lunch at Judd's during the school year. read more

Such a fun environment. It felt like a flash back in time. The food was average and well priced. The atmosphere is really what made the place. We would go back just for the atmosphere. Maybe for ice cream instead of food. But food wasn't bad! read more

This is a sweet little retro cafe that is reasonably priced. They have a grilled cheese sandwich for 3.25 that looked delicious but I was too hungry to wait and went with their chicken enchilada soup, which was packed with chicken, corn and just a pleasant bit of heat. I did not get a combo, which included breadsticks, but they looked and smelled really good. Huge single scoop of ice cream. Lots of old fashion candy that used to be a penny but now is a dime. This place is a real treat. Their soups are excellent. I haven't had anything else, because, well their soups are excellent. The line can get long fast, and it's not a very spacious place. Judd's is an institution. Historical and classic! Love the choice of candy and treats. I've been going my entire life. Eating those delicious breadsticks with cheese sauce since I attended Woodward! Love the old fashioned feel of this store! They had all the old school candies I remember from my childhood. I was surprised to even find the old candy cigarettes! Of course we had to buy them, because our kids never believe us when we tell them they were a thing back in the day. . We grabbed a breadstick while there because they were fresh and hot. Breadsticks were pretty tasty and probably even better dipped in one of their homemade soups. Judd's is the best place for lunch in town. I love their soups, sandwiches, and their bread sticks are the best! There is a candy store in the shop as well with really cool vintage-esque candies and sodas. It can get crowded in there when it's busy, AND they will run out of bread sticks in a hurry, so go early! read more

An awesome find in a small town... Judd's has that old school feel to it. I walked in and it was all nostalgic. You can come in and get your classic sodas, candy, ice cream.... even fresh soup and sandwiches that change. I really loved the aesthetics and everything they had to offer. I love their breadsticks, soups and wide variety of sodas. I've been coming here for a few years now and the customer service has definitely gone downhill in recent months. No one wears name tags so I've gotta describe them but, the tattooed lady that is almost always there, sometimes wears glasses, has lost her niceness. She's not nearly as pleasant to talk to. There is a shorter, young girl, looks maybe Hispanic or native, she's crazy rude and really needs to learn how to conduct herself in a customer service position. I call in my orders most days and when I do she'll answer with just a "hello" or better yet, "heeeeeeelllllloooo" sounding as if she's inconvenienced. There is another woman, calls everyone dear, maybe late 30's, quite petite, she's really nice. Not sure what causes the change but I guess it doesn't really matter. I typically stop going to businesses that have shitty customer service but I like their breadsticks and soup too much. read more

I've gone here my whole life but no more. They have cut too many corners over the years and I'm done. When your chicken soup is almost all corn, and you can't find a single Coke product anymore, and the crowds are so thick, getting out of there is like popping a zit, it's time to call it quits. If you like bone-crushing crowds, no place to sit, understaffed and harried service, and cheap soup, feel free. But I won't be there. read more

Not sure what people are talking about, but the staff was horrendously rude and disrespectful. Waited almost 15 minutes in A line, got to the front and the lady at the counter assisted 2 girls that just walked in. When I questioned what was going on, the GIRLS not the worker, told me and my family were in the wrong line. I informed the worker that I waited in the ONLY line that has been here for 15 minutes. The worker completely ignored me, not so much a glance in my direction and continued to help the 2 girls. I am sorry but this is unacceptable. This is the 2nd time we have stopped here and the customer service has both times been unacceptable. The 1st time we came in we tried to order one of their icee's without ice cream at the bottom. When the staffer was making the cone she put ice cream in the bottom, I informed we did not want ice cream, her reply was, "its there now so it should be ok right?" I said no we do not want ice cream, she then told me she would have to charge me because I should of told her no ice cream in the first place. We just walked out. We only went in to try it again and it was the SAME female worker with the attitude, unfortunately our potential $40 purchase turned into nothing for them and decided to go to Chik-Fil-A.
