    I've been eating applegate naturals for some time now (nitrate free bacon, grassfed beef hot dogs,…read moreorganic chicken) because of their quality. When I heard they opened up a couple kitchens in ct, I had to check it out. The menu is extensive, and they have options for vegans, dairy free, gluten free, and paleo diet. I had the grass-fed beef hot dog on a bed of lettuce with bacon. So good! Perfectly cooked and juicy. My buddy had the sweet Italian chicken sausage on a regular bun with cheese and cooked red onions. This is a person who doesn't really like chicken sausage, but she gave it a try. She loved it so much, that when we returned to the car she said we need to get these sausages to cook on the grill over the weekend. Two thumbs up! I'm so glad this organic kitchen has become a part of the "fast food" business because I usually can't eat anything on the road. I hope the company grows- and fast!

I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast wrap and paired it with an order of the hashbrowns and a chocolate milk. Total damage: ~$9.50, but thats fine since its organic or whatever. Chatted with one of the nice employees while the order was being prepared, seemed like a nice enough guy to bother to entertain my conversation early on a weekend... Problem is that the food wasn't particularly tastey, and there just simply was not enough quantity. The wrap was about the same size as a McDonald's breakfast wrap (not large enough to satisfy), and there were exactly a dozen small hashbrown puffs. Like come on......At least the taste was decent, but all too bland. The portions felt as if they were ordered to put exactly the minimum amount in to justify calling it a meal and charge you $9 for fast food. I was really excited for the possibility here too. Alas, not all breakfast meals are made equal. If you're here, just get Dunkin or McDs, you'll be happier. Experience: 2.5/5 Service:3.5/5 Food: 3/10 Overall: 9/20 {2.25 STARS}

    ** Bait & Switch Pricing - Greedy out of touch owner **…read more Stopped in with my two teenage daughters for a quick snack after school. One ordered a juice, one ordered a smoothie. After taking the order, the staff said they couldn't make the juice. Fine; we agreed to one smoothie split into two cups. Instead, they overfilled two cups. At the register, the owner tried to charge me for two smoothies (nearly $12 each). I explained we only ordered one smoothie to be divided. He looked at the cups and said they were full, so I had to pay for two. That's not how ordering works. If he had half a clue, he would've investigated further instead of immediately trying to squeeze the customer. He didn't. He then took one smoothie away from my daughter, said he'd divide the other, went into the back, came out with an empty cup, handed it to me, and told me to divide it myself. After the bait-and-switch and then adding insult to injury, I finally broke down and called him an M.F.; though frankly, that's too generous he is really just a low-life POS. He responded by calling me a cheapskate and telling me to get out (in front of my kids). For the record, both daughters also bought other items in this already overpriced store. This wasn't about money. It was about refusing to be taken advantage of. Maybe this kind of conduct flies somewhere wherever he is from, but it's not how business is done in the U.S. or in Westport. And last I checked, the basic rule still applies: the customer is always right, especially when the facts are this clear. Plenty of better options nearby (GG & Joes has better smoothies!). We won't be back.
