    Liquid Bubble Tea taro

Idk the magical flavor they put in their bubble tea here but it's truly addicting. I get the taro and it's so creamy and the pearls are always fresh!!!

This was my first time here. I had the coconut (excellent!) and the strawberry almond milk (ok - it didn't taste like it was made with real strawberries). I added some strawberries (yum!), pineapple (ok), Oreo cookie (yum), Reese peanut butter cup (yum), and some waffle cone pieces (yum! Nice and crispy). They have a rewards program and you can use your phone number. Very easy to use system. The guy behind the counter was really nice (might've been the owner) and the place was clean. I wish the bathroom had a hook on the door. I was excited to see they have boba tea because I was going all the way to Annandale for it. I'll be back to try it here!

Clean, great flavor assortment, good topping selection. It's pretty pricey, though. I do like the different cup sizes - you can basically get anything from a kiddie size to a large, any flavor fro yo you want. I'll definitely return but will probably limit myself to a medium or smaller.

Yogurt City is OK, but this review is just limited to the bubble tea. It was thick and heavy. And, the powdered milk that they made it with left a strong aftertaste. The mix was also way too sweet. The boba was cooked perfectly though. Not under or over cooked, but just right. I may give them another chance.

The strawberry yogurt was runny and did not have a good taste. The weather outside was cool.

Style Barbecue" on a sign, you've come to the right place. Hunched over a computer all morning, I needed some outside air and a quick bite. I had never been to Johnny Mac's before, so I thought, why not, give it a try. The inside is small. No indoor seating except for a counter that runs the length of the storefront. There are a couple sheltered picnic tables to the side. To give Johnny Mac's a whirl, I ordered a simple bacon cheeseburger with default toppings. My conclusion? The Johnny Mac burger is better than one from any of the other fast food establishments along Richmond Hwy: McDonalds, Five Guys, Wendy's, Burger King or Roys. Yes, the price was a li'l steep: $9.35. But the patty was huge; it might have been even approaching 1/2 lb. Also, my order was prepared quickly and the counter service polite. Johnny Mac's uses good sturdy buns. The default burger comes with neatly sliced lettuce, tomato, bacon and a tad of mayo. The toppings were neatly placed on the burger. The meat itself was juicy though probably could have stood more seasoning. But to remedy that, there is a tray on the counter inside the restaurant with about 8 different sauces, including mambo, which you can add to your burger. In addition to traditional hamburger and barbecue options, there are some Latino options. I want to come back and try the Elote (corn in a cup). It looks like you might be able to also get corn on the cob (with cotija cheese and mayo).

There is a counter to place an order, but they also have a self-order kiosk. That likely helps the small kitchen staff out. Waiting for my treat took a while because of a few other orders ahead, but when it came out I got a nicely swirled strawberry ice cream on a cone. The pink trim reminded me of a frozen yogurt spot back home. I enjoyed the ice cream on the picnic benches located outside on the side. There is a standing counter space to eat on inside, but I imagine during busier times between the line to order and the diners it could be crowded. The ice cream seemed to be popular. I saw two other guys leaving with their own tall swirls for the road. Johnny Mac's has a decent array of flavors, so I would come back if I'm back down here.

Was super excited they served a vegetarian breakfast sandwich all day as none of their other sandwiches were veggie. All good. Set up my laptop to do some work. The drink and sandwich came quickly. The sandwich was really terrific, warm and full of freshness, and there were condiments galore available if you wanted them. What dropped the visit was the lack of general awareness from the people running the store. Someone came to do deliveries (dad?) and they propped the door open to unload their van. They slowly moved things armful by armful - ok I get it, it's probably a family business, and it's hard work. Leave the door propped open. Gusts of cold wind were coming in and blowing so hard even the gals behind the counter would look over at the door open. I ignored it and went back to my laptop. It was open a while. After a bit I didn't see anyone going in and out, but the door was still open. Now other patrons were glancing at the door as they were getting blasted by the "feels like 21" wind. A little while later the guy who was bringing in items emerged from the kitchen, said goodbye to the people working there (his kids?) and walked out, closing the door behind him. Ok so we froze for no reason as he was done moving stuff but left the door wide open when talking with the staff. For a while. After that I couldn't get comfortable again. I noticed that they were not busy for a spell but one of the gals behind the counter played on her phone rather than cleaned up the spills on the counter or swept the floor. Those small quick things would have improved the inside greatly. Again I get it, this is hard repetitive work, but the awareness was lacking. The food and drink were not good enough to make up for this. I personally doubt I'll be back.
