Being an early riser, it's nice to have this 6AM option for breakfast. It is located on the 2nd floor next to the gym of the Ruby Tower. Although there are bar style seating, this is not one of those sit down places where you would hang out all day. I ordered the Sunrise Wrap. It had eggs, potatoes, chorizo, and cheese, all wrapped up in a tortilla that had a crispy exterior finish. It was still piping hot when I brought it back to the room. But when I took a bite, it tasted like nothing. Absolutely nothing. As if I was eating cardboard. I am still dumbfounded as to how that was even possible considering there were chorizo and cheese in it. Had to douse it in ketchup but then it just felt like I was eating ketchup on toast. I had a very Fresh pressed juice called Drink Your Greens -- kale, spinach, celery, cucumber, lemon, apple, ginger and parsley -- and I saw them put all of this into the juicing machine (and nothing else!). The green juices are good and somewhat satisfy my cravings. Have I had better? Yes. Although the juices are made fresh, the green juice here isn't consistent. My partner and I stayed for about a week while visiting Vegas and frequented the juice bar twice. Each time, the green juice tasted different. Ginger is advertised as an ingredient, but there was barely any in the drink. I ordered a drink with extra ginger, which came with an additional charge--fine by me--but even then, the ginger flavor was still not very prominent. I do appreciate that everything is freshly pressed. They didn't sell apple juice (for my young nephew), but a team member kindly offered to make one for me, which was very thoughtful. read more

Fresh smoothies or fresh juice are their specialties of which we tried several. They also serve hot coffee of all types and they offer a handful of breakfast options. Our favorite real fast option besides one of the smoothies was a breakfast burrito. Eggs, chorizo, potatoes, grilled onions and some cheese. Wow it was so delicious. Now back to the staff, fun and engaging. Each morning we had a fun chat while they busily whipped up juices and smoothies for the Virgin Hotel customers. I did not taste or feel any buzz. This was because the barista didn't stir my White Mocha and causing the bland taste at the beginning and a sudden jolt of sugar as you get to the end. Prices are $12-$13 for juices but there were also bananas and snack bars for purchase as well. We had a great employee when we stopped by, but due to there being only one machine, plan on it taking 5-6 minutes per juice. It's manageable if you're the only one there or if there's a short line, but I imagine if there was 4-5 drinks ahead of yours it could take awhile. Our only feedback for this location having 4 stars is the current menu. When staff follows the menu, the cup only gets filled 3/5 the way. For being $12-13, they should restructure the menu to fill up the cup accordingly. That said, we asked for an extra apple and cucumber to be added for it to get filled and staff was happy to assist. The woman in front of us had the same issue with hers, so definitely keep this in mind if visiting. For healthy juices at Virgin, this was closer to our room than the coffee shop and it's surprisingly almost the same price as an iced tea at the kitchen below on the first floor, so if you're looking for a healthy juice on-property, definitely consider this one. read more

