What disappointed me most was that the owner/manager had an opportunity to step in, acknowledge the confusion, and make the situation right, but that opportunity was missed. As for the sides: the cornbread was disappointing, the potato salad wasn't good, and the macaroni and cheese was decent but nothing memorable. Overall, between the lack of transparency, the poor quality of the food, and the way the situation was handled, I won't be returning like never.
