Just moved into Juhl. I recently moved from San Diego and had a place in a high-rise similar to Juhl. Been very pleased with the facility, amentities, and staff. The staff has really been awesome, always helpful and available. Sokha, specifically, has been fantastic - she continues to be great with answering my questions and making my transition smooth. Sokha gave us a great tour and is just as sweet as can be! She was honest about everything and made me feel at home right away. The prices are a bit high for the small space but it is very modern and beautiful, Sokha told me about their sister properties if I wanted more space. It is about a mile from Freemont and parking seemed a big issue, so decided to go with another property but would love to have lived here! Maybe next move :) Thank you Sokha! read more

Unfortunately, this place has turned into a collage dorm. The people who live here treat this place like their own party palace. Not only do they party the night away, they treat the public areas like a garbage dump. The carpets are all stained and the walls are all marked up. I can't wait to move out. read more

I've been living in Juhl for three months now. The building is getting more and more residents but they all generally seem to be like-minded people. In general, upper 20s and 30's perhaps early 40's, educated, working professionals. There is a great number of beautiful or at least above average attractive straight and gay urbanites residing here. Decent hipster level as well. Most residents are dog lovers and have one or two dogs. The cat level is unknown due to cats being ornery indoor creatures. The building is hip and the spaces are amazing. Large windows, poured concrete walls, upgrades, an urban feel. I have an open studio which I absolutely love. The price is just right for what you're getting with the services included. You could rent a larger property nearby but it would not have the safety or the views of Juhl. The concierge is friendly and usually helpful. Jeffa is my absolute favorite concierge. He's upbeat and always has a hello, good night, or an easy chat if you'd like one. He always makes me feel welcome and at home. Likewise he polices the lobby like no other, keeping out the riff raff or making my dates wait until I'm prim and ready to go. He has a fair pulse of the activities of the downtown area and wouldn't leave you hanging without some suggestion of what activity to do. read more

This place has so much potential but unfortunately they have people that are too casual and unprofessional running the business. I should have known when I was ready to sign my lease I would be in for a long haul of, "We will get to that." During my lease signing, interuptions kept happening and it was as if I wasn't even there. We had to stop and restart the conversation over and over. I had to repeat everything 2 and 3 times. After moving in, there has been nothing but issues with my apartment. When you report them, the staff could care less. They shrugg it off with a comment of, "Ok, we'll let someone know." Days later you may get someone to look into it. I've lived in places where you get same day results or at least a follow up explaining why something is taking longer than usual. Not here! The property owner needs to hire some professional staff instead of young people who know nothing about running an apartment complex let alone any kind of customer service. PROS: High end up grades, large apartment and plenty of parking. The location is great. Tenants seem to be friendly enough. read more

I have to say that the building and inside of the units are very nice. Finding a nice place downtown is great as it is close to everything that you might want to do. The issues are the lack of care or concern by the leasing staff of this establishment. Because their is an HOA and the multiple issues that have been experienced are "building" related, they like to shift all blame and responsibility to the HOA. Unfortunately what they don't seem to understand is that residents don't pay rent to the HOA. We pay THEM! I could handle all the issues of no hot water and no gas, which has happened on several occasions this winter, if the leasing office would just show a little more care and concern for the people who pay rent and therefore actually allow them to collect a salary. read more

We'll start with the positives: I've been living here for over a year and will say that the people who work here are the nicest! They make every day easier and do it with a smile. From the concierge (Jeffa, Darryl and Sam) to security, they are fantastic. I love my unit. The design is nice and I feel very safe. There is always some kind of party going on at the pool, you might think you are living at Melrose Place. Hot, friendly, professional people. What more can you ask for in downtown LV living? And now the not so good: I think things are better now, but when I first moved in the leasing team was a nightmare and there were many issues with my unit. Perhaps this is to be expected with a new building that had construction stop mid-way through for quite some time, but it was definitely VERY annoying. The parking garage is baaaad. It can be very tight to maneuver and people aren't always that cautious. As a dog owner, I ALWAYS pick up after my puppy. Even if that means walking back to the poop bag dispenser and getting one. This is my home and it should be kept clean. Sadly, there are MANY residents who do not believe in this. They let their dogs poop and pee anywhere, including at the front door. Nothing says "come on in!" like a puddle of dog piss! I can only imagine what the apartments of these people look like. Nasty. read more

The units are now starting to be sold to investors who are renovating (very loudly) all day every day. If you sign a lease here, you could suddenly find yourself with a new landlord aside from the leasing company. The parking garage is being power washed and we are asked to find alternate parking but the HOA has provided no suggestions other than parking downtown and feeding a parking meter every 2 hours. The security staff has turned over yet again, the dog park is filthy and smells more like a barnyard and the pool is full of rude people who do not realize how loudly their nonsense echoes off the concrete and steel structure. DO NOT LIVE HERE, YOU WILL BE SORRY! read more

