Really bad for the environment when I can't put drink in my own cup. A really bad customer service told me so...he's "from the corporate", he should know. And asked me who let me use my cup before, "the corporate is watching the cameras and the person might get fired". How put off can a "corporate person" be? I told him this and he turned around and got another employee to take my order. Thank god! All the employees there are great and "the corporate guy" shouldn't be trying to help customers, especially this one if he's so full of himself. Honestly, I can't see how he can train anyone and is probably a bad influence for all the good employees there. It would be very beneficial for the environment to let people use their own cup...for those who actually care about the future. I have enjoyed Power Soul Cafe (southwest location) these last few weeks and months in Las Vegas because it has been incredibly hot. The people who I have interacted with at any location are extremely friendly. After some hot noodle soup in Chinatown, we were craving some nice refreshing smoothies. We thought it was very convenient that Power Soul happens to be open 24/7. When we got in line, there was already one person who is waiting at the ordering "walk-up" window. I get the sense that he was waiting a long time. I was interested in leaving before ordering, but my boyfriend seemed like he didn't mind the wait. It took about 15 minutes for someone to take orders. It took even more time for the smoothies to come out. It seems like there was only one person working at a time where I watched about 10 people put in orders. I wish we would've walked away sooner. read more

I came to this location around 2:50 a.m., and Jared was wonderful. He was very kind and helpful. However, it was extremely difficult to hear and communicate while ordering because of the large fan blowing directly at the walk up window. We had to practically yell at each other, which made the experience frustrating and took away from the quality of service. I also think the walk up window should be enclosed. It was freezing outside, and it made it hard to take my time deciding what to order. Enclosing the window so customers could be buzzed in would make a huge difference in both cold and hot weather and would allow for much clearer communication. Jared was very friendly and helpful with what I could hear. Improving the walk up window setup would greatly enhance the experience for both customers and staff. This was such a delightful experience. We got the keto pepperoni pizza and chicken mushroom pizza, plus the coffee cloud drink with whey protein. Everything was SO good! The gal at the window was so nice. She smiled and actually apologized when I couldn't hear her because a motorcycle went by. Not her fault! The food quality was excellent. The drink was killer! I felt great after eating. I'll bump this up to 5 stars after I try some more items if they all meet the same standard. As a Celiac, I was so excited to hear that a 100% gluten-free restaurant was opening up. It's so hard to find a restaurant that can safely do real gluten-free food and I don't have to ask 400 follow up questions to make sure the food isn't cross-contaminated. I figured that a place with a name like "power soul cafe" with a giant orange slice logo would feature healthy foods. I imagined they'd have gluten-free sandwiches, bowls, salads and soups. Nope! This place sells the same gluten-free junk foods that I can buy at Walmart in the frozen section, but at a massive premium. They also sell $15 5-inch keto pizza and $10-$17 smoothies. Is this Erewhon? Speaking of pizzas, why are the pizzas so small for the price? 5 and 6 inch pizzas are not standard anywhere else. I can get the most expensive 10-12 inch frozen gluten-free pizza at any grocery store cheaper than $15. It seems like selling mini pizzas is going to do nothing but drive potential repeat customers away. As far as the rest of the menu, what seems like previously frozen waffles, previously frozen chicken tenders, bagels and mini desserts can be ordered at a walk-up window and then you go next door to go into an area where your order is left in a little locker. There's no place to even throw away your straw wrapper. I used the hand sanitizer pump to put my drink on so I could put my straw in. They need a table and a trash bin. I ended up ordering a $9 vegan "chicken" and waffle sandwich. It was 2 faux tenders, faux egg and 2 waffles that clearly weren't made in-house. As a Celiac, I'm so tired of only being able to get super processed junk food as a gluten-free option. Did anyone poll the gluten-free community what foods they're unable to get or that they'd like to purchase before creating this menu? Gluten-free food is already so expensive, I'm not going out of my way to go to a restaurant unless it's something I can't make at home or can't buy at the grocery store. I was drawn to