The ambiance is very peaceful although its mostly a take out spot there are a couple chairs and 1 table for the few times i've had to sit for a sec to send and email while waiting for my smoothie. The texture was like finely crushed ice. The fruits were all ripe and sweet, and the granola had a cinnamon apple taste. They layer the granola on the bottom of the cup, supposedly to prevent the acai from melting too quickly. Overall, these were solid acai bowls, and I'd return to SoBol to try their other bases.

As many reviews have noted, almost everything here is made to order so plan to wait 30-45 minutes for your food. The Jamaican patties and desserts are available quickly. I recommend ordering ahead and picking up your food because the restaurant itself isn't really designed to have a sit down meal. Overall, the food was good and if I am in the area again, I would return to try other things on the menu. But I wouldn't make a whole trip for it.

For the smoothie it's 98% ice and no substantial fruit. They upcharged me $1 for oat milk but they did not inform me that oat milk is extra. I called the store and told them that the smoothie was watery and the cashier who made it said "that's just the way it is" "we follow a recipe, I don't know what to tell you" How atrocious is the lack of customer service skills and all around horrible problem solving skills. Never did she try to make up for it. I verbalized my unhappiness. I told her I'm throwing it away. She said ok. Never once did she offer to remake it, offer a credit for another smoothie on a different visit or a refund. There's so many different ways a company can make it right.