The first task we undertook was to scop out Vegan restaurants and smoothie bars. We were excited to check out this smoothie bar. It's located on 2nd floor of the HRH Tower and across from the spa. The smoothie bar looks like an actual bar. It looks like a smoothie place you would find in a gym. It's small, has a few bar stools, and very minimal produce. The menu is a bit plain. Pros- 1. Convenient location if you're staying at The Hard Rock Hotel. 2. Fresh raw juices and not watered down. Cons- 1- Limited smoothie selections. 2- No signature smoothie options. 3- Not cold pressed juices. 4- Smoothies are mixed with a pre-mixed sugary condensed juice (yuck). 5- Employees don't appear to enjoy their job. I had better service at Dunkin Donuts when I got free hot water. 6- Avoid ordering their açaí bowl. Someone next to me ordered it and I witnessed how it was made. They used some sort of grape concentration or something else. Either way it looked foreign to me. See the image I posted. That's how it was handed to the guy that paid $8 and some change! If they were to replace their mix sugary concentration of fruits with raw, frozen fruits, and create signature smoothies with vegan protein options...they would be 5 stars! Good fresh healthy juice, but don't expect friendly staff. How Rude! It's hard for me to find healthy food/drinks while I'm traveling. But, I had found that the Hard Rock Hotel where I was staying had Juice Bar. (I actually had to plan before I arrived where to find healthy food and drink as I'm working from my computer in the hotel room each day, and it's hard to get out). The Juice Bar is nestled in the same corner as the hotel's wellness spa and workout area. Healthy vibes all around, right? NOT. The first morning I went there (to get a fresh juice and breakfast quinoa, eggs and veggies - which was amazing by the way), the worker didn't seem like she was happy to be there (but wasn't rude). I kind of just brushed it off, but still tipped her. But, the second morning I went, I couldn't believe the way I was treated! I have NEVER been treated so rudely in my life by a food service worker. (It was not the same worker from the first visit). The first sign of noticing how I was going to be treated was by listening to how she was talking to the customer in front of me. She was intense, rude, and talked to the customer like she was committing a crime for not having her photo ID to verify the charge being put on her hotel room tab. The customer was being really nice about it, too, but she just said "I'll just go back to the room and get my ID." When I went up to the counter, I wasn't pleasantly greeted. The juice-tender with a rude attitude asked "Do you know what you want?". I replied that I wanted a modified version of one of the green juices. She walked away and didn't even let me finish my order. She frantically walked over and started working on some other orders... maybe a large to-go order? I couldn't tell. There was no one else in line, and the only other person at the Juice Bar was a hotel worker who was eating his breakfast at the counter. She even conversed with him while she was working on whatever she was working on. I waited patiently as I saw she was busy. I started to think in my head that I'm totally not going to tip this lady. And, for me to even have the thought in my head that I wouldn't tip someone almost never happens! It has to be really bad! I tip at least 15% of the bill 99.9% of the time even for just okay service (whether that's counter or table service). About five minutes passed with no acknowledgment whatsoever. Another customer came up, and the juice-tender rudely asked her "Do you know what you want?". The customer ordered some oatmeal and coffee, and the juice-tender put her order together and gave it to her. And, I'm still standing at the counter waiting. This was the straw that broke the camel's back for me: I watched the new customer get served and acknowledged before I was even allowed to continue placing my order. So, I said, "I guess I'm going to leave now." As I turned around and walked away, the juice-tender had the audacity to rudely shout out with a negative attitude "I TOLD YOU IT'D BE A FEW MINUTES!" For the record, she never told me that during my time there. The only thing she ever said to me was the rude "Do you know what you want?" Nothing else during my total of about 10 minutes there. Needless to say, I didn't get any juice. I don't have to explain in this review how you're supposed to treat people - especially at a famous hotel resort. I definitely won't be back. They just lost a repeat customer. FYI: I did speak with the food and beverage manager of the hotel after the incident, so I'm hoping there will be improvements. read more

This place is truly a hidden gem on the second level of the Hard Rock Hotel in between the spa and hair salon. It is so good it has me dreaming of what I ordered last watermelon and cucumber combo. It was so fresh and delicious and reasonably priced at $8. Need to adjust the dollar signs for this business from three to one. In fact I have never seen a juice bar so well priced for what you get. Fresh made not pre-packaged juices like most places. So when it is fresh you have none of the added sugar. Since everything is fresh you might have to wait a bit for your drink to be custom made. The lady who is literally a one man show to speak handles the crowds expertly. She acknowledges you and keeps track of who is next. She has her regulars and remembers what they will want. Sadly before leaving Vegas I learned that not all juice bars are the same so I tried Green Crush at Fashion Mall but all their drinks have cane sugar I might as well be drinking a Coke. Than I tried Jamba Juice the calorie count on their pre-made smoothies is defeating the point of why you are juicing to begin with. The location is on the 2nd floor next to the Spa, so follow the signs for the Spa and you can't miss it. The two ladies behind the counter (the place is set up like a walk-up bar) were very nice and friendly. Prices for juices are $10, which is to be expected for Vegas tourist prices.