powersoul when I first saw the Hailey Bieber smoothie dupe. I want going to California anytime soon so this was a much more convenient & cheaper option. Ordering was super quick and easy, they have a side window to order at and small inside waiting area to pick up. There's no seating inside the location, just grab and go. They actually have several cloud smoothies but the dragonfruit was the one I tried. It was absolutely delicious! Hard to believe it's healthy & tastes that good. So far I've tried the Aloha Avocado with spinach, kale, avocado, lime concentrate, organic sweetened coconut , & turbinado. And they make cloud smoothies as well that remind me of Erewhon smoothies. They're very creamy and filled with loads of great ingredients that are really good for you such as spirulina, collagen, ashwagandha, to name a few. They use Turbinado sugar also known as natural brown sugar which is good to know. They also have Pick Up Lockers for online orders, it's currently unavailable at the moment it's still a work in progress. We like that this place is open 24hrs because if you're looking for a sweet treat on the healthier side this is the place to go. If you have a social media account and live in Las Vegas, you've probably seen this place and their Cloud Smoothies. Eventually I caved and went in to get one myself, and a few things surprised me: this location in Chinatown is on a corner and seems to be a large space, but it's actually a walkup/pickup location only, as in there is no dine-in area. That said, I do appreciate that they have some 20 minute parking spots right outside, since it's a super busy plaza. The location has windows into the kitchen so you can watch your order being made. I'm not sure if all locations are like this, or if this is part of their commitment to avoiding cross contamination with gluten, or what. More on that at the end... In any case, I walked up and placed my order at the window - the gal who helped me was super sweet. I did get a bit of sticker shock at my order, which was $16.99 for a dragonfruit smoothie. Long story short, I'm kind of annoyed to like it so much because I cannot afford $20 smoothies on a public school teacher budget LOL. But yeah, for a splurge, it was great - fresh fruit was found at the bottom, flavor was good, it was well blended and smooth without icy chunks. If you're looking for an Erewon dupe, this is it. I've heard another one of their smoothies has coffee in it, and I'll eventually come back and try that. But this brand is actually known for being a gluten free restaurant for celiacs, and that isn't really highlighted at all in their current marketing. I have an autoimmune disorder and a gluten free diet is highly recommended for symptom management, so I was thrilled to see Power Soul open up. But the reviews, and people I know who have to eat GF, make a great point: the menu is limited and seems to be mostly processed or premade items, which is disappointing and doesn't really do much to support their supposed target audience. But maybe that's changed over time. Owner responses here about concerns with the value/size of the keto pizza in other reviews are unprofessional and off-putting, to boot. Some days, it's hard to get out of bed, much less get to work. When I have to rush out of the house without eating breakfast to get to work on time, it'd be easy to hit up a fast food drive through to get a substandard meal. But lately, I've been stopping by the PowerSoul Cafe instead. I've been digging the Day Dream fruit smoothies (mango, pineapple, non-dairy ice cream), which help me get through the morning. And when I carpool with a coworker, he gets the Dragon Fruit smoothie (also has banana, mango, pineapple and strawberry). While this shopping center is usually very busy at night, it's a ghost town during the morning, so parking is easy. Set up is very unique. The ordering area and waiting area are in 2 separate locations. If you don't read the signs you will definitely be lost. But I appreciate how people think about the design. You can also see how they make your food and drinks through the glass window. I'm very basic, I got Strawberry Cream since my favorite is Strawberry Banana. And they did not disappoint with the taste. They also added extra time writing a cute note on the cup. We were initially a little confused about where to order. There's a window you walk up to to order and ring the bell once you've made up your mind about what you want. We were helped by two women who were both very friendly and gave us lots of good information about the variety of smoothies they offer. After we ordered we went to the pick up locker side to wait in the AC and they brought us out our beautiful smoothies! They really are beautiful and also delicious! The size is pretty large and I had a hard time finishing the whole drink. They recommended the dragon fruit one to us, which was definitely our favorite!