Wanted to share my experience while visiting juhl yesterday with my husband. We've lived in Vegas for quite some time but we are currently unhappy with where we are living and want to move within the next 3-6months.. We definitely want to live in a luxury style apartment/condo downtown because we love the location and we want low maintenance. We're not sure again if we're going to buy a condo or rent. We looked up places and decided to go visit juhl yesterday. We were pleasantly surprised at how the community was set up, the designs of the apartments that we were shown and how professional and lovely the property manager was. I was a property manager for many years and recently changed professions and was very impressed with the customer service we received. She was personable and addressed her residence by their first names as they walked by and greeted her. Very impressive. We also visited Ogden because we were informed that they were owned by the same company. There again the agent that showed us condos was extremely friendly and professional. The entire staff was awesome. Considering many experiences we've had here in Vegas with bad customer service and surly staff members, it was quite refreshing. I just wanted to take the time to write and say to the managing company that you have a great staff on both properties keep up the good work. We haven't made a decision yet but we are really leaning towards living in one of your properties. We just haven't decided whether we're going to buy or rent. When we do it will most likely be one of these two locations. read more

Sadly I am planning to leave Juhl to join suburbia and start a family but I wouldn't leave otherwise. I've had nothing but a tremendous experience here. The place is fortress. There are NO noise issues at all due to the concrete construction of the building I am guessing. Modern minimalist look with high ceilings and updated fixtures. Responsive front desk and excellent amazon/package management system. Responsive management office though to be honest haven't had any major issues that needed fixing I suspect due to the quality construction of the building. Sexy lap pool. Great wine deck overlooking the strip that admittedly I rarely used but was beautiful when I did. Proximity to the delights of Downtown (First Friday, Fremont) was huge (for the person who likes that, and I was one of them). I guess the main thing I would say is that almost every other building I've lived in has had some kind of issue. Noise, common areas not being maintained, broken laundry machine or other appliance, issues with neighbors or management or something that becomes a drain on your time/energy. When I look back on my four years here honestly I have had no headaches at all. That says a lot in my opinion. read more

I don't even know where to begin with the positives for this community. From the leasing office - Sokha, Bri and Amber- to concierge, to the security and maintenance staff... They are ALL top notch. True professionals and good people. I have leased from various communities in the Vegas valley, and I have to say they set the bar extremely high for what a tenant/property relationship should be. Warm, professional, understanding and the highest levels of integrity! Juhl is a beautiful, convenient, clean community located downtown and the amenities are amazing! A beautiful resort style pool, a stunning rooftop deck, an immaculate and well appointed gym, a well lit safe and clean dog run for big and small fur babies alike, restaurants and a local watering hole on property, secure parking.... I could go on and on about the great things that makes being a Juhl resident incredible, but you should really discover them for yourself if you are considering a move downtown!!! As far as negatives.... I haven't any to share! Yes, there is no guest parking, but pro tip : free parking on 4th street!!! Oh, and my power bill is sometimes almost $60 (lol, usually $40-$50). Nice apartments located near the old strip. Short drive (5-10 mins) to the new strip. Highly recommend these apts to anyone moving to Vegas. Great location, neighborhood is good, and the complex is really nice, very modern looking! read more

I've been living here for nearly a year, and so far have enjoyed it. It feels like I'm having a staycation daily with the resort style pool and outdoor views. The building is quiet and although the pool gets busy in the summer, it is not obnoxious. Most people/residents are quite respectful of one another. The Juhl sits on a great block compared to other downtown highrise properties, as it is a couple of blocks nearer downtown (and in this downtown a couple of blocks makes a difference). There are homeless people around, but hey, it's downtown, and I've never really felt unsafe walking outside--just use common sense as far as that is concerned. There is a concierge until late at night and the building is locked in the early evening. You can usually also find security if necessary. Pros of the unit include a spacious bathroom (that is what sold me), in-unit washer/dryer, and modern/chic layout and appliances. All of my visitors love the floor to ceiling windows. If you work downtown, it's no more than a 10-15 minute walk. This place is also great with deliveries, be it household items, groceries, or pizza! Cons include difficult parking for visitors, and the parking garage gate malfunctions/breaks often. The gym is tight, albeit nice looking. I look forward to renewing my stay. read more

From the outside this place looks great. The lobby is clean and modern and the concierges are welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, in the 4 short months that I have lived here, the gas has been turned off twice for extended periods of time due to "gas leaks." During this time, I wasn't able to cook or even to take a hot shower. When management is asked, they simply apologize but don't try to offer any kind of compensation. During the first outage (which lasted from Saturday evening at 5pm until Monday afternoon around 2pm) the concierge offered to give me some takeout menus since I was unable to cook anything unless it was prepared in the microwave. They however, didn't offer any compensation for the fact that I had to go without hot water for almost 48 hours. You can't really put a price on a hot shower (especially in the winter time). Yes, it is a new building, but before opening and charging residents, make sure that everything is in good working order. If it's not, offering some compensation or something more than just "sorry" would be greatly appreciated. read more
