At one point, not too long ago, I thought it was completely ridiculous to pay over $7 for a freaking smoothie, that is until Juiceland made me fall head over heels for them with their amazing goodness potions, I mean smoothies!! Not only did I stop thinking $7 for a smoothie is craziness, I've found myself paying around $10 for one here and justify that with "You pay more for an unhealthy cocktail with no nutritional value. This is good stuff! Drink up" Long story short, their smoothies are the best there is to offer! I don't know what the heck they put in their smoothies, but each one of them always comes out so thick, creamy, and delicious. All of their veggies are organic. All of their juices are cold-pressed in house. They even crack their own coconuts. If you never done that before, trust me, it's a real pain in the ass to crack one of those babies open, the good old way with hands and a big bulky machete anyway. I have only had the smoothies from here, haven't tried any of their juices or food yet. Their menu is so extensive you might have a hard time deciding what to get. My favorites so far are the Wundershowzen and Kaleibrator. They also have special priced smoothie for each day of the week where you can get a medium size smoothie for the price of a small one. It's great to switch up the order and try something new each time. There's a good reason (or several) why they now have over 20 different locations all over Texas and still expanding. If you're still not convinced, just give them a try and decide for yourself ;) Also, make sure you sign up for their reward program. Purchase their reusable cup/container, whatever you call it for about $7, bring it back whenever you make a purchase and you get $.50 off each time I think. And if you are a little calories conscious, ask them for alternative base for your smoothie to reduce the amount of calories and sugar. Remember, you either pay for your health and longevity now by investing in good, healthy food, or pay later for medical care and pills. I'm really disappointed. I wanted this to be one of my new favs but I'm disturbed by the way I was treated today when they got my order wrong. I wasn't rude or anything. I just noticed that they left the strawberries out of my customized açaí bowl that I ordered online. The guy in the kitchen immediately snapped and said strawberries weren't on the order. I was kinda taken back by his swift response and I apologized. Maybe the computer may have taken it off. But as I stood there in my guilt, something told me to check my emailed receipt. Sure enough, Strawberry was there, bold as day. I showed the girl behind the counter to prove that I wasn't just a disorganized customer making unreasonable requests after the fact. She played it off like everything was ok and these things happen from time to time. Ultimately the guy in the kitchen just dumped the bowl he already made into the blender, added strawberries, sprinkled a little granola over the top and had the girl hand it to me. Still wet from the water I'm guessing he used to rinse the bowl before giving it back to me in the initial container. I left feeling very disappointed, especially considering the cost you pay for a unique, organic and healthy experience only to be ruin by poor customer service. I really felt bad from them getting my order wrong and it wasn't even my fault. I went the previous day and my experience was nothing like this. The ladies were very accommodating and welcoming. The energy was part of I was looking forward to coming in today. Very, very Austin-y juice and smoothie spot off Sylvan, making it super convenient for folks in West Dallas and OC. They have a pretty broad selection of drinks and some pre-made lunch items for folks wanting to chew something. And I absolutely love the free crayons and coloring books for the littles. The service has been a little hit or miss though the last few times I've been. It's hard to put my finger on it but they seem to be somewhere bordering on dismissive to none hipster types. I was craving a smoothie and this spot is in a great location to stop for one. I enjoy the area and the variety of smoothie choices there was. It was my first time here and I enjoyed the ambiance. It has a very hipster vibe. The set up of the place with all the music disks around is pretty cool. For smoothies, we tried the Berry Godmother and the Chia Chia (replaced the banana with strawberry). The Berry Godmother was tasty. It took 1-2 sips to get used to the flavor. It was sweet, but not too sweet, and berry flavorful. The Chia Chia with strawberry was a little bitter. It had a strong flavor (almost like ginger). This was probably not my favorite but still a good choice. The place seems like it's pet friendly and a very casual hang out spot. The service was a little interesting, they were not as friendly as I thought they would be. There are about 2-3 small tables inside and 1 small round table outside. It's probably ideal for take out. Overall, service was fast, drinks were pricey compared to other similar shops, but I would come back to try another drink. read more

I usually don't write negative reviews, and I love this place. But when it comes to poor treatment towards employees I have to say something. The manager here is SO. MEAN. Her name is La and the way that she treats the poor workers here is cruel. She was extremely condescending and impatient to one of them RIGHT in front of me! I felt so uncomfortable and powerless, and I just said I was sorry to the employee when she walked away. Its insane how I haven't seen any reviews about her yet. This lovely brand has finally mingled its way up from Austin. If you're looking for an easy-going smoothie/juice place, this is the one. The menu is so vast and has something for everyone. If you can't decide, build your own! I'm a huge fan of the Valley Girl with kale. There's also "items of the day", which is a great way to try out more of the menu (it's also a medium size for the price of a small!). The complex is brand new, so the location is super clean. In general, Juiceland always had high standards for cleanliness in Austin. This Sylvan location is no different. My only concern is the restroom, which is located in the back of the building. It's also kind of a public/shared restroom, so it's not really maintained by Juiceland (can get super gross sometimes). The staff are perky and friendly. They really make your day a little better! And in addition to the environment, there's free retro arcade games in the back that you can play. My boyfriend and I always try to raise the high score on PacMan, but there's a big variety that you can choose from even though there's two machines. It's a great way to make a few minutes pass quickly when you're waiting for your drink! read more

I like that any smoothie can be turned into a bowl. The There are plenty of healthy smoothie styles and add ons to choose from. The smoothies are prepared in a timely manner. Another plus is that they offer healthy vegan and some gluten free grab and go options. The fact that they sale Mountain Valley Spring water in the glass bottle, and Harmless Harvest (the best bottled organic coconut water) in the refrigerated section was a big deal to me, and told me a lot about the companies integrity. Environment: JuiceLand is very kid friendly. There are kid sizes available, and free arcade games. You can also choose the smoothie of the day for a discounted price. In addition, it's always a joy to see the vinyl record collection on display....surprisingly old and current artists. My only reason for four stars is that it isn't clear in store or on the website whether organic produce is utilized. This is extremely important especially when considering the dirty dozen. Also, I feel that one of the outside seating areas is a little too close to the busy intersection. I was beyond excited to finally try JuiceLand. I live in Coppell but the hippie and juice lover in me was more than happy to spend my day off coming to try! I couldn't wait to try EVERYTHING and scoop up some swag. Well, the staff there wasn't feeling the same way. Young black chic with gauges and an old white lady with glasses couldn't have been ANY more pretentious. My hubby isn't the health nut juice freak that I am but he always backs me and was willing to try it out and join me. They had their noses turned up the whole time he asked questions and were so bothered to have to answer anything. We practically begged for suggestions and couldn't pry much out of either one of them. So unfortunate because the juice and smoothies were great, so at least a star for that.
